I see the MU fans are the latest group protesting about Northern Ireland protocol.
Redundant Proofreaders Society
More like MU fans protest against the money machine they are all part of and complicit with.
Innit.

It might well end up in a points reduction this season, and worse if it continues. Interesting to see how long fans will keep it up if it means the club keep getting punished. If united got relegated or banned from the PL for repeated pitch invasions or security breaches, would the Glazers sell?

Soccer, like professional rugby, is an international business. The humble origins of ‘back street football’ in British industrial towns in the 19th century have been forgotten. Big money corrupts and lovers of the game know it. It could happen in the GAA if people are mesmerised by dosh.
Junkface
It’s called Football. Its the game where the player touches the ball with their feet on the ground 100% of the time. Soccer is what Americans call football because they are easily confused between hands and feet in a sport. Any sport where the player handles the ball as part of the game cannot be called football.
Its also known worldwide as football, especially in south America. They get it.
Rosette of Sirius
It was caller soccer in England before it was ever used in the US. Association Football.
Formerly known as @ireland.com
I normally agree with you, Junkface. But it is perfectly fine to refer to it as Soccer. Encyclopedia Britannica has this: “In places where football can be ambiguous, soccer is usefully precise.” It also points out that “soccer” is an English term, not one created in America. The goalie in soccer touches the football. During the throw-in, it is legal to touch the ball.
We call it Football or Gaelic Football, if we’re forced t’
And we play it using all body parts
That other sport is soccer
And is also recognised as the Foreign Game
But isn’t restricted to just feet
Head, chest …
Junkface
I get what you mean, and what the encyclopedia says but logically, it makes no sense. GAA football you handle the ball 50% of the time, NFL they handle it 90%, Aussie rules football is similar amount of handling to GAA.
Yet the one sport where you kick the ball and handling is against the rules, is the one we change the name of?? I’m not having it. I don’t care. Ha ha!
Football is football, you’ll never take me alive!!

“Far cry from small boys in the park, jumpers for goalposts. Rush goalie. Two at the back, three in the middle, four up front, one’s gone home for his tea. Beans on toast? Possibly, don’t quote me on that. Marvellous…”
Well you’re right there. Hurling is the most skillful and difficult looking game of them all. The speed, jesus.

Junkface, association football’s first rules allowed the ball to be carried by the keeper up the pitch.
There was no crossbar either, goals looked identical to Aussie rules

Well
The National Party are there
On it
All over it, the man at the very top
Justin Barrett
In the Station n’ all with the poor man
Churning it and churning it
Ivor the Emperor retweeting NPs Philip Dwyer’s solo throughout the night
They got it
Interesting company all the same
But this is one for, and from, the National Party + celebrity Emperor endorsement
So ask them
Inevitable
Nothing to see here…
(Except everything you were warned about during the children’s kidnapping referendum.)
Daisy Chainsaw
Emperor Ivor and An Pairtí Nazí… mmmph
GiggigyGoo
Well you’ve gotten your daily NP reference over. On the story itself though, do you see anything wrong with what is alleged if there is no legal foundation for what occurred? I sincerely hope we aren’t going down the Tusla/Gardai road again.
‘beg your pardon….daily NP reference
Produce the last fortnights so –
Meanwhile, there are children, who have been taken into care
Under an order
There should be no commentary, or reporting
Or retweeting videos, or Political exploitation
It’s Very reckless to be trampling all over In Camera rule
No matter what the truth turns put to be
Hardly the behaviour of any one seeking election into our legislative branches
Bitnboxy
This gives an insight into the sort of accounts poor auld GiggidyPox is delighting in promoting and frothing over – NP with a puny but lost abusive goblin at the helm (who cut his brown teeth in Youth Defence before even they tired of him) and Ivor, the Knave of Nincompoopery: well, you have found your tribe GiggidyPox. Talk about the dregs of society.
@V aka Frilly Keane: agree with your contribution V.
GiggigyGoo
Great that you know the background to this V. The father is the one who put out the videos as far as I can gather.
The ‘daily’ reference was a figure of speech. Don’t be so touchy. And your poetry still is better than Higgins’
GiggigyGoo
Ah, the Boxy makes an appearance. Funny that isn’t it? Very quiet but once I post something, out it comes. Unreal. Beetlejuice and all that. Awful to say I still own it.
Not sure what the father had to do with Philip Dwyer’s solo that Ivor the Emperor was sharing goodo, or with Philip Dwyer’s party leader travelling from Limerick to Longford to participate in another recording.
If Justin Barrett is the family’s solicitor, fair enough, but even then he should know not to allow ‘In Camera’ conditions be undermined
As far as I’m concerned – the Family are entitled to privacy, and not material for National Party Reps, members and supporters to share online
And that’s where I now hop off this subject
Leave the family alone everyone
Bitnboxy
You have been very quiet of late GiggidyPox?! Some matters to attend to, eh?! Hah!
Boxy is always watching to see what depths you will plumb next to distract from your malaise. Needless to say, is that Twitter account you quoted typical of the accounts you “enjoy”? Grim.
Suffice it to say, you are in NO position to call others “touchy”. This is literally your MO on here.
Boxy keeping it real!
Now, sling it GiggidyPox, you silly.
PS. Read V’s response.
GiggigyGoo
If the father chooses to upload videos, or agrees for someone else to do so, then your point is moot V.
I see your lapdog Boxy is plámásing you all over the shop under its many guises. Not surprised, as it can’t think for itself obviously. Next thing you know, it’ll be using some thread that congratulates a poster on a new arrival to push its own hangups.
Narcissists and gaslighters just love to refer to themselves in the third person.
Hardly “moot”
If children have been taken into care – for whatever reasons
They are protected by “in camera”
And all parties to the Family Law matter(s) are required to uphold it
So STFU and leave the family alone
They are not fodder for political agendas or anti- lockdown protestors
So stop
GiggigyGoo
Maybe i’m wrong V, but i do believe that for the ‘in camera’ aspect to be applied, then it must go to court and ask a judge to order that the children be taken into care (under a care order). If the judge agrees, they will grant a care order for a short time.
There doesn’t seem to be such an order in place. There doesn’t seem to have been a court aspect to this. Unless you know different?
No
I don’t
Only what you shared above
And what Broadsheet shared on Twitter which included content shared by Ivor the Emperor within the string
All of which introduces the National Party – in one shape or another
And a very desperate family situation
The latter being absolutely none of my business
However the former allows me to criticise the politicising and exploitation of a very private family crisis
By people who have very well established agendas
I hope the man has engaged an experienced family law solicitor, as well as a brute of a ligitator
’cause the poor divil is going to need them
Unreal
He had a meeting with Lay litigation Ireland who are representing him now.
I hope that Giggidy will get great mileage out of exploiting the fate of young children who were cruelly abducted in the death of night. There is no moral or ethical boreen too narrow or pointy for Giggidy to go down in his mail van
Daisy Chainsaw
He’d get better representation with a block of cheese.
Unreal
Why is that now Daisy?
Here’s what Izzy Kamikaze thinks..
Now they’re telling you some ratlicker gobplop’s kids were taken off him, because he brought them to Mass & some of ye are lapping it up!
Disgraceful heading on the Irish Sun – that Brueckner person is clearly a disgusting, vile individual but there is very little evidence that he is responsible for the disappearance of Madeline McCann. Papers are slow to learn, this is the 3rd person the tabloids have said was responsible for her disappearance, and they paid out around £600,000 to one of them when they acknowledged they were wrong. More sensational headlines just to sell papers.
Daisy Chainsaw
They dig up a new Maddie suspect every time the money runs low. He’s no innocent, but any tenuous connection that points away from the family will always be pushed by their pr handlers.

Richard D. Hall does a fine forensic dissection of the Tapas 9 and their bizarre holiday. Get it on u-tube.

Thanks to the biogeochemical flows I mentioned before, we’ll all be playing senior camogie soon, albeit briefly.
