That was a good scene, alright. My favourite was I don’t want any questions about the tables…

          1. Papi

Have you seen “No Activity”? He’s brilliant in it, and just gets better, even the ‘animated cos of covid” season of it. Well worth a watch.

    1. Daisy Chainsaw

Obviously covidiot conspiraloons are attempting to link it to him getting vaccinated 4 months ago.

      1. SOQ

So you think that these vaccine injuries are only going to happen within a shorter time frame?

Boy are you in for a surprise.

          1. SOQ

I admire you faith in an industry with a long history of corruption and sketchy poo, and a treatment where the long term impacts could not possibly be known.

If the likes of antibody dependent enhancement does become a thing, or indeed there is a large uptake in neurological conditions like Parkinson, I will take no pleasure in being right. In fact, I will be very happy to be proven completely wrong.

          2. Micko

Of course no one can say if Bob’s illness is due to the vax or not.
And we shouldn’t be assuming it is without evidence or words from the man himself.

But, you make a very valid point SOQ.

When the hell did Big Pharma become these organisations that we trust all of a sudden? They have LITERALLY been up tp dodgy stuff for years!!

Here’s a list of some of the biggest lawsuits and settlements – see any familiar names? Pfizer, Astrazeneka, J&J etc

And now they want parents permission to inject kids?
And people think it’s a good idea?

What the absolute F are we playing at

          3. Daisy Chainsaw

            No you won’t.

You’re already giddy at the prospect of someone famous and vaccinated being seriously ill.

          4. Nigel

Every time you take any medicine, you’re trusting Big Pharma, and you’re trusting the regulation and control mechanisms in place to regulate the industry. All the vaccines, innoculations, pain medications, anti-depressants, antii-anxieties, anti-inflammatories, anti-psychotics, decoagulants, heart meds, cholesterol meds, cancer meds, all of it Big Pharma and pharma regulators. If you’re not taking some of it, someone in your family is. So don’t give me goddamn guff about not trusting Big Pharma.

          5. Micko

            Yup. Dead right Nigel.

And all those medicines have gone through YEARS AND YEARS of testing, trials and real world long term data. And yet, they were STILL caught doing dodgy stuff.

Remind me again… which medicines haven’t any of that?

Apples and oranges man. Apples and oranges.

          6. Nigel

But when the doc writes you a perscription you still get it filled. Touching faith in Big Pharma! And yeah, because a highly contagious was spreading all over the world they put all their resources into producing vaccines and the urgency meant that long term testing wasn’t an option. I know you’re one of those medical darwinist survival-of-the-fittest types who figures anyone who doesn’t die will be immune, so let it run its course, but we went with with the idea that modern medical science is, on the whole, beneficial for humanity.

          7. Micko

Yes Nigel. Again, I would only take a medicine that had been through the proper testing and has long term data.

“ I know you’re one of those medical darwinist”

Well, I know when you start into your usual ‘ad hominem’ attacks on someone and their personality or beliefs, instead of dealing with the point they raise , then you have no argument left. You have run out of puff…

Will you call me “far right” next I wonder? Perhaps a Qanon follower? Or a 5G nutter?

            Poor show sir.

          8. Nigel

It’s not ad hom, (though coming from you that’s a bit much), it’s the other side of the stark choice we were faced with. Trust in modern medicine or let the pandemic run its course. You oppose non-medical interventions like lockdown and masks. You also don’t trust modern medicine to make a safe vaccine. You oppose any form of ‘discrimination’ that would exclude people from daily activities due to the danger of infection. Where does that leave you, if not allowing the vrus to run through the entire population and see who’s left standing?

          9. Clampers Outside

In fairness, it is well known and documented on here that the ol’ ad hom is your go-to when you’ve nothing to say. Been pointed out to you numerous times by many different commenters.

          10. Micko

Well, we could have tried protecting and isolating the vulnerable and letting everyone else get it.

Ye know, like literally what the original idea was. Flatten the curve and let everyone get it and there would be a bed available for everyone.

          11. Nigel

‘Been pointed out to you numerous times by many different commenters.’

Usually because they can’t think of anything else to say.

  1. Sten

And covidiot Bodger is fuelling the flame.

Broadsheet contributors might wonder why MSM doesn’t pay it due respect for its journalism. Irresponsible posts like this show why they are right not to.

    1. Conan

You think Broadsheet is journalism ? I’ve always thought of it as just some obese 40-year-old feller tapping away in his spare bedroom between Warhammer breaks.Does it ever get any media exposure?I’ve never seen any.

      1. millie bobby brownie

It does the odd time. A notable example was when Catherine Murphy went head to head with DOB over the high court injunction.

When no other media outlet would touch it, printed Catherine Murphy’s words in full, which the a number of outlets duly reported as a way of getting around the attempt to silence the press.

        1. GiggidyGoo

And the reporting (quite intricate) of Sergeant McCabe’s case against the state. The audacity of Broadsheet eh? To offer a discussion forum that, say, RTE, the Indo, Irish Times don’t.

        2. Janet, dreams of an alternate universe

plus the steady coverage of the baby homes horrible saga

  2. M

Yeah, we should totally ignore any potential cause and effect relationship..

    Because that’s ‘good science’.

    I’m so grateful for Broadsheet.

And if other people are not, then there are plenty of head in the sand media outlets in Ireland.

    Off. You. Go.

    1. Tony

      Ah Now Emmy.

We all know Bodger is all about insinuation and zero accountability. We all know it’s bad science and bad journalism. It’s a wind up. We love it. That’s why we come here!

      Relax thy slacks!

    2. yoji

Yeah, you’re just asking questions. We understand.

343 million doses given, 163 million fully vaccinated in the US. He’s not a person who got a rarely use medicine that should be looked at if something goes wrong. He’s part of the majority of Americans.

The man was given a shot 3 months ago (from the pic in this thread) and you think we should immediately jump to a vaccine as the cause? That’s agenda pushing, no more no less.

    3. George

Bob Odenkirk probably drank a cup of tea or coffee in the 4 months proceeding his collapse. We mustn’t ignore the potential cause and effect.

Literally millions of people have been vaccinated and large numbers are not collapsing so no there is no reason to believe one man collapsing on set has anything to do with being vaccinated. We have literally no idea what happened. Better Call Saul is filmed in New Mexico, often in the desert and Bob usually has to wear a suit and tie and it is July. Maybe the heat got to him.

  3. The Thin White Duck

Oh wow. Just wow. Having been circling the drain for a number of months now, Broadsheet has finally slipped down the plug hole. Visited this page daily for years but I’m outta here.

Oh wow. Just wow. Having been circling the drain for a number of months now, Broadsheet has finally slipped down the plug hole. Visited this page daily for years but I’m outta here.

      1. Blob

it’s a site that you’re using to try deter people from getting a vaccine that can help us out of a crippling pandemic.

        1. Conan

          Klaxon alert – BS does not like criticism.Unless they’re dishing it out of course.Expect Bodger’s usual ” it’s nothing to do with me,guv ” in 3-2-1 …

          1. Ronan

You know that broadsheet is a blogroll right? It also has one of the more open comments sections online.

Bodger is not MSM, he/she/they is free to take whatever editorial line they choose.

It’s a blog, think of these posts as an echo chamber for anti-vaxxers, which serve as a fun deviation from work for the likes of myself to argue against people.

        2. Bodger

I don’t believe the official narrative, Blob, so these are the nature of some of my posts. I think they are pretty restrained given my sincerely-held belief that what is happening is pure evil.

          1. Sten

So Broadsheet is a vehicle to push your narrative? You’ve no evidence that this man is ill due to a vaccine but you’ll insinuate it anyway? You are basically using this site to lie to people.

          2. Bitnboxy

And your evidence for this “evil” (I think you called it “mass genocide” previously) is what you selectively post here? Or are you privy to something we all don’t know about? Something verifiably evil?

          3. Nigel

What virtue is there in restraint in the face of what you believe to be pure evil? If you can’t even commit yourself properly to opposing it, then how are we supposed to find you persuasive?

          4. Sten

That doesn’t make any sense Bodger. You say what is happening is evil but in this case the mans illness is nothing to do with the vax. Why then publish the tweet insinuating it is linked? If you don’t believe it’s linked then your publishing of it is weakening your own position that we are all being hoodwinked. You yourself are contributing to the misinformation you claim others are pushing.

You can’t have every way & maintain any credibility.

          5. Bodger

Sten, but I think it was the vax. It’s being happening a lot to perfectly healthy people.

          6. Bitnboxy

@Bodge If that is the case and you have such compelling and dramatic information, why be coy with all these posts, hinting and suggesting, yet never quite spelling it out? It’s all a bit…basic.

          7. Nigel

‘They will say it has nothing to do with the vax btw.’

What if they do? What if it turns out he’s had a bad reaction? Everyone knows there are chances of bad to severe reactions. But that’s not the point. You’ve already decided that it was, and if they say it wasn’t that will be evidence of a cover-up. That’s a woeful level of evidence, let alone of critical thinking.

          8. Fred

And here I still am, perfusing. Back to the confusion as to whether this is comedy gold or straight up loonery. ‘Sten, but I think it was the vax. It’s being happening a lot to perfectly healthy people.’
ref. I was on a dirty random bender with Mr Odenkirk not so long ago (pre vaccine in fairness) but in my words and his own he is/was far from fuppin perfectly healthy.
            Never again.

          9. George

You think it was the vaccine but you know nothing about the man’s health or the circumstances in which he collapsed. He could have diabetes for all we know, could have been a very hot day on set in New Mexico and he got heat stroke, he might have had a heart attack. There is literally no basis for thinking it was the vaccine or one any of the hundreds of other possible explanations.

          10. Yoji

Bodger, you talked about genocide last week and now you say pure evil. I’ll ask you again who is carryimg out this genocide? Is the genocide from the fake virus or the vaccine? You won’t go into any detail, just throw out the bull and then dodge answers. Why don’t you have the courage to just tell us what you think? Genocide is a incredibly big accusation. Please tell us what you mean? I don’t need a reading list just your opinion with some context. Surly if you believe that genocide is being carried out then it’s quite an important thing. What genocide and who is carrying it out. Don’t need an essay just a one sentence straight answer would do.

      2. Fred

Ah Bodger ffs, say it aint so. Had convinced myself you were king of the wind up merchants, stirrer extraordinaire, master of puppets, salesman exquisite, netflix special on the cards teeth but you telling me now it isn’t such. Wtf happened to my life. Sydney Powell is gonna hear about this and for now thats all I got to say.

  4. fez

My Granny got vaccinated back in the 30’s. The vaccine finally caught up with her and killed her 78 years later

    1. Papi

Crikey, the same happened to mine! Con_spir_acy!!!
Proven beyond a shadow of a doubt now, obviously, I’m sure you’ll all agree, it’s clear or you’ll hang your heads in shame.

  5. Ronan

    Cranks last summer:
“You’re overreporting covid deaths and injuries. Just because someone had covid when they died, doesn’t mean they died OF covid.”

    Cranks this summer:
“All illness and malaise that people suffer from henceforth shall be attributed to Covid vaccines, regardless of whether they are mRNA or otherwise.”

Folks, people collapse, people get sick, people get Parkinsons, people have stuff happen to them all the time.

How is it that more years of scientifically measured peer-reviewed data are required to prove the safety of a vaccine, but a 58 year old man collapsing on set in New Mexico, probably in the middle of busy shooting and 30 degree plus weather, is immediately attributable to a vaccine?

I’m feeling pretty rough right now, 24 hours after my second jab, because my immune system is doing something to me. I’ll let you know in 6 months if I collapse at work and we can all have a rational discussion about how it happened.

    1. SOQ

Or another way of looking at it- even the government has admitted to over counting Covid hospitalisations and fatalities so is it so far fetched that they will do the opposite with vaccine injuries while they are encouraging people to take them?

      1. Ronan

It’s far-fetched unless you believe in a nefarious unseeing hand pushing some sort of great reset agenda.

        1. Cui Bono?

It’s hardly an “unseeing hand” – it’s an open agenda with billionaires and politicians all over the world.

They talk about it openly in interviews and books.

  6. SOQ

‘THIS will go down as the most dangerous biological medicinal product rollout in human history.’

That is the damning indictment of Dr Peter McCullough, the doctor, medical expert, editor of two major journals and accomplished researcher who almost single-handedly has taken on the US medical authorities over their Covid response, first on treatment and latterly on the vaccines, from his interview by Stew Peters last week.

  7. Sten

@Bodger It seems to me that one of the biggest issues we’ll be left with after this passes isn’t BigBrother/GovControl/BigPharma/etc but the number of people who have become so detached from reality that they immediately assume they “know” what’s happened to an individual’s health on the other side of the world without any evidence.

I mean when someone in my family falls ill I wait to hear what they’ve been told by doctors before I “know” what’s wrong with them.

When you are so far gone on the conspiracy spectrum that you “know” the cause here (and that it will be covered up) you really need to take a step back and ask yourself what’s gone wrong.

My recommendation is to ask some people you really love and trust if they think you need some help.

    1. Fred

Climate change be the next incoming ruse, get the funk out of here while ya still can.
For me it is too late.
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come; thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil
