So Bodger preferred the Trump solution- separate the kids and send them off to God knows where into the hands of God knows whom while border guards deport the parents and operate a shoot-to-kill policy for illegals crossing into the US which is legitimate according to a recent decision of SOCTUS?

    Got it.

    Uh, Project Veritas?

Four years of increasingly, and gleefully, deliberate cruel and inhumane treatement at the US/Mexico border and NOW suddenly Bodger is worried about holding conditions at detention facilities? Bit on the nose.

Deflect deflect deflect, the nigel way.

It’s only okay to criticise those I dislike personally!

      1. Nigel

Speaking of only criticising people you dislike, now you’re reminding me of the way every time Trump’s atroctities at the Border were raised here a few commenters would always jump in and start going on about Obama’s ‘kids in cages.’ This sucks, Biden needs to fix it, abolish ICE. Meanwhile, conservatives have gone back to screaming about floods of dirty, violent migrants flooding the US.

        1. Mr. T

Ignoring your deflection from criticism of your deflection..

“This sucks, Biden needs to fix it, abolish ICE.”

Abolish US immigration enforcement, and replace it with what? A free for all? Run across the border and its all good?

In fairness, Nigel is one of the mainstays AGAINST deflection on here – it would be an utter pit of deflection, shouty obfustication, mickeyfittery and Punch&Judy level pantomime without him.

Fair play Nigel and +1 on the laughable Trumpocrisy of this post

No offense. Everyone on here is only smashing altogether
        ;)

Lol. No, for real. Decency, common sense, maybe a little right-on but he consistently serves more morons than Wetherspoons on here

          2. Clampers Outside

            He serves them, agreed.

But he’s a great user of deflection and obfuscation when it suits him. And the common sense is there for most things until he puts his pseudo-science hat on :)

They need to fix their border issues soon. My God! It was obviously a problem that existed before Trump, but him and Stephen Miller made it worse. I thought it improved over the last few months of 2020, but now its back to looking like a disaster. Biden has a lot of work to do.

Immigration numbers plummeted during the 2nd half of Dump, thanks to him being bigly skilful bigly tactical at being a swine. Then happy smiley Joemala gets in and everybody is surprise there’s a new wave of people headed for the border. Throw in the pandemic… what exactly are you going to do with these people given that Southern California, Arizona, New Mexico have some of the worst Covid situations… where are you going to put them? Democrats are afraid is you start treating people humanly the public might go and be angry at the free stuff to immigrants situation, and then go vote for the Republicans… so yeah, fun times with real people’s live. While we’re at it, anybody got any suggestions about how to fix Guatemala and Mexico, or is it all Uncle Sam’s fault? Answers on a postcard…

Isn’t it all related to the disaster that is the war on drugs? I think this effects every other country in Central and South America. Its a policy that Biden and other dems and republicans supported years ago.

      1. Junkface

Well that’s probably a part of it, but I really think its more related to disastrous US foreign policies of the past in Central America, CIA interfering with elections, the war on drugs, and military coups. Both parties own that particular mess going back 40 years.

        1. ce

And other suggestions beyond the obvious…. maybe it’s a little more complicated, beyond Uncel Sam Bad or Coke goes up, meth and guns go down… … although perhaps there could be a War of Avocados and other agricultural products, which narcos now make more money on.

  5. Micko

    Right so… I’ll bite Bodg

    Bagpipes

    Scottish yeah?

Not Uillean Pipes… which are Irish.

I think Uillean means elbow in Irish? As in they are played with the elbow – not the gob

Open to be corrected – but if not.

    BLOODY AMERICANS!!!!!
