Car is a Renault 16
Hillman?
if the car had of been painted the same colour as the bus complete with hairy black bristles dried in, that would have been our car
Ah, the 83, affectionately known by my social circle as the Christmas Bus – As frequent and as much of a surprise, especially in its Imp form. More than once I walked from a friend’s place in Ballsbridge back to Ranelagh because the scheduled bus never showed up.
And then, without fail, 2 or 3 of them would come together..
It’s got better (not much). It does fight with the arrivals board on occasion too (the 83 & 44 are the only ghost buses I know, feel free to warn me of others)..
Err…
Are we sure that’s Dublin ?!?
Where did those tall buildings come from, back then ??
Although, the reg. on that Renault gives it away that it is Dublin !
