Festivals back in the UK it seems.
Latitude confirmed to go ahead – let’s see if Longitude will too.
And if not – will people here go banana?

Micko – as Ireland’s government is currently unable to put a date even to the nearest month on when you might think about standing outside a pub nursing a pint in a plastic glass two metres from your mates the idea of anyone going to a festival is beyond their comprehension.
But you can bet the National Ploughing Championships will be at the top of their agenda when they eventually get round to it begorrah.

Why are they calling her a barrister? She’s a self styled “lifestyle coach” and isn’t registered with the Law Library of Ireland. Did she get her legal qualification from the same place as Barrista at Law Tracey O’Mahony?

Probably, because she is one, civil servant – just make the coffee, dudess.

I love the way people think getting me to make food or drink is an insult. If I made coffee for you, you’d be afraid of your life to drink it because you wouldn’t know what liquids are contained within.
It’s clear that she has a case and I would agree it is awkward for the asylum seeking group. It doesn’t benefit the organisation’s reputation and they’re doing asylum seekers a disservice by using such tactics to further their cause.

You got your info from Grifter Meeja’s blog? Ha ha haahahahaaaha!

The info is correct though. So your problem is not whether something is true or not, rather than the place where it has been reported, and that entitles you to throw distain on a poster here?

Guilt by proximity/association is not a healthy trend, it’s been far too common in a lot of journalism over the last 5 years.

Only one poster as far as i can see flinging assertions, so the term “lads off Broadsheet” might be incorrect (if you were going for the plural of course)
Plus you could set your watch by said posters rantings.
I can confirm, from experience
that “lads off Broadsheet” is correct

Another downside of Ireland’s slow vaccine progress which I flagged up weeks ago on here is becoming more of a reality.
Dublin’s hosting of three games in this summer’s Euros, already re-arranged from last year, now look in real doubt.
The UK, which has offered to host the entire tournament, expect fans in stadiums by mid-June and UEFA have to make a decision soon.
