Paddy Cosgrave – from anyone else! What does this ape do all day aside from mimicking Gemma O’Doherty on Twitter? Its appears financial independence has turned him into a tiresome crank and troll. I appreciate he has grudges (which is a bit strange for an entitled Glenstal boy) but he could at least try and be subtle.

    Absolute and utter dose.

What is Cosgrave’s endgame, does he plan to run at some point to show them all how it’s done properly (both the troughing and the politicking) or is he just bitter and can’t let the grudge go? People haven’t forgotten what a fleece job that summit was, he’s not so innocent himself.

Well, I certainly think Cosgrave has delusions of grandeur. His genius needs to be recognised. He could be laying the “groundwork” for a presidential run at which point he may regret his twitter-feed.

I don’t know what happens to some of these tech guys with success but it ain’t pretty.

He’s just another southside twit like yourself bb
Maybe find some scrotes to take a pot at , or something

        1. Bitnboxy

          Cosgrave is actually from Wicklow.

Sorry if my calling-out mindless violence upsets you.

          Well, sorry not sorry.

Wait… Cosgrave WANTS politicians to play up, or down, to his preconceptions that they cos-play being man-on-the-street types? If they’re not all sporting designer Healy Rae flat caps are they even TRYING to pander properly?

I wonder has Paddy Cosgrave kept his Glenstal Abbey blazer? A cut above the rest. Made in Italy.

What a timely and relevant anecdote about a politician who has been out of power for 30 years (and deceased for 15 of them)

I don’t normally agree with Paddy but this is a good tweet. Politicians have become celebrities, and, in their own eyes, the elite. Take away the clothing allowances and extra benefits – they are paid well enough. Stop the photocalls. Some work might get done and they will relate to citizens better and certainly be more popular. There is a dissonance here. Remember Bruton’s ‘summer abs’ shot. We are in Dublin here, not Hollywood.

Lol but this is the same Paddy Cosgrave who refused to hire any Irish person who did not have a degree from Trinity.

Trinners is for winners not Shinners.

      How he has rebranded

What a goon Cosgrove is. I’m not sure I could name any “luxury brands” in the photo? – [The bag maybe – I don’t really know]. The clothes may be “Sunday best” but they could still all be from Dunnes Stores.

    Piss off Paddy.

+1 I’d love to hear Paddy’s analysis of their clothing.

The hand bag is the only obvious thing to me. The lads shirts could easily be M&S.

aw it would be great to have a Labour Party that were actually socialist, and not just semi-socialist until they get in power and turn full Neo-liberal.

I have little interest in Paddy , but he is annoying people I don’t like one bit, and Im all for that …

    none of this matters
    there’s no battle here
just a faux one for bored barely tasked politico journos to write up some pointless drivel for newsfill
the tool will win the seat because Fine Gael
they could pick Fr Brendan Smyth and they’d still win it

Irish politics is just so depressing. Nothing really important changes (cost of living, housing, healthcare). I think if the entire working population went on regular strikes like in other EU countries it might make them budge and do something useful. They are complaining that businesses can’t find enough staff after lockdowns and PPE, so keep the momentum going, use it as leverage against a Gov’t that always sits on its hands. They do nothing for Irish people, emigration continues year after year.

I vanna bacik her but she rides a blue bike and the poster has a red one

    Feck off Paddy.
What’s wrong with smart casual and people caring about their appearance?
Better than your techy plebs slobbing around in tracksuits tee-shirts and trainers…
