And to believe there was no personal responsibility before all this!!

The mask mandate has to change. Masks are simply there to remind us ‘WE ARE IN THE GRIP OF A DEADLY PANDEMIC’… cept we’re not

Wind down from what? That they a bunch of clueless pharma puppets blindly supported the injection of near all of the population with no long term safety data?

The only ‘wind down’ will be from a rope- from the nearest tree.

          1. SOQ

Yes the same boyo who is now arguing that children should wear masks in primary schools?

You were the one who stated he had a serious conflict of interests remember? Which he has of course.

          2. V aka Frilly Keane

To which Luke O’Neill has committed to a full face to face to discuss and take questions on how he and his college lab manage those Conflicts
            No holds barred

As well as how the relationship between pharma money and independent research is monitored and regulated
            Why don’t you join me?
Would you be up for that Sameoh?

He is also committed to doing a show on the science of Botox n’ fillers
            Would that interest you more?

So come on – let’s see you Walk your Talk now

Seriously Broadsheet? You need to take a look at yourselves. Why is this insultingly stupid comment still up?

    Absolutely Frank

50,224 active Covid infections is Ireland right now. (Actual number is WAY higher)

    60 in ICU

    That’s 0.11941724385001%

    So yeah…

  3. freewheeling

So what happens when 90% of the population is vaccinated. Is it all over then? Nope.

    Rinse and repeat:

    https://www.haaretz.com/israel-news/israel-may-deny-green-passports-to-people-who-have-not-received-covid-booster-1.10147312

Any non-“ratlickers” out there starting to smell a rat yet?

These so-called vaccines were only even an expensive short-term therapeutic replacement and a big pharma honey-pot to get us hooked on regular jabs.

Winter’s coming. Let’s see the personal responsibility wind down in action then.

If the possibility of ADE happening (and I really hope it isn’t) this is going to be a dark winter. I’d expect we’ll never see the back of NPHET.

Ask Giggidy! He’s a ton more name-calling and whingin’ posts in the bank about a wide variety of politicians to keep y’all in clover for years.

  5. Shayna

Shayna is a long time friend of Bodger, 30ish years. We are completely different, but friends. I’m kinda all about The GAA, Bodger, not so much. Isn’t this what this site is all about, Goddammit? The difference!

    1. GiggidyGoo

That’s an interesting sentence. “This consistent antivax editorial HAS attracted a disproportionate number of the tin foil commenters to his articles.”

      Disproportionate?
To what? Do you decide what’s proportionate or disproportionate? What’s the common definition of a level of proportion?

Just interested to know in how you can come to such a conclusion.

      1. Man On Fire

What is the percentage of news sites in Ireland who are pro vax versus the percentage which are critical, George?

      2. GiggidyGoo

        Dahling George.
‘The answer to em is obvious from the percentage vaccine uptake in Ireland.’
Really? That’s your own makey uppy definition of proportionality.

Maybe if the likes of the Independent, The Times, RTE etc. allowed comment on their articles, you’d get a better idea of proportionality. What you have here at BS is somewhere where all points of view are allowed to be put forward. It’s your problem if you don’t like them really. Isn’t it great you have somewhere to let your views be known?

Vaxxed or non-vaxxed doesn’t register proportionality of views.

‘Tin Foil’ and ‘Occams Razor’ accusations are the go-to safe havens of people who have run out of arguments.

        Dahling.

      3. GiggidyGoo

Now now – don’t be getting aerated honey. Nothing vague at all. Just pointing out to you that you have a facility, as have others, to post your views here while the mainstream media don’t allow it.

You know, if you want to go down the route of reading only what you agree with, there are plenty of outlets to do so.

      4. Man On Fire

That goes exactly for you George. If you don’t like a contributors piece, toughen up and walk on by..

  6. Shayna

Also, I’ve been in Portugal for a couple of months, it costs a Goddamn fortune either side. I’m double vaxxed, participating in Covid testing, always negative. I don’t have the Goddamned Euro Covid Passport. Ireland are many months behind. Also, I apparently can’t avail of the Euro passport, my jabs were at The Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast. The NHS and the HSE can’t communicate? I’ve met with lots of types from all around europe, in Portugal, they can pull up, their status straightaway.

  7. Slave to the Rhythm

George this pair of contributors have literally nothing better to do than wind people up on the site all day long, every day, and I mean every day… they are so dedicated to it they are here, night, day, weekends, bank holidays…

You’d get more sense out of a cat ….

    1. Slave to the Rhythm

My point was just proved above George… you see what I mean?

If it’s not winding up people it’s narcissism and stalking..

@George, look of course I think you can criticise Bodger if you want, they’re not exactly immune from criticism, and not neutral either, but at least you can see where Bodger is coming from, I personally believe their motives are relatively pure, even if their commitment to objectivity wavers…

  8. Slave to the Rhythm

Bodger is free to post as many anti-vax or whatever viewpoints on his own website as he/she likes….christ what is with people who think they have the right to tell a publisher their job? Get over yourself George.

    1. Slave to the Rhythm

Don’t see the point of your criticism George, it’s not like he/she’s going to pay the blindest bit of notice…

      Nor should he/she

      1. Slave to the Rhythm

I commented further on this above as well George, I realised I was a bit dismissive of you here so sorry about that…. what I was trying to say is that I feel myself Bodger is coming from a genuine place…. some of the other boyos around here, mmmm, not as much…

      2. Slave to the Rhythm

Yes.. thanks George, I accept your point, fair enough, sorry again if I came across a bit harsh…

I’d see what we might call Bodger’s ‘questioning’ being well within as you say, the libertarian tradition and mindset.. some of the other guys just play ‘follow the leader’ here and it’s a bit like the Pied Piper…
