Ah now.
This morning.
Broadcaster Lucy Kennedy throws orange juice over colleague Colm Hayes to celebrate the launch of their new ‘Colm & Lucy Breakfast Show’ on Ireland’s Classic Hits.
‘The Colm & Lucy Breakfast Show’ starts on Thursday 1st April and will air weekday mornings 6.10am. They promise ‘family fun amid kitchen chaos at breakfast time’.

Meanwhile…

Quite possibly the worse pair of co-hosts on radio. Whatever happened to less bullpoo chat, more music?
There is so much that is completely and totally wrong with this and that photo.. however, that Lucy has some power and aim…
Lucy and Colm are great together
That urine looks very cloudy….
Berocca?
With Solpadeine and a single ice cube
Breakfast of champions
True.
But I’d replace the ice cube with a cigarette.
Maybe there is still (sadly) an audience for this male/female slagging-each-other-off format.
Prefer to move the dial to some music-laden pirate. Or listen to an audio book / podcast and actually learn something.
terrible waste of Vitamin C
never even heard of that radio station.
i though LK was on Nova.
Well worth the license fee. :/
Between music streaming and podcasting, radio as a platform will hopefully be gone in another generation and we’ll finally be rid of these awful “talent” being forced on us by Irish broadcasters.
Colm used to be pulling over 200k when he was with RTE believe it or not. The pair of them are utterly charmless. Mixture of sneering, lad/ladette off the pair of them.
As already said, why people, who can used the internet, restrict themselves to Irish radio/tv is a mystery
So few good shows on the radio now. Pat James was on Nova on Sunday night and he was a musical education. But he’s only on the APP version now. Phantom FM/Nightsky had some great shows too.
Bring back the Metal Show!
bring back TXFM
+1
8radio is the closest thing. Only available online, but very good!
