This afternoon.

Trim county Meath.

Tanaiste and Fine Gael leader Leo Varadkar on the roof of Trim Castle Hotel with Trim Castle in the background, speaking to the media on the first day of the party’s think-in, alongside Minister of State for Civil and Criminal Law Hildegarde Naughton (in yellow) and Minister of State for Business, Employment and Retail, Damien English (above left).

All the big hitters.

Anyone else think it looks like Leo is holding a little green g-string in that first pic :-p

I’m not sure she knows herself! – It pains me to look at her Twitter page but she describes herself as “Minister of State, attending Cabinet, with responsibility for International & Road Transport & Logistics. Also serving as Minister of State at @DeptJusticeIRL”

Essentially she gets in as many photo ops as possible in the hope some people think that is actually doing some work.

Just look at the Blueshirts in Trim.
With confidence, full to the brim.
    Though the meeja have locked-on
    To Hildegard Naughton
Saying her TV performance was grim.

Boy looks older than his other mammy.

Has she confirmed her absence from the Zappone job celebration yet?

no surprises there, always someone else’s fault innit?

Transport, Tourism & Sport – “not my fault, it was already broken before I got there”
Health – “not my fault, it was already broken before I got there”
Social Protection – “not my fault, it was already broken before I got there”
Taoiseach – “not my fault, it was already broken before I got there”
