Gulp.
Gearoid Whelan of Whelan’s, Maiden Street, Newcastle West, Limerick.
No need for the language.

Does he serve Quarreeeessss!!!
Good man Gearoid!
Disgraceful ignorant man Gearoid. Completely ignoring the science.
He is, of course, 100% correct. The average anti-vaxxer has little to no education, can barely read the posts in their anti-fluoridation/vaccine/abortion Facebook groups they are in. This is the only language they understand. Well done

“The anti-vaxxer has little or no education”.
Sorry to point out your ignorance but the opposite is true.
Think you need more ‘education’.
August 2021.
“But according to a new paper by researchers from Carnegie Mellon University and the University of Pittsburgh, this does not paint the full picture. The researchers analysed more than 5 million survey responses by a range of different demographic details, and classed those people who would “probably” or “definitely” not choose to get vaccinated as “vaccine hesitant”….
But more surprising is the breakdown in vaccine hesitancy by level of education. It finds that the association between hesitancy and education level follows a U-shaped curve with the highest hesitancy among those least and most educated. People with a master’s degree had the least hesitancy, and the highest hesitancy was among those holding a Ph.D.
What’s more, the paper found that in the first five months of 2021, the largest decrease in hesitancy was among the least educated — those with a high school education or less. Meanwhile, hesitancy held constant in the most educated group; by May, those with Ph.Ds were the most hesitant group.
So not only are the most educated people most sceptical of taking the Covid vaccine, they are also the least likely the change their minds about it…

Have you seen the spelling on most of the antivaxx protest signs?
Ha!
The classic Divide and Conquer strategy has worked so well on the ignorant masses.
You reckon? Dream on Qwerty123, you’re a blowhard.
How much science have you picked up from your TV?
Want to debate me on virology?
I like to show off my hard-earned knowledge, as others here will attest, with a groan.
You’ll find that the people on this site who disagree with you & that ignorant pig of a publican are far better informed than you.
Lol, I wonder after 22nd is it legal to refuse admission based on medical info?
All the rathkeale locals will be down to get refused on vax cert basis and go to court for some €€€€€
That is a campaign of letter writing to the Data Commissioner urging her to make a statement on the issue as without a law to back it up, there are serious GDPR implications about the divulging and storing of such medical information.
Personally, I think she will be forced to do so.
No there aren’t. More rubbish from SOQ
I have done some work on GDPR but not an expert like you obviously- time will tell.
Hey me too.
I’m satisfied with the lawful basis established https://www.hse.ie/eng/gdpr/data-protection-covid-19/data-protection-impact-assessment.pdf#page33
I did actually review this when it came out.
If there’s any GDPR point you’d like to refute in section 8 I’m always open to schooling – I might learn something from you.
States that while they were satisfied a lawful basis was already explicit in GDPR (my preconceived notion prior to reading it) they decided to back it up with legislative actions regardless.
Reclaim Your Right to Privacy: Data Commissioner Campaign- Tracey O’Mahony
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tohc5TNYvRg 27 mins long.
Your response to me posting the Data Protection Impact Assessment and asking you to use your GDPR knowledge to critique it is a YouTube video?
Anyway, you can read the DPC’s comments already:
‘ Reliance on vital interests as a legal basis is less likely to be appropriate for larger scale processing of the personal data of multiple individuals – it’s more likely to be appropriate in individual emergency situations. Nevertheless, Recital 46 GDPR does suggest that vital interests could be an appropriate legal basis for larger scale processing on humanitarian grounds in the context of a situation such as an epidemic or disaster.’

December 2019 – prepandemic view on the use of vital interests in an epidemic.
They thought of this in the legislation, and it probably allows them to monitor you to protect others, or vice versa.
My reason for posting a video is because it is by the barrister who is spearheading the campaign to encourage The Data Commissioner to make a statement on the issue?
My own understanding goes as far as to digest the summary and then make a stab at implementing it within a business, but I wouldn’t be able to argue the legality of storing private personal medical data in either direction.
I’d say the paytriots who’ve been protesting outside Leo & Tony’s houses will hi-tail it down to Limerick to see if there’s any $$$ to be grifted out of it.
…I wonder has he fully considered the optics of the situation ;-)
He hasn’t considered the optics beyond the glasses sitting on the front of his thick skull let alone anything else.
Are you drunk?
He’s on the meths, again, I reckon, SOQ.
lols fair play Gearoid. Publicans are great lads for the free publicity.
Anyone who can keep the interminably dull anti-vax brigade out of the pubs is a hero in my books.
They’ll be happier at home twitching the curtains and hissing at people on the internet anyway.
The curtain twitchers would be the likes of Gearoid, afraid of unvaccinated people, no?
Ah, but once again Nilbert.
I’m not anti Vax but I am being discriminated against since I have a previous infection. ;-)
just go somewhere else – not everyone will appreciate your gloriously heroic stance.
So discrimination is fine then?
Check!
Hey, remember last year when medical workers were heroes and got Covid in their spades and now we discriminate against those infected heroes if they won’t get an unnecessary medical procedure and some countries / employers in Ireland are even forcing them to lose their livelihoods.
Plus, they can’t even go to Gearoid’s pub to drown their sorrows.
Total bummer…
Wasn’t your previous infection a really long time ago? I mean where it’s been shown that the immunity from it would have receded to a point where it no longer protects you?
And then when the annual hospital crisis comes around even earlier because of reduced health care staff- sure we can just blame Covid and place everyone under house arrest again.
Was late January ’21 when I had it Oro.
I’d be willing to take an antibody test to see if I still had antibodies.
In fact, I had one booked just before the Vaccine Passport came in, as I wanted to prove I was still immune.
But since no ones actually interested in Science anymore and an antibody test wouldn’t be accepted by the Government – I didn’t see the point of wasting 80 quid so I cancelled it.
Forging around the Covid pass was an easier task. So I did that instead.
Seemed like longer. Would you prefer to get it again rather than just get the vaccine?
The chances of getting CoVid-19 again after a natural infection are very low- much more so than post vaccine, as evidenced by Israel.
Very low… unless you’re an international footballer.
https://www.irishmirror.ie/sport/soccer/soccer-news/callum-robinson-defends-vaccine-stance-25146109
Sure, no one here has a clue what their own immune response to the vaccine is like.
You may not even have protection at all. Scary eh? :)
Antibody tests would be prudent for everyone, to see if you even NEED a vaccine in the first place.
But, there’s not billions and billions of mullah to be made in that.
So, just get your endless boosters and shurrup ta feck…
Anything for a bit of publicity, this guy can’t seem to make up his mind

Jeez, the head on poor Garoid. Being served by something like that would cure the most dedicated alcohloic.
Such an eloquent man.
There’s no such thing as bad publicity, especially for a funny looking fella with a double digit IQ. A cute hoor without a doubt.
He’s a publican. So plenty of money. And back to serving up death and liver failure with the hand outs from the government.
With the help of God
