From interviews with virologists that I have seen, they think that the flu is primarily spread from people flying internationally. So when the flu is in the northern hemisphere, it’s brought to the south and vice versa. Flying has been cut severely during the pandemic, way less crowded planes, but yes new hygiene rules, no hand shakes, have also made a huge difference.

I like this England team. They seem to have found their balls at a major tournament. The 4 – 0 win over Ukraine was surprising and entertaining. They might be upping their game just at the right moment. They have great players to be fair, and a couple of them used to play for Ireland. The main thing that used to happen to England was that they turned up without any direction, or competitive energy to every tournament.
I wish Ireland had some proper investment into the football youth teams and developing players from an early age. We are getting left behind.

The win over Ukraine was far from “surprising”. Ukraine are truly awful and dead on their feet after 2 minutes of the game. England have not “upped” their game. They’re playing the same as they’ve always done but practically every other team in the tournament looked jaded and leggy. I do believe in fate though and maybe this is their time. They’ve played all their games bar one in their own back yard and have been in the weaker side of the draw. There has only been 3 Teams in this tournament, Italy, Denmark & England. The rest have been less than united. It’s a sub standard Euros in terms of brilliance but justice will prevail.

You’re way off! This has been one of the best Euros from an entertainment point of view. Only 3 teams in it?? What about Spain last night? They played great, but lost. Even aging teams like Croatia put up a great fight, so did Portugal, same goes for Hungary vs Germany in the group stages. There has been lots of great football and lots of surprises. The new format at the group stages really improved it.
England only really started trying hard in the last 2 games, before that they were too cautious, so yes they have just upped their game and grown in confidence. I wouldn’t call Ukraine awful, they were just tired from their previous round. They were average at this level.

The facts are that there have been a few entertaining games certainly but the standard has been very average. Spain are a shadow of their former selves and can even find a striker. Germany and Croatia are over the hill. Portugal practically rely on one man. Hungary, Turkey etc are less than average. It was delusional for sure and the looks on the other’s faces was priceless but let him at it. I reckon it was the best possible outcome for whoever else makes the final. A frantic 120 minutes of fast and furious football in the hope they don’t have enough in the tank come Sunday. Best and almost skillfully played game of football I’ve seen and the best tournament in terms of quality I think in ever. Shoulda been the final.
I like the English lads. They’re by and large a decent bunch. But as with Ken Early, I too have ‘Coming Home’ antibodies in my blood.

England only really started trying hard in the last 2 games, before that they were too cautious, so yes they have just upped their game and grown in confidence. I wouldn’t call Ukraine awful, they were just tired from their previous round. They were average at this level.

The facts are that there have been a few entertaining games certainly but the standard has been very average. Spain are a shadow of their former selves and can even find a striker. Germany and Croatia are over the hill. Portugal practically rely on one man. Hungary, Turkey etc are less than average. There has only been 3 real football teams(emphasis on Team) and no stars to light up the tournament. Luckily, the three best team are still there.

PCR test costs for travel abroad will have to be paid for privately and only people recovered in the previous 6 months, will be eligible for the green pass.
EU have stated 9 months for recovery and that the tests would be free (or super cheap).

A frantic 120 minutes of fast and furious football in the hope they don’t have enough in the tank come Sunday. Best and almost skillfully played game of football I’ve seen and the best tournament in terms of quality I think in ever. Shoulda been the final.

Problem is, as of today, there is 275 038 confirmed cases, so what about the other 100 000?? Where is exactly did the 170 k figure come from?
