No New World Order, Says New World Order

New world whatnow?

‘What has been happening for a year and a half had been widely announced, down to the smallest detail, by the creators of the Great Reset themselves; just as we were told the measures that would be adopted.

On February 17, 1950, testifying before the United States Senate, the well-known banker James Warburg said, “We will have a world government, whether you like it or not. The only question that arises is whether this world government will be established by consensus or by force.”

Four years later, the Bilderberg Group was born, which has counted among its members characters such as [Italian businessman Gianni] Agnelli, Henry Kissinger, Mario Monti, and the current Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi.

In 1991, David Rockefeller wrote:“The world is ready for a world government. The supranational sovereignty of an intellectual elite and world bankers is certainly preferable to the national self-determination practiced in past centuries.”

And he added: “We are on the verge of a global transformation. All we need is the ‘right’ global crisis and the nations will accept the New World Order.”

Today we can affirm that this “right crisis” coincides with the pandemic emergency and with the “lockstep” outlined since 2010 by the Rockefeller Foundation document “Scenarios for the Future of Technology and International Development,” in which the events we are now witnessing are all anticipated.”

Are all our TDs in on the conspiracy? What about Danny Healy Rae for example? Or is it just the HSE, like the Australian equivalent quoted? What about anti vax GPs?

It’s all very confusing I have to say

      1. E'Matty

No. Most are unaware of anything beyond the veil. They are the gofer class. Power resides in financial centres. Political power sits below and subservient to financial power. There are some though who will be more clued in on this global agenda such as John Bruton, Coveney, Varadkar, Michael D etc.

        1. Sten

So no one in HSE in Ireland is on the conspiracy? They’re all just patsys? Reason I ask is that I know a few people in HSE from school and college and I know them to very smart and independent thinkers. I find it incredible that they would be hoodwinked en masse in this way.

On the other hand, Varadker, Bruton, Michael D hardly seem the types to be part of the overlord class. Isn’t Vradker too craven to public opinion to go along whilst Michael D is someone who has spent his whole life agitating against elites and power (eg Shannon and Mayo).

Again. seems to go completely against the available evidence.

I’m waiting for Queen Elizabeth to do her Christmas speech in her Lizard form before I pick a side on this one.

        1. Micko

          Janet’s one of them!!

          Get her!!!

Or give her all our money…

…I’m not really sure how this lizard overlord thing works if I’m totally honest. ;)

  2. Nigel

‘Nothing says “the new world order is a conspiracy theory” quite like the world’s most powerful corporation’s burying search results for the “new world order” speech beneath a disclaimer saying there’s no such thing as a “new world order.”‘

But it doesn’t say ‘there’s no such thing as a new world order’ it says ‘The New World order is a conspiracy theory which hypothesises a secretly emerging toralitarian world government.’ Which is accurate, even according to the outraged conspiracy theorists going wild about it!

          1. Clampers Outside

He has argued on here that such a stance is a position to be taken in debates, that is, he makes an accusation and the burden of proof, to prove otherwise, is on the accused.

He has stated too that he believes this to be a legitimate debate position…. Guffaw!! :)

You know who has record of pushing that same position on their populace? Communist regimes from USSR to China.

‘Ol Nigel loves a bit of commie authoritarianism, truth be told… or so his history on this site does evidence.

          2. Nigel

Yes, it is funny that the people making extraordinary claims need extraordinary proof in order for them to be taken seriously.

          3. Nigel

No Clampers that’s just the weird version of me you came up with because you can’t hold up your side of a debate, as is a lot of the stuff in your other comment below.

          4. Clampers Outside

            Nonsense!

You went all in, doubled down on it, the day you stated that accusation without proof is a legitimate position in a debate.

And your admission that day has been demonstrated umpteen times since.

It’s not an interpretation, it’s a fact stated by yourself.

Of course, I’d be delighted to hear you’ve changed… But I doubt you it. But as I said, it would be good to hear you have.

          5. Nigel

I’ve found that to you, ‘accusation’ means ‘the implications of the things you are saying that you haven’t or don’t want to contemplate,’ which is when you have to bring a debate to a crashing stop by blabbering about ‘accusations’ because you don’t have any counter-arguments.

          6. Clampers Outside

            More nonsense.

Deny it all you like Nigel… which is laughable. Facts are facts, it’s what you said, no mistaking it :)

        1. Cui Bono?

Nigel, you look but you do not see. You hear but you do not listen.

It’s happening right now in front of you but you are in denial.

    1. ian-oG

I remember a long, long time ago, we are talking the actual start of the world wide web so early 90’s and young ian-oG was all aflutter with this new tech. I had used BBS’s prior to this so the idea of a web browser was mind blowing. As a young student I was fired up and revolutionary and it didn’t take me long to stumble across all sorts of conspiracy theories. As they mixed in real life stuff like MK ULTRA I was hooked, line and sinker, this MUST be true young me thought.

But as time progressed and I got a little older I started to noticed cracks in their narrative. Then I got books like ‘Them’ by Jon Ronson and started to see who and what were pushing these narratives. Everything from the blood line of Jesus to Luciferian rituals and stealing glands from kids. Fast forward to the 2010s up to 2016 and the same tired old shyte is still being pushed by headcases like Alex Jones. Then we had QAnon, a belief that would have us thinking a waste of oxygen like Trump was some sort of hero. I truly pity anyone who expects the person who has shafted the working class his entire life, who looks down his nose at anyone who wasn’t born with a golden spoon stuck up their backside, who is a thin skinned, self aggrandizing, whining clown who only got elected because Democrats were too arrogant and dumb to put an actual mammal up for election.

The reality is that they do not need some vast, secret society to run the world. They already run it FFS. We are seeing the decline of the middle class and the rise of the billionaire class. Most people now in their 20s cannot afford to rent, let alone buy a home, but yeah, lets focus on the nonsensical conspiracy theories.

I’d prefer to deal with real issues thanks, stuff like climate change and the world economy, selling genetically modified single use seeds to farmers in developing countries (thanks Bill Gates and Bono!), water shortages/poverty because Coca Cola have dammed the river upstream and the rise of the far right. But hey, I guess conspiracies are so much more exciting.

I do think its possible that covid was isolated in a lab and then released accidentally. Because a fear based regime like China would have people so terrified of putting a foot wrong politically someone might actually have broken safety protocols to avoid getting entangled with the CCP and as a result we get covid. Only a possibility though, it is possible that it was simply a result of pushing farther in previous wild landscapes or eating stuff that was never on the menu before, but as for it being engineered? No, I find that very hard to believe.

Occams razor has always been my guide for stuff like this and the accidental release scenario or the basic ‘ate an ocelot’ are the more likely scenarios.

      Just my 5 cents.

      1. ian-oG

        * Because the edit function wasn’t available on my post, I wanted to edit the bit above about Trump that starts with:

I truly pity anyone who expects the person…..do anything for anyone other than himself. He has a record of throwing everyone under the bus when it suits him.

      2. Cian

        well said.

And the web was pure mental back in the 90s. Flashing text (blink) and scrolling text (marquee) – it was like a rave! :-)

        1. ian-oG

I remember being about 15 or so and writing a program for the Commodore 64 that made the screen blink from off to a fully white screen and back again, essentially turned your monitor into a strobe light.

Although when I say ‘write a program’ it was up there with ‘Hello World’ in its simplicity, all of about 3-4 lines but it worked and we had a grand old time while the folks were away for two weeks. ;)

      3. Django O'Reilly

This, this, a million times this. Here’s the thing though, there is NO changing anyone’s mind about any of the “shyte” they spout, the fantasy is far too addictive – embracing and believing fiction is the best entertainment there is.

      4. Nilbert

Completely agree. and I would imagine 99% of people feel exactly this way.
Its good to keep that context in mind when wading through the mire on here.

It feels like there’s not much left here these days apart from a handful of shouty anti-public health loons getting increasingly desperate, and a few brave souls willing to counteract their constant hysterical ravings.

      5. Sten

Great post. Thanks for sharing your experience.

I heard a former right wing conspiracist interviewed on radio a while back. He was into the whole idea that They are importing Muslims into Europe to replace the exiting population. He didn’t believe that there were any real refugees and that Syrians etc were being shipped in to Europe by Them.

This interviewee went so far as travelling to Greece to disprove the Mainstream Media, all the time documenting his journey online to the communities he was involved with there. However when he arrived at a Greek island and saw the real suffering of families and children, he realised that all he believed in was lies. He started to post real photos of what was happening and commentary describing it. The community immediately turned against him, calling him a black flag operative etc. It got quite scary for him as people started to track him down IRL to punish him and ‘out’ him for his ‘lies’. He said it took 3 or 4 years to actually process all that he had been through and he had written a book on the experience.

Anyway, I don’t really know why I’m sharing this other than this place seems to attract a good few people that would be classified on the conspiracy spectrum by most other folk and sometimes I think of them and the bloke above experience.

      6. Bodger

Jon Ronson, Charlie Brooker, Dara Ó Briain, even the late Sean Lock, among many others, are the ‘cool’ gatekeepers who ridicule conspiracy theories and theorists and are lapped up by lads like you. They wouldn’t be where they are if they said any different and they perform a vital function for the establishment.

          1. ian-oG

Jon’s book was quite entertaining indeed. But it really just jived what I had already saw while looking into these things.

Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar. If I want to know who is really running the world, I’ll just look at the itinerary for Davos.

      7. K. Cavan

ian-oG, In the early 80’s, Horse Pox, the equine version of Smallpox was eliminated, the virus became extinct.
Some years later, a group of scientists had various pieces of nucleic acid manufactured in different labs, then mailed to them. In their own lab, they put all these pieces together and, voila, Horse Pox was no longer extinct. Samples of it are stored in several labs now.
If Sars02 is zoonotic, it’s only the second effective zoonotic Coronavirus in over 1,000 years.
Gain-of-function research was being conducted on Coronaviruses in two labs, one in the US & the Wuhan Lab, they weren’t “isolating Covid”, that assumes it’s pre-existence.
No Sars02 predecessors can be found anywhere in bats, ocelots or any species anywhere near Wuhan.
For a virus to cross the species barrier isn’t as simple as eating an infected animal infects you, it’s far more complex, involving entirely random RNA mutations arriving at a human infectious variant by chance.
The simplest explanation is that it escaped from the lab, there are far too many barriers to a zoonotic genesis & most scientists I’ve read agree, now that the Social Media corporations have permitted such commentary.
I don’t think William of Ockham would approve of your assertion.

Did you miss this Nigel? Perhaps have a read before you bloviate nonsense – it is now POLICY, not conspiracy

    3. K. Cavan

You seem to be confusing Facts & Opinions, Nigel.
The number of cars exported from Japan in 2021, the size of the National Debt, whether Hydroxychloroquine inhibits the reproduction of Coronavirus 229E in lab cultures, these are facts which can be easily checked in this “Information Age”. Whether something is a “Conspiracy Theory” or simply the observable truth is clearly not subject to a definitive, factual, answer, it’s a matter of opinion.
Fact Checkers are not required for individuals to exchange information & opinions, their imposition is a direct attack on our Democratic principle of Free Speech & undeniably Authoritarian in nature.
The recent controversy about Biden looking at his watch is an objectect lesson in why Fact Checkers are a Bad Idea. As the fact checker who spread disinformation said, in his own defence, he was “trying his best” & was, after all, (only) human & he made a mistake. His original, erroneous statement was retweeted thousands of times, his admission of error was retweeted hundreds of times & Fiction trumped Fact.

      1. Nigel

‘Whether something is a “Conspiracy Theory” or simply the observable truth is clearly not subject to a definitive, factual, answer, it’s a matter of opinion.’

If the elements of the ‘conspiracy’ can not be independently verified as factual and/or rely entirely on the observer imposing a pattern on disparate events that are otherwise unconnected, then it is a ‘theory.’ And as such, rather worthless. A theory is something to be proved. Until it is proved it is idle speculation.

        1. K. Cavan

No, Nigel, proof is not neccessary for something to be accepted as fact. Most of the scientific facts we know are not provable, very little is, in practical terms.
A theory is a proposition that has a wealth of cogent evidence supporting it, the Theory of Evolution is arrived at via the evidence, through deduction & induction, to conclusion.
Every Conspiracy Theory is actually a hypothesis, supported by evidence, by calling it a theory you are inadvertently admitting it’s probable truth.
The idea that nothing is true until proven would leave us with very few truths.

  3. Nigel

I love how you go back to Bush Snr, (why not all the way back to the Protocols Of The Elders Of Zion?) but nobody talks about the public and private interests that gleefully combined to capitalise on a crisis to prosecute wars in the name of The New American Century, considering how that turned out. New World Order? They can’t even manage a New Afghan Government.

    1. Nullzero

Good man Nigel, invoke notions of antisemitism, that stuff hangs around like a bad smell, great for discrediting anything you don’t agree with.

      1. Nigel

Good luck to the sincere believers in a new World Order disentagling that concept from the antisemitism which gave rise to that sort of overarching theory of secret rulers of the world. Good luck to ’em I say. They’d have to acknowledge it first, though, which isn’t likely.

          1. jonboy

To be fair the rise of the New World Order conspiracies since the 80s have been largely down to right-wing evangelists, blaming variously: Freemasons, Illuminati, Satanists or Jews.

          2. Nigel

Any history of conspiracy theories will tell you the degree to which antisemitism was or is a part of them. Partly it’s because antisemities love conspiracy theories especially ones in which rich bankers secretly rule the world.

          3. E'Matty

Rich bankers, Royals, industrialists, etc do rule the world. This is not a secret. Oh wait, did you think the ordinary people rule the world through their elected representatives? How cute…

      1. Nigel

You can call it cretinous but you are incabable of explaining why it is cretinous, just as you are incapable of explaining any of your conspiracy theories, only of intimating vaguely about huge things that are incredibly obvious when you connect a phrase on a website with a few words uttered in a news conference and yet which are completely without shape or substance and whose most concrete product are the feelings of pity provoked in you by other people’s failure to perceive them.

          1. Nigel

Prove what wrong? That the use of the same phrase more than seventy years apart on different sides of the world proves the existence of a secret world government? Maybe you find that credible, I do not.

          2. Nigel

Thats odd, I’m sure I would remember if I had expressed an opinion on whether Epstein killed himself or not. Maybe someone said something in a press conference in Australia and Man On Fire immediately made a series of intuitive lightning-fast connections between disparate events and fragments of speeches given over the course of the last century and then saw a Wikipedia disclaimer on YouTube and immediately knew for a fact that I think Epstein killed himself, my actual thoughts on the subject being irrelevant as an obvious ploy to distract and divert attention from The Truth.

          3. Nigel

I thought you already knew, Man On Fire? Do you make a habit of claiming to know things before actually knowing them?

The answer: I don’t know if he kiled himself or not.

          4. Man On Fire

Ok, so you’re open to the idea that he may not have killed himself..

So, if he didn’t kill himself, is it possible that a very secret but powerful cabal arranged for his disappearance?

          5. Nigel

‘So, if he didn’t kill himself, is it possible that a very secret but powerful cabal arranged for his disappearance?’

I would tend to draw the line at ‘suspicions surround his death’ absent actual proof of anything else.

        1. deano

Nigel, as ever, you are right. You’re by far the smartest and most logical minded person on here, but you are outnumbered by buffoons who can’t even begin to decipher your responses. They see a pile of words. That’s it.

          1. Micko

Ah, but Deano, if he’s the smartest then why is he here arguing with us buffoons every single day?

So he’s either the smartest of a bunch of buffoons, which isn’t very smart at all in the grand scheme of things. (The smartest ape is STILL an ape).

            Or he’s addicted to Broadsheet…

            You decided King Nigel

            Heh heh

          2. deano

ah jaybs Micko.. id say he’s just tryna explain to yous what’s really goin on. And all he gets back is “yea whatever mate, George Bush is just back the moon and he’s making a covid nuclear bomb in the Queens Z-Day bunker. Watch this clip of Justin Bieber blinking like a lizard in morse code and then tell me Bodger is wrong”

          3. Clampers Outside

The smartest… a dude who believes a woman has a penis; sex is on a spectrum; a man/woman can actually change sex; believes pre-verbal (<2 yrs) infants are aware of gender and can be observed rejecting it; that a college Professor behind the 'Satanic Panic' redeemed themselves when they backed child transition; believes puberty blockers are harmless… and in and on and on the crazy stuff goes that this guy believes in.
This is your "smartest" guy? Really?

Raise your bar man, raise your bleedin' bar! :)

          4. Oro

Out of interest, from what websites do you get your transphobic media? Mumsnet / Reddit / Twitter / other / all of the above?

            What motivates your transphobia?

          5. Oro

Are you talking to moi J? What have I said that is misogynistic?

I’m thinking back, our interactions have mainly been where I find factual fault with something you’ve said, are you counting that?

          6. Clampers Outside

Factual fault, lol! :) Gender idealogues claiming to be purveyors of facts is up there with flat earthers claiming proof of their beliefs. Science deniers all.

          7. Oro

@CO – the ‘factual fault’ comment was to Janet, you’ve misunderstood. I’m not sure what you’re talking about re flat earthers (?).

          8. Janet, dreams of an alternate universe

more that you always use mumsnet as an insult ( disclaimer I’m not a member )

          9. Oro

Ok I don’t think you understand the context. Mumsnet is known for a series of incidences where it would be infected by large numbers of bad actor transphobic trolls masquerading as ‘concerned mothers’ in order to spread panic / misinformation in the typical posting population there. This resulted in a kind of change in the site from its original form (mums on the net) to a paranoid / troll driven anti trans mess.

I know you love to do so, but I really wish you wouldn’t jump to conclusions. There’s more than an ounce of homophobia in how quick you were to accuse me of misogyny, when you didn’t even understand the terms of what I was talking about x.

When I suggest clampers is active on mumsnet, it’s in the form of a troll or one that joined to engage in the trolling, not that I think your average mum on the web is a transphobic monster.

          10. Oro

I find the way that you bring trans people into a discussion in a way that is derogatory towards them to be transphobic. You’re trying to draw negative conclusions about Nigel’s credibility based on his beliefs about and support for trans issues (the same ones that are core beliefs of the trans community and part of their general political manifesto) therefore casting those in a negative light, therefore you are transphobic.

I think it’s plain as day.

          11. Micko

I don’t think they work for anyone Frank.

I think they are as lost and confused as the rest of us. Myself included

I suppose we all know that dodgy stuff is going on, and we could probably use the Broadsheet community to do SOMETHING useful (maybe) but we’re all too stuck in our own crap and too afraid of being seen to be wrong that none of us will do anything.

All of us agree that there are problems, but we completely divided on who the culprits are.

Left or right, it’s all absolute sh**e

So we just go around and around, trying to get one up on each other.

I know I’m as bad as everyone else, but we all probably talk to each other more than anyone else outside of our own families and we don’t do anything with it.

            Seems a waste of potential.

Anyway, that’s just how I’m vibing lately.

          12. Fergalito

Nail on the head Miguelo – chumps be chumpin’ as my imaginary friend says ALL the time.

Can we leave it at that – all of the Pro-Vax/Anti-Vax stuff – and move on to pastures new? Consider the die rolled, the house always wins anyway.
            Will we have another go?
If it’s not black this time it’ll be black the next time, unless it’s red. Definitely.

what is cretinous bodger, is believing that you are not already owned in pretty much everything you do and think. seriously, if you really wanted to get away from the clutches of babylon, then go off grid; grow your own food, clothing and medicines and stay the fark away from the internet.

        1. ian-oG

If I was to posit another theory, a conspiratorial one no less, I’d say the people running the world are the ones who are promoting these theories. Because once you deflate the theories with some actual facts it plants doubt in peoples mind and then you can get up to all sorts of mischief and just brush off any accusations as being little more than conspiracy theories.

Then you can move onto to decimating the comfortable middle classes by driving them into huge debt and keeping them fearful and afraid of homelessness and lack of medical care.

As for the traditional ‘working class’, keep them riled up about immigrants ”tukkin dere jabs” because its the immigrants who are paying slave wages and absolutely no, no sir, not at all the people who are running things.

Yes, lets blame the poor people with zero power for all our ills, that’s a great idea. It will never lead to a first world power bowing out of the greatest free trade zone in human history to end up not having enough peri peri chicken.

But hey, if people want to think ”they” are stealing kids glandular excretions that’s cool too. Nuts, but cool.

          1. scottser

true for ya. those who keep the hegemony enjoy a plentiful supply of stooges, shills and idiots to do their work for them. the gas thing is, folks think it’s some shady cabal working behind the scenes to enslave you when it’s actually blindingly obvious who these people are, what they represent and how they go about their business.

          2. V aka Frilly Keane

            same here IanO

Now in fairness I do believe many of the MAGA Q Followers truly believed that Deep State Cabals were out to get them, and sabotage Democracy
They didn’t deserve to called “deplorable” or hear another 1st lady say “when they go low we go high”
Or that they came from towns that didn’t have book stores
Its so easy to understand why the Proud Boys, Oath Keepers and NSC131 plus others were considered the real deal Patriots
Same now with the AntiVax activists & rallies, and before them t’was the Election was Stolen brigades

I honestly do think there are large numbers who make up that population, and its in the millions btw, who are genuinely convinced, and are only guilty of being easily led by simplistic rhetoric, people that wore their buttons on their chests begging to be pushed

As far as I am concerned many of those people are victims

The Conspiracy I am most likely to believe is that Dark Money lies underneath it all
and the more I’m collecting and absorbing from the legal cases
and the financial investigations and PAC etc Audits
            the more I am convinced

I am pretty certain two particular very high profile ‘Public Officials’ will see out their last days in Federal Prison
and everything they have ever owned will be seized, everything
there will be more that two, if I am right btw
but these two I have in my head are only front men for the real dark side.
Well that’s what I think anyway.

            Also in all that
between the gullible innocents and the Dark Money as I’m going to call it
were the middle management type entrepreneurs
they saw many openings for business opportunities
whether it was YouTube subs, Podcasting, tshirts, election / PAC fundraising, legal fundraising, conference organising
and now medial advice and ‘supplements’ sales

no matter what side or view you’re at today
            tis all fecked up

          3. Nigel

‘Its so easy to understand why the Proud Boys, ‘

Yes. They’re nasty little neo-Nazis who were bred out of the racism, ignorance and entitlement of the right. Why the hell is it so hard to put the responsibility for these people’s behaviour on themselves and their fellow idelogues? Blaming two stray phrases from people they hate for the entirety of the modern right is risible.

          4. V aka Frilly Keane

Because they had nowhere else to go

            and you know this Nigel
            if you weren’t a Clinton/ Obama/ Clinton again voter
or even needed convincing to vote Dem

that’s what you were left with
and if you’re going to be called deplorable
shur that’s where you were going to dig your heels into

I think these groups are every bit as odious as you do
but a huge constituency of US voters were given no other alternative
and they were aggravated and riled up
exhausted from 2 / 3 jobs no healthcare etc
watching others sail their kids through the colleges of their choice

            so stop being so narrowminded

          5. Nigel

No choice but to become neo-Nazi Proud Boy? No choice but to think Hilary Clinton was getting child sex slaves from a pizzareia? No choice but to vote for the party that started the wars in the Middle East and crashed the global economy? This must be some new definition of no choice I’m not familiar with.

          6. Bodger

Nigel, you are the ‘baddies’. Perhaps you’re only beginning to twig that now, but don’t get all angry and incoherent with me. You’ve made your bed. Go back to sleep.

          7. V aka Frilly Keane

            ok suit yourself Nigel

I’ve no intention of going toe to toe with you
you are just too intolerant to recognise that the everyday people
who just want everyday lives, and want them to be a bit easier
people from all walks of life who want to have some trust in their own political choices
are being dragged into your arguments, and painted with the same colour brushes alongside the worst of the worst

and I don’t think they deserve to be part of the blame for what we saw unfold in the US over the last 12 months

and I’m not hanging around for that

besides, I simply don’t have your stamina, nor the stomach, for this whole horrid scene

          8. Nigel

That would mean something coming from someone who could articulate a coherent moral position based on actual real world events.

          9. Nigel

That’s fine, Frilly, I just think the people who faced all the same choices and conditions and limitations – and given Republican efforts to deprive black people of their voting rights, worse – but who don’t resort to neo-Nazism or the neo-confederacy or anti-vaxx and/or Qanon conspiracies and who didn’t vote for someone as obviously terrible and destructive as Trump deserve some consideration, too.

          10. V aka Frilly Keane

ultimately people just want to belong and be with people they share something with
            its natural
and when huge swathes of citizens
and we’re talking in the millions here
from all walks of life, communities, faiths, interests, ethnicities, and politics find themselves ostracised by their Political Leadership
its an inevitable outcome they will revert to another side
whether they accept the title of deplorable or not

also worth mentioning is that large swathes of these citizens were already isolated and abandoned, so a vacuum was present and Q and the likes convinced them

what is happening now, and you yourself are exploiting it as well
are that people are after being ringfenced into a cluster alongside unhealthy activists and extremists, purely because they needed to be somewhere where they felt someone had their back, or even shared something in common with

Its clear not all of Trump’s 74 million plus voters wear the same t-shirt
or go around wearing body armour
So I don’t think its too much to ask you to recognise that

            as for voting rights
I completely agree, its foul and insulting to any genuine political and cooperative activist
however the root cause of that failure in ‘Mericka is their election and voting apparatus
its is totally broken and not fit for purpose
If its of any interest – its a too long promised stay tuned btw, just haven’t got around to putting it together

and there are too many weak and insincere politicians perfectly happy to make the most of its dilapidation
and the two main parties are equally to blame
that FEC is rotten and as for their state by state “Secretary of State for the State of….”

Get that right, and America will eventually come round to what will pass as a functioning democracy

          11. Nigel

Except that given their electoral system, Republican voters are over-represented. it’s the more liberal part of the electorate who are politically under-represented and constantly having their wishes and interests thwarted or reversed by an electoral minority with disproportionate power. They’re the poeple isolated and abandoned, reviled by Republicans (who claim to be the ‘Real Americans’) and let down by leaders who won’t stand up to Republicans. They’re the people not turning into neo-Nazis or voting for Trumps. Instead, they’re protesting police violence, trying to out-organise voter repression, gettng vaccinated and wearing masks. But they’re the bad guys?

          12. V aka Frilly Keane

its not just the system Nigel
its the entire infrastructure engaged to get America’s Votes
            and count America’s votes
            at every level
plus the inconsistent electoral register rules, even within the same constituency

            its completely dilatated, and underfunded
            in fact it is derelict
            and not fit for use

            anyway, night Nigle
            you work away lad
I’ve said all I need to say

          13. bisted

…still at it Nigel…still an apologist for your flavour of yank…dems good:reps bad…both can’t be right…but both can be wrong…Trump didn’t start any new wars…an awful lot of children alive today that would be dead under crooked Hillary…shame…

      3. Nilbert

Bodger, you seem to be in a constant state of eye-rolling and feeling sorry for all the sheeple who are so beneath you.

Broadsheet is swallowing itself up its own arse.
I’m sure there’ll be a new Broadsheet equivalent along any day now without all the lies, fake news, and blatant Q style propaganda.

        1. Bodger

Nilbert, I’ve never patronised our readers in the way you allege. I have an excellent relationship with the vast majority of them them going back to 2010, sharing births, marriages, divorces, deaths, rehabs, you name it. They are great people. The trolls are not operating in good faith and I’m happy to call them out.

‘Broadsheet is swallowing itself up its own arse.’ Do you think knowing what I know that I have a choice in this? You would the same I hope.

          1. Nilbert

Of course you patronize people! You literally typed this in the same thread ‘Nigel, this is so cretinous I feel sorry for you.’

I could not care less about your excellent relationships with whoever since whenever by the way. You are posting dangerous misinformation constantly. The clearly manipulative methods you use, conflating two non-related stories being a favorite, makes it hugely unlikely that you are sincere. Otherwise why all the mendacious editing to serve your narrative? It’s pure troll bait.
“Do you think knowing what I know that I have a choice in this?

Get over yourself lad, and your hero complex. If it was real, you wouldn’t need to post so many fake headlines and hacked quotes

          2. Bodger

Nilbert, Nigel is a troll acting in bad faith so I give him the respect he deserves. A hero complex? Enduring 18 months of sustained abuse from angry normies like you without walking away is, in its way, mildly heroic. You wouldn’t last a week.

    2. K. Cavan

Yes, no doubt the term New World Order displays the arrogance of those who control the West. Authoritarianism will be imposed by those elites only on the areas they control, the Taliban will impose their own version on the region known as Afghanistan.
As for your ludicrous assertion that “nobody talks” about modern Western Imperialism, get real.
We’re now concerned that those same public & private interests are waging an ideological war on their own people, something which elicits your almost wholesale support, apparently & like it or not, their historical abuse of the rest of the planet has to take a back seat because we’re having to defend ourselves, now, against the rabid political & public health fascism you seem to like so much.

      1. Nigel

Of course people talk about western imperialism and its consequences – just not in the context of the ol’ New World Order taking over the world – it can’t even take over Afghanistan.

    3. E'Matty

“They can’t even manage a New Afghan Government”. Nope. Once again buying their narrative. Afghanistan has been handed back to the Taliban. They have also been provided billions of dollars worth of equipment. The troops are being brought home as that is where the next war will be. Watch in the coming weeks as the Taliban are rebranded as allies against ISIS-K.

  4. Daisy Chainsaw

It’s all being organised in the basement of a pizza restaurant that doesn’t have a basement (wink wink). Trump will save us…

    ..

    ..

    Go Texas!!

    1. ian-oG

Maybe they meant the upper floor of Pizza Express in Woking?

I believe its quite humid in there, you’d need a special ability not to get all sweaty.

    2. V aka Frilly Keane

that case is going to be interesting to folly
Hon the US Justice Dept btw

      c’mere Daisy
I know you folly me on the twitter, so maybe I should take this there
but remember back when Trump was being sworn in that time
      and all the PussyHat marches

I’m pretty sure the longest – as in time to pass and head count
      was the one in Houston
I’m sure I remember the supporting footage and news saying there were more people at the Houston PussyHat March alone than at Trump’s Inauguration ceremony in front of the Capitol

      anyone else?

  5. V aka Frilly Keane

Here we go again, fair play drumming up another Storm
you’d miss oul Sydney and the Kracken and the Shamen n’ all the praying medic n’ all the lads all the same

Internet isn’t the same without them

      1. ian-oG

I dunno, they were entertaining? I also felt immense schadenfreude watching them fail again and again in their court challenges.

      2. V aka Frilly Keane

        Ah you would
all we’re getting from the ‘Merkian ‘watch’ accounts these days
are court papers and charge documents
and nasty videos of them mocking school kids

Did you see there overnight one of the Trump’s WH senior advisors is after getting charged for ripping off the Covid support scheme in one of his business’ (and where there’s one – ye know yerselves)
I’ll say it again, one thing the ‘Mericans get right is how they pursue and prosecute white collar crime. This lad will be crucified

Dying to know what they’re getting in the Grand Jury room there in New York on Trump Inc
Any goss there on the ground Johnny? BTW the sister says Manhattan is dead, it’ll never be the same again. Thoughts

I have a feeling the scale of it might shock some people
even thinking of it now, I feel quite nauseous
but then I’m a sugar lump when it comes to corruption
particularly in Politicians and the Public Sector
I’ve no tolerance or patience for it

    1. ian-oG

Precisiely ce and the likes of Jeff Bezos is working hand in hand with the \Chinese government via their allegedly ‘independent manufacturers” to ensure we get our plastic tat in a timely fashion and China gets lot of lovely western dosh. Him, Jack Ma of the famous ”lucky to be worked to death” quote and many others only too happy to concentrate on amassing massive, immoral levels of wealth selling us stuff we probably didn’t need in the first place.

To be fair though, those silicone sheathes for making pristine poached eggs are a godsend!

      1. Mr T

On the contrary – the Chinese are undergoing a strong nationalist cultural shift right now.
As the cheap-as-chips manufacturing goes to Vietnam and Indonesia instead, China is growing an educated middle class.

People with abhorrent wealth like Jack Ma are disappearing in China – the party has new goals, and those goals are to not end up with the empire collapsing like in the US. Which is why culturally, the PRC are doing their best to restrict western influences – videogame bans for teens, ban on foreign teachers, for-profit education, and any media that promotes bad role models – including wealthy celebrities and “effeminate men”.

China are putting China first, and the current Western World Order don’t like it.
The US MIC needs another conflict – a war with China ticks a lot of boxes for a lot of people.

    2. E'Matty

Nope. The rise of China has been developed by the same western financial interests (as were both the Nazis and Soviets, see the writings of Professor Anthony C. Sutton). The Rockefellars have been in China since the late 1800s whilst organisations like the Yale in China “school” also play a key role, Yale being the elite college with the Skull and Bones fraternity being a key feeder and vetting organisation for the New generations coming through, the prime feeder also the CIA and Naval Intelligence. Between 1919 and 1920, future Chairman Mao Zedong had several encounters with the Yale in China school: he edited its student magazine, re-focusing it on “thought reorientation,” and operated a bookshop out of its medical college. Kissinger and Co helped oversea the last few decades and rise of China. There’s lots more to say on this but about to board a flight now so got to kill the phone.

  6. Fergalito

Call it what you like but basic human nature – in a capitalist, money- centric society – will bring out the worst in humanity, specifically the 0.1% profiting. The reason why we have a minimum wage is because workers would be paid less (or nothing at all!) if the market was left to decide it. We’ve all witnessed how the market has screwed up this country over the years. In much the same way that we have political lobbyists and sleveen-ism in Ireland it does not take a huge leap in the imagination to amplify that outside of our modest, local power-structure and understand that backs are slapped, plans are made and policies implemented that facilitate the rich getting richer, greed begetting further greed while the rest of us get on with it.

Who was it – Socrates? – that said one question, while it may be answered, will also beget further questions. The so-called intellectual elite – well, they’re not intellectual so much as “ideas” men and women of limitless means and influence- by virtue of their successes will beget opportunities for further successes and eventually spiral into the darker recesses of their natures in progressing their aims.

It’s not a New World Order – it’s the current order of things. Money as they have said for centuries and centuries is the root of all evil.

    1. Chris

No there is no conspiracy, just policy being enacted in real time, you can even read the policy but no, some people are too intellectually lazy to do even that. Far easier to shout ‘lunatic’ whilst it is the trained rabid dogs that are the ones howling at the moon.

    2. E'Matty

Conspiracy requires secrecy. This is not a secret..They literally spell out their plans for the world (e.g. the Great Reset and UN Agenda 21). The problem is people like you are waiting for the Irish Times or the Guardian to tell you all about it before it becomes “real” for you.

  7. Formerly Known As @ireland.com

Is everyone OK? Saying new world order is like saying it is a sunny day. It means something simple but you can decide it means something else if you are nutty. Geeze, I can’t believe I am wasting time explaining that. I am wasting less time arguing with conspiracy theorists on this site and life is much better. I don’t know why Nigel bothers – I agree with everything he says but it is a waste of time.

      1. Eoin Foot

        Australia?
It’s been a prison camp for a century or more.
Their citizens are not descended from convicts but from prison guards.
It’s why they can’t get to sleep at night until someone makes the sound of a bunch of keys being rattled.
And the first thing they do in the morning is slop out their bed pans.

        1. Eoin Foot

Talk to the average Ocker and he thinks Jason and Kylie are from the Montague and Capulet families.
Culture to them is what grows on a piece of Stilton.

  8. Formerly known as @ireland.com

Wow. Bodger and other vulnerable people post rubbish about a New World Order and it is up to Nigel to prove it is wrong. That is some crazy rubbish right there. Kerry Chant is a bookish medico. She can’t even look after her glasses (I watch these press conferences every day) and because she says three normal words in a row, you people decide it means that the Great Reset (and all the other nutty rubbish) is real? I don’t know why Nigel and others bother. btw, I am pretty sure I saw Kerry Chant smiling on the morning of the 11th of September, 2001. She smiled before the planes hit, so that proves she was part of the conspiracy to use the attack to cause a 20-year war that the Americans would lose, so they could start the NEW WORLD ORDER by releasing a deadly virus!

      1. Fred

Wow indeed, very refreshing to see you out from behind the editing desk of late, Clark Kent esque.
Hot tip! (if it somehow you missed it) Denmark’s announcement re restrictions today, is a direct result of Queen Margrethe the seconds unquenchable thirst for pizza. ‘Here we go’
