    saw him performing live just prior lockdown…in between pieces he told a few interesting stories…like I knew he was a big deal obviously but I couldn’t get over the amount of music luminaries he’d worked with across different genres…Jagger, McCartney, Stevie Wonder and cinematic scores etc. etc.

      Yep. He was an innovative musician. His collaborations with artists from different genres were amazing. I still occasionally listen to the album of The Chieftains with Van Morrison. RIP Paddy.

    Another luminary has shuffled off this mortal coil and our patch of earth the darker for it.
