NBA star Kyrie Irving has said he is “being true to what feels good” by choosing not to get vaccinated after the Brooklyn Nets decided he will not be allowed to practice or play with them until he complies with New York City’s Covid-19 vaccine mandate.

A New York mandate requires proof of at least one shot of the vaccine to enter large indoor spaces. The NBA has said players who are unable to compete due to local mandates will miss out on pay.

“It is not about being anti-vax or about being on one side or the other. It is just really about being true to what feels good for me,” the Nets guard said on Instagram Live

Not really the point. The Irish team has been very poor for the last few years.
Under Stephen Kenny, they have actually started to look like a proper team, able to keep the ball, playing decent passages of short passing play and creating a real threat to the opposition goal. They came very close to beating Portugal a few weeks ago and are now finally starting to get a bit of momentum going and have a player who’s scored 5 goals in their last two matches. It’s true those matches haven’t been against world class opposition but this is still a world away from a few months ago when they looked like they couldn’t score to save their lives so it should be celebrated and built upon.

Sara’s just bitter because she hates all unvaccinated people and Robinson’s goals have been a wonderful two fingers to her fanatical kind.

I believe Qatar would have won the World Cup if they had a decent team
Sadly two victories and the pundits think Ireland will return to the glories of Italia 90

    FIGHT! says he.

The fight is over, you lost. Boring old Science and common sense prevailed.
You may not have noticed, but the adults have left this conversation – only the desparados are left self-congratulating themselves for their nonsense.
