MATERNITY RESTRICTIONS
A low vaccine uptake is claimed as the reason why pregnant women and their partners continue to face restrictions at Dublin’s Rotunda Hospital. Professor Fergal Malone, Master of the Maternity Hospital, joins us on the line now. #IrlAM pic.twitter.com/jj36wFVDrz— Ireland AM (@IrelandAMVMTV) August 12, 2021
Funny the government say 90% of the adult population is vax’d but the rotunda figures don’t match. Have they been caught out lying about statistics again 🤔

Understandably pregnant women are hesitant to allow experimental gene therapy on themselves and their fetus.
… except that vaccines do not change DNA. They are vaccines. Just as other vaccines (against, say, polio or rabies) do not change DNA.
Annie can’t read. The Rotunda weren’t referring to the adult population – they were referring to patients.
Not that I agree with their policy. Knob jockeys
And thats 90% first doses, not fully vaccinated either.
Rotundas patients + partners are going to be mostly in their 20s and 30s who have a much lower fully vaccinated figure due to age – there aren’t many people under 35 that are considered “fully vaccinated” (time after second dose completed) yet except for healthcare workers and J&J recipients.
What do you expect from someone who gets her info from Tracey the Barista-at-law and youth defence blog Grifter meeja.
And you get your information from Bruce Y Lee – and expect to be taken seriously?
Still obsessing over him? I reckon you get more from Brucey than I ever did… which was one article posted several weeks, if not months ago.
Cringing hard for you, Gigg.
Weeks ago. But still it doesn’t lose its appeal to show up your hypocrisy. Looks like you’re obsessed with Tracey whoever-she-is yourself. Sauce for the goose etc.
Pregnant women would be more hesitant to take the vaccine and people having babies would be in their 20s or 30s and less likely to have the same rate of vaccinations as the general adult population. Jesus, it’s not complicated.
What about their partners , why are they so low then ?
Do figures at other maternity hospitals tally or is it a Rotunda catchment area issue ?
Maybe because their partners are roughly the same age….. just a wild theory.
Where are the figures on the vaccination rate of partners? All I can see in this post is that less than 80% of patients are fully vaccinated.
I see it is about 40% for partners.
The age breakdown available groups everyone from 25-49 at 68.9% whereas 50-59 is at 95.2%. 18-24 is at just 40%. There is clearly a steep drop off in numbers vaccinated in lower age groups and we can’t really see detailed data for the age groups having kids to know how far off the average partners of pregnant women are.
With a pregnant partner they probably also aren’t going out to pubs and restaurants so less motivation to get vaccinated could be a factor.
But lets be honest if you think of the thickest people you went to school with and the smartest which group has more kids?

No records by Donnelly’s department on the costs of NPHET?
They don’t get paid beyond their existing salaries and they probably don’t have a budget. As they use existing resources they’d have to do some maths to specific calculate the cost of NPHET. As it is minimal and doesn’t involve additional spend they have no need to do that so would not have a record.
And you know all this…..how?
