Are You Smarter Than A 2nd Grader?

“I hope y’all go to jail.”

Via The Free Press:

A Florida second grader who has been suspended 38 times for refusing to wear a mask to school confronted her local school board — and asserted that they should be in jail.

Fiona Lashells, who just turned 8 years old, told the Tampa Bay school board in no uncertain terms how she felt about their rules.

She is “on a mission to take back, not only her rights but every American child’s constitutional rights from the tyrant school board,” her mother, Bailey Lashells, told The Free Press.

How many times does a child need to be suspended before they are expelled?

Or is it the case that the school is reluctant to expel her because then they may have to back their mask rule up with some scientific evidence in court?

So I assume the parents of fruitcakes… pass that along to another generation and enjoy the bills for therapy later in life…

If mommy really cared about her child, she’d homeschool her so she wouldn’t be subject to the oppressive libtard school regime.

      Suck it, cucks!

Yep. It’s tribalism at the extremes now. People need to read some history about where this behaviour leads to. Not good.

  2. Cui Bono?

The whole mask thing is just ridiculous at this stage. They clearly don’t work according to the overwhelming majority of scientific studies including the highest quality RCTs. Even a quick look at countries that don’t wear them compared with countries that do shows they do nothing.

The only thing they’re good at is keeping the fear of a virus going.

The psychological impact on children (and adults) of wearing them everyday could be massive in the years ahead.

Yeah, I can see all the surgeons, doctors, nurses and carers going for psychiatric treatment from trying to stop the spread of germs.

Can you explain to me how you would do an RTC to test the following: “mask wearing protects other people” please?

      1. Kim The Cardassian

No, do your own research you lazy plonker.

There is plenty of research on how effective masks are and masks are more effective than no masks.

The mask thing is quite ridiculous alright, almost two years later….
Have been doing some vox pops on the streets where I live, anecdotical obvs but 9.5 persons out of ten when asked if they would prefer someone to fart bare arsed in their face or to have underwear adorning the buttocks, take the second option. Make of that what you will.

just thinking about that Looney Tunes cartoon where Bugs Bunny cuts Florida off from America and lets it float away.

The danger with that is it’ll get caught on the Gulf Stream and end up crashing into the Wild Atlantic Way.

Meanwhile, the choir of Fremont High School in Sunnyvale CA have no problem at all singing with their masks on and they sound wonderful. I’m a little biased; my granddaughter is a member of the choir. In Silicone Valley masks are not an issue for either children or parents.

The headline is funny. The wellness industry / alt medicine movement turned their back on science in the 80’s for God’s sake! It has always been full of charlatans and deranged people looking to buy snake oil.

          1. Kdoc

I suppose he could get stuck into them about their obscene profits, but not about their products. Pharma, big, medium or small is keeping many of us in the land of the living.

I wouldn’t be apart of any wellness industry, and I haven’t turned my back on any Covid science. If you are to accept the common definition for a vaccine – then these don’t even qualify for the title. But alas, some are very slow on the uptake and rather than educate themselves on such matters – would rather single out a cohort of society that they can attack and demean.

(Spoiler Alert) Cant help but feel like sir Ben Afleck at the end of ‘Good Will Hunting’ around here lately, you know the scene, goes to collect Matt Damon of Dalkey fame for another day of manual labour only to find him to have vamoosed to higher planes….
Bon Vie Nigel, he was far too good for this place and you all know it.

    1. bisted

…oh no…has Nigel gone…I thought he was just taking a few days quiet time…after his boys took one hell of a beating in the land of the free, it was understandable…now Mattie will be the smartest boy in the class…just like he’s always told us…
