This morning.

Merrion Street, Dublin 2.

Further to the decision to limit the use of the AstraZeneca vaccine to people aged over 60 years and the delay in the roll out of the Johnson and Johnson vaccine across Europe….

…Minister for Transport Eamon Ryan has said he is hopeful the Covid-19 vaccine schedule can remain on track.

Speaking ahead of a meeting with the National Vaccination taskforce, Mr Ryan said he is confident the system is flexible and those who have had vaccinations cancelled this week will be accommodated “very quickly”.

Taoiseach Micheál Martin, Tánaiste Leo Varadkar and Minister Ryan will talk to the taskforce and the Health Service Executive this morning ahead of a Cabinet meeting as the Government sets about adjusting the vaccination plan.

Mr Ryan said the advice about Johnson and Johnson is only temporary and the AstraZeneca vaccine has been cleared for people aged over 60.

Ryan clearly believes that optimism is an act of rebellion. It isn’t. Neither is hope a strategy.

The worried look of a man who doesn’t have a clue and knows he’s out of his depth.
A lifetime of campaigning for more recycling bottle banks has not prepared him for this crisis.
Fortunately we have a safe pair of hands at the wheel in Mehole.
    Said no-one ever.

      ”Worried look”?

He’s not worried in the slightest, worried would imply he was aware of events and how badly they are going.

If anything he looks like he is regaling to whoever he is talking to his experiences communing with a Gaian entity after he had a *third cup* of herbal tea. Lives dangerously does Eamo….

”Yah, so she was like green and naked and full of leaves and was in a brown ceramic pot and was holding her many arms above her head right there in my living room.”

In fairness to the man I don’t think he quite grasps how out of his depth he is… has campaigned and voted for the incinerator in Dublin Bay, the removal of the triangle in Ranelagh (remember that ?) the removal of all of the mature trees on O’Connell st and to consistently load more taxes on all fossil fuels and electricity.. effectively a tax on the poor.. he might be on a bike but he is right wing FG to the core… but doesn’t even understand that…

Saving the world on his bike. South Dublin, please stop voting this dangerous lunatic into office. FFS.

Actually, while we are talking about Eamo, a good friend of mine took him up on his advice about having ‘*salads* ready to go’ last year when the whole lockdown began in case there were supply issues.

He knew exactly what Eamo was alluding to when he said *salads*.

Suffice to say he is now always ‘in green’, organic, mellow, home grown *salad*.

    ;)

To be a fly on the wall when the call goes into O’Leary from the Dear Minister seeking cooperation on MHQ.

    Sweet when served cold
