Bild Back Better

Sunday.

“We ask for your forgiveness…”

Julian Reichelt, chief editor of Germany’s largest circulation paper Bild, apologises (text above) for ‘harming society’, especially children, over its coverage of the covid-19 pandemic during the past 18 months.

Couldn’t happen here.

Have to wonder if this is genuine remorse or rats leaving the sinking ship.

Something to do with Reiner Fuellmich and The German Corona Investigative Committee’s Class-Action perhaps?

I’m actually puzzled. Your ability to distinguish emotions through the internet sounds suspect.

Bild has its critics all over Germany, so you know. I wouldn’t take this as THE voice of the people.
He’s right about one thing though, they should be letting kids back in school, some schools had the money to update ventilation systems, but I think teachers unions which are strong here have a lot to do with how strict it is for kids in school. The average primary school teacher is also older here than in Ireland. So maybe they feel more vulnerable?

Let’s face it, there is not one country in the EU that is happy with the actions of their politicians and leaders during the last 2 years.

Genuine question – have any teachers in this country gotten covid from school and died?

Surely it would have been paraded all over the news

A little concerning to hear Robert Malone seemingly confirm (interview with Steve Bannon) antibody dependant enhancement now occurring with the Pfizer vaccine. Let’s hope this isn’t an emerging trend for all our sakes. This is the one thing that could turn this whole pandemic into something extremely ugly. 18 months in and the overwhelming majority of people still have no idea what a cytokine storm is despite the fact they go to the very heart of this entire pandemic. The relative silence on them from the mainstream has always been a big red flag.
