Yesterday.
Kilbarrack [Dublin 5] resident Sean Barrett Byrne displays the model railway he has built during lockdown.
Based loosely on the fictional neighbourhood of Barrystown from the novels of Roddy Doyle, it has taken him roughly 11 months to complete.
Includes Dublin Bus porn.
In fairness.

Excellent. A Northside museum should offer to buy this.
Fantastic stuff :)
I’ve a couple of original Hornby carriages with CIE logos on them that must be now… Oooohh… I dunno, 42+ years old.
They need a home… might message this lad if I get a chance :)
That’s brilliant, the attention to detail is amazing!
Love it. My dad was a train enthusiast (travelled the British Rail system as a 12 year old in 1960!). He got myself and my brother into it as kids and we enjoyed building a big set like this (admittedly, not as big but similar detail). Loved our trips on old steam trains too, including the Severn Valley Railway in England which still does great day trips out on the old engines and carriages. Great to see its still alive.
Tis Smashin alright!
My inner Godzilla approves…
