This is meant to be progress ?
Why should you need to register your interest and wait for an appointment ?
Shouldn’t Ireland already have an aged-based database via its GPs and be contacting each cohort ?
In the UK online registration provides you with an actual vaccine appointment not a ” we’ll get back to you later ” response.

Ireland does have an aged-based database within the HSE.
Once you reach 60, you receive an invite from them to post off some brown stuff to them for Bowel Screening.

Might be simpler to send it directly to the fountainhead of said, for his expert opinion…

What about the current groups? Can you be on a doctor’s list and a consultant’s list and still register yourself. I’m utterly confused ….it’s time for my meds….

LOL, Garda in the video casually strolling along, gets to the point where he realises its Stephen Donnelly (about 29 seconds in) and goes ”fupp that, I’d rather give mouth to mouth to a vomiting junkie than have to be anywhere near that shobgite” and does a swift u-turn and walks away.

    Legend!

He’s hasn’t been able to organise anything for the current waiting list..now he’s adding more.

‘Each year within this age group will be able to register…’

What exactly does this mean? It suggests that once a citizen reaches 65 they can register annually for a Covid-19 vaccination. Whereas what we think he means is that people between 65 and 69 can register to receive the vaccine now. Communications is not his strong point. Perhaps this government is hiding behind this constant ambiguity with the deliberate aim to pedal confusion while they buy time to figure things out.

People aged 69 register on Monday, 68 on Tuesday, 67 on Wednesday, 66 on Thursday and 65 on Friday, no?

Why did they feel the need to make this more complicated than necessary?
