   Question,
   Is it true that it’s no longer possible to wild camp in Glenmalure? A friend that lives locally says that all of the spaces that were usually open were now wired off. Being so close to Dublin this is a great place for an overnight – I’d be disappointed if no longer possible.

      blame campers making a mess of the place, stories of piles of rubbish and poo being left behind…

         Yup. I’ve seen it first hand. Very disheartening for those of us that ‘leave no trace’. It’s a right pain in the arse when you see people disrespecting their countryside. I guess that’s the reasoning behind the closure so..
