Diarmaid O’Cadhla, Angela Ray and a few more absolute charmers spreading this on facebook. Heasman & co will probably be selling tees at it too.

        1. Cui Bono?

Who are these people you follow?

Most of us have no idea who they are and yet you always try link us to them. I’ve never heard of any of those you mentioned.

          1. Nigel

Don’t you want to know who is organising the protests? How come your thirst for disclosure and accountability meets a brick wall when it comes to that sort of detail?

          2. SOQ

@Cui Bono? Guilt by association doesn’t work if you have no idea who you are being associated with.

And that is the control game- pick the most extreme, possibly false flag- and insist everyone else is like them.

As tactics go, its as old as the hills.

          3. Truther

Nigel personally I would rather NOT know about the existence of such people.
If anything I’d say a lot of them are only doing this to GET negative attention from the likes of Daisy and Bodger

          4. Nigel

I think they should always be careful to check the organisers of the protests they promote because you never know when it might turn out to be BILL GATES.

    1. f_lawless

Daisy, you’ve previously said on here that you work in the public sector and yet you frequently leave comments at any given hour of the day always with the usual ad hominems. The obvious assumption is that you’re getting paid to do so

      1. Ronan

Welcome to the modern workplace. Breaks are taken at one’s desk and not just walking outside or to the canteen.

I’ll make about 2 euro replying to you. And I earned about 15 euro feeding the ducks this morning too.

No issue with Daisy or any other public sector employee taking a 5 minute mental break on broadsheet.

        1. f_lawless

@Ronan Mental break or mental breakdown? From what I’ve seen, the person behind the Daisy Chainsaw account only comments on here to spew bile at others. There’s never honest attempt at engagement. It’s not behaviour conducive to improved mental well-being.

          1. Ronan

You must be reading different comments to me. I only see her making counterpoints to statements that are presented.

Anyway, the old rules of interweb apply, play the ball and not the (wo)man.

His/Her use of state, company or personal time in no way negate anything said.

          2. f_lawless

Ronan that has to be the most ridiculous comment I’ve read in a quite a while. You can’t genuinely believe that the person whose comments amount to little more than personal attacks, persistantly using of terms of abuse like “ratlicker, conspiraloon, anti-vax, etc” is only “making counterpoints”.

Did you just beam through from an alternate reality or something? “Play the wo(man) not the ball” The irony! Get outta town with your gaslightling

          3. f_lawless

            thanks Poor oul divill

..apologies Ronan in my haste, I misquoted you. meant to write “Play the ball and not the wo(man)l”

      2. Dell

So people who spend a considerable amount if their life looking up conspiracy theories and commenting on here are questioning someone who comments on her, about the amount of time they spend commenting on here ? Really?

    2. Mr.T

      who?

Ironic that the only person aware of who these people are, are those vocally against them.
Almost as if you have to big up your enemies to improve your own perceived ego for fighting valiantly against them.

      1. Nigel

It’s not so much ironic as an interesting blind spot in the people promoting and supporting the protests.

    3. John

The low life dregs of society continue to be given free publicity by BS.

If BS ever had a reputable image it is down the toilet now.

I wonder what local politician’s door or GP’s home they will turn up at to intimidate them?

          1. GiggidyGoo

Ah, the old time-watcher exit strategy. I have my days work done long before your forty-fifth fart of the day

          2. Bitnboxy

Ha! Except those aul night shifts at the port aren’t doing your mood any good mad auld lad Giggz! But I do love those night shifts for you. I will tell you something for nothing – you better be engaging in some serious graft directing trucks or whatever you are told to do because you appear to spend your free time bone idle bashing the keyboard all day.

What time are you clocking on later?

  2. Nilbert

Is Broadsheet the only Irish website actively promoting this toxic far-right misinformation?
I only drop in occasionally nnow to see if the same ghouls are still bleating, rolling their eyes increduously that no-one can see ‘the truth’, and generally posting the same tired comments day in day out.

Meanwhile, in the real world, people have moved on. we are successfully getting a hold on the virus in this country, and so are gradually returning to normal. In the real world, people are proud that we responded wih empathy, made huge sacrifices as a society, and are optimistically re-emerging as restrictions are being lifted.
On here, the eternally enraged are hissing and scratching from their bunkers, frantically grasping to their delusions. Shameless as ever….wrong AS EVER.

    1. SOQ

As we head into another flu season I must book mark this comment- under the header of naivety. If you think this is anywhere near over then you are in for the mother of all surprises.

Side stepping stupid passports is one thing- but injecting children is a red line for many, and that hasn’t even started yet.

      1. K. Cavan

Opposing discrimination, segregation, bio-security authoritarianism & using children instead of animals in drug trials.
        The standard “far-right” interests, GiddyGoo.
At least for folks who reckon the political agenda of the 1% deserves to be turned into a religious dogma & that State removal of Human Rights is Humanitarianism.

        1. Nigel

For people who like to look into the dark doings behind public facades, you sure are suddenly fixated on taking this at face value.

    2. Cui Bono?

      Empathy, haha are you joking?

Where were you when we were trying to stop the biggest fraud of our lifetime?

You were at home panicking about a virus with an average IFR of 0.15%. You were fooled and now you’re choosing to ignore the evidence.

      1. K. Cavan

That’s the problem we’re seeing manifesting in the irrational anger of these Covidiots. To disagree with their TV Science contains an accusation of gullibility.
The Culture of Compliance looks bad if anyone even questions it.

    3. bisted

…you haven’t missed much Nilbert…horse wormer seems to have replaced hocuspocusquinine as the remedy of choice and even the ratlickers are getting vaccinated…Bodger has gone that far right that he might reappear on the left…

      1. K. Cavan

        Nobel prize-winning horse wormer, bisted.
I assume you’ll stop taking antibiotics, since they’re also used on animals?
You know that humans are mammals?
You know why the trials that mRNA therapies failed were Animal trials?
        No, probably not.

        1. Daisy Chainsaw

I can get liquid paracetamol for the dog, but I wouldn’t take it as a replacement if yer wan behind the counter wouldn’t give me Panadol.

          1. GiggidyGoo

You can also get Gaviscon for the dog. VET gives you the prescription, and you get it filled – at the Pharmacy. Same stuff. Mind you don’t get an upset stomach – you might end up being prescribed DOG MEDICINE.

          2. V aka Frilly Keane

            Did you know
            True story btw

            Years ago now obviously
When the hound was still a pup
She got stung by a wasp

            The ear blew up
Twas like a tennis ball was stuffed inside it
And she was whimpering and shaking like puppies do
I was down the ‘van so loading up to get her to a vet wasn’t ideal

So I gave her a spoon of Calpol
            And it worked
20 minutes later she was running around like a f’n ejejit again

          3. Bitnboxy

Lol. I’d wager d’aul GiggidyGut has seen it’s far share of Gaviscon in its day. I just hope GiggidyGums is not a dog-owner – Yikes!

        2. bisted

…all the cleverest boys and girls in my time were revered…they didn’t all do medicine but to do so you had to be the brightest of the bright to be a medic…I trust them impeccably…the vets…dentists…physio’s…nurses…coroners…doctors…surgeons…porters…cooks…

  3. nelly

About 10 of them stand there every Saturday with placards saying Leave our children alone. I heard them commenting as to why no one was joining them. Haaaaaa.
