I’m about to have my second lockdown birthday, followed by my wife’s followed by my daughters. Lindt bunnies would make the birthday blues turn chocolate brown.

Despite my best efforts, my son has never had chocolate owing to him being one and a half but this Easter is going to change everything. So really…

“at this time owing to my gargantuan habit that no lindt rabbit could pull out of a hat to suppress my insatiable desire for chocolate bunnies and chocolate bunny decapitation, that’s how I’d roll with these bad boys. Off with the rabbits ears and buuny brain in one fatal mastication.

I deserve the two enormous Lindt Gold bunnies especially at this time owing to my two grandchildren home from Cambodia for good, who know nothing about Easter or the Easter Bunnies. It would be a nice introduction for them.

  5. Daisy Chainsaw

If you’re not giving it to the new momma, I’d like it, because I got good news on my last scan, and I’d give one of the bunnies to my brother who, unfortunately, got bad news. (but it’s treatable).

glad you’re on the mend and best to the brother Daisy, it’s a desperate time to be in and out of hospital

I’ll be honest and say it’s not the worst. Appointment times are kept to pretty much because you don’t have 30 people arriving for a consult at 9am and outpatients is functioning without being insane. I am extremely grateful to the health service for the level of care and attention I’ve recieved during these covid times.

I deserve the two enormous Lindt Gold bunnies especially at this time owing to the only lint I have is blue and is situated in my belly button – positively harey.

+1 for Janet and Daisy.. Failing that..

I deserve the two enormous Lindt Gold bunnies especially at this time owing to the fact that I just deserve the two enormous Lindt Gold bunnies.

Glad we could clear that up.

i like it because the effects of covid nearly killed me and i haven’t been able to eat anything but mashed turnips and mashed potatoe since Christmas….a bit of chocolate would be something to look forward too

‘I deserve the two enormous Lindt Gold bunnies especially at this time owing to my own pair growing up and heading off to Easter University this time last year.’

    Sniff, sniff.

‘I deserve the two enormous Lindt Gold bunnies especially at this time owing to my mission to take a Golden Idol from a temple in South America – I need something that weighs 2.2lbs to avoid setting off the booby trap. I only need the second one because it’s a long flight and have you seen the price of Toblerone in the Loop?!’

I deserve the two enormous Lindt Gold bunnies especially at this time owing to the fact I had to be in Dublin for the first time in 3 months for a dental appointment in the Grand Canal Dock area today, beautiful weather, hardly much traffic, people sauntering or jogging at respectable distances, sun was warm, swans floating by – dentist congratulated me on not having any cavities since my last xray 4 year ago – “I gave up chocolate” was my response to his polite inquiry of my dental regime, I’m not sure he believed me, maybe he knew it was a lie, but we agreed it was a good day and moved on, moved on into the evening sun as I headed back out of the city I was born in but priced out of many an economic cycle ago..

I deserve the Lindt Easter Bunnies because my other half has been burning the ears off me rabbiting -on about how good she is staying off chocolate for Lent while I’m condemned to a daily diet of lettuce leaves and grated carrots . She takes the social distancing thing too seriously too with me been banished to a hutch in the garden but I might be able to burrow my way back into her affections for Easter with a Lindt Easter Bunny or two .
Rabbits are no good at this celibacy business so here’s hoping for an Easter Rising !

  13. kerryview

So there is no Irish chocolate at Easter? Unlike at times such as Christmas when BS advertises small Irish businesses for free!

  14. Lilly

I deserve the two enormous Lindt Gold bunnies especially at this time owing to the fact that the pair I rescued from Dunnes earlier got away.
