The Team GB cheerleader’s take is that the EU should have started last month on a agreement made today? Hilarious.

The EU are in the hands of drug companies it failed to negotiate water-tight contracts with last summer while holding out for better prices and missing the boat on early delivery.
Four months since Ireland’s jab rollout began you’re celebrating an extra 20,000 a week who ” might ” be fully vaccinated by July as a major achievement for the EU ?
The really do have you exactly where they want you.

Blah blah blah. EU Bad. Team GB!

Don’t you ever get bored of posting the same rubbish day after day? There has to be a more fulfilling hobby.

          2. Charger Salmons

Why should I be bored when there are dunderheads like you to educate every day ?
Mehole pops out a big round number and you wet yourself with joy.
Your life is being run by a journeyman politician from Cork and a failed German minister both promoted way beyond their ability but chosen precisely because they’re useless.
And it’s the reason why you’re still going to be in lockdown for months.
            Suck it up.

Given what the EU are paying
            and what Blimey are paying
            for the exact same jabs

Mebbe tis the drug companies that are in the hands of the EU
            Charage?

Where’s all that AZ being manufactured again?

          4. Charger Salmons

The cost of any vaccine pales into insignificance compared to paying for an entire country to sit at home for months not doing anything.
Which is why it’s better to pay whatever it takes for a jab rather than €350 a week in PUP.
This is a lesson learned too late last year by the EU which is why it is performing so poorly now.
I would have thought an accountant would understand basic economics like this.

well ReproBertie, I have noticed he/she is usually on here everyday and often

the sheer volume of commentary and time involved..it seems to me to be almost like a part time job, phew! lol

You read far too much into my comments Spoofer. Desperate for anyone to come play with you as usual.

Lockdown for months? I’ll be back coaching kids in hurling in less than a fortnight and back training with the kung fu guys in early May.

So 545,000 doses over 14 WEEKS of Q2 works out at fully vaccinating an extra 19,500 people per week.
    Whoopee.
Blighty has been regularly smashing 545,000 doses a DAY.
Mehole tosses an EU morsel and the usual suspects gobble it up.

Canute and mehole share a common affliction, the King died of jaundice and martins end will come about in a similar manner re all things corona… The Man that would be King, for a day at least.

So 545,000 doses over the remaining 10 weeks of Q2 works out at fully vaccinating an extra 7785 people per day across Ireland.
    Whoopee.
Blighty has been regularly smashing 545,000 doses a DAY.
