This guy.
Meanwhile…
Above from left: National Lead, Vaccination Programme, Damien McCallion HSE CEO Paul Reid; HSE COO Anne O’Connor; HSE CCO Dr Colm Henry; and HSE speaking to media in Dr Steevens Hospital today on the weekly HSE operational update
This afternoon.
Dr Steevens’ Hospital, Dublin.
Via RTÉ
The HSE’s CCO Dr Colm Henry warned that unvacccinated people have no protection from the virus…
…However, Dr Henry said that vaccinations alone will not control case numbers and said that measures – particularly self- isolating with symptoms – and reducing contacts remain critical to reducing case numbers.
Dr Henry said that two weeks after receiving a booster dose, for adults — aged 50 or more — protection against symptomatic infection was 93% in those who originally had AstraZeneca and 94% in those who originally had Pfizer
However…
.@rtenews The HSE says some groups will not get their booster jabs until next March depending on eligibility.

Oh.
except your own natural protection….it hasn’t been wiped out
Natural protection? That’s a dangerous anti-vax conspiracy theory, Janet ;-)
Correct.. They just lie, lie, lie.. Non-vaccinated people that have recovered from Covid have way superior immunity than they will from an vaccine or any amount of boosters..
Yes, the 90% of old people that got Covid (the other 10% are dead) have superior immunity than the 100% of old people that got the vaccine.
Define “old people”
75+
Actually 65+
So far in Ireland there have been 50,958 cases in the 65+ age group (as of 18th November); in that age group there have been 5,099 deaths(as of 16th November).
90% survived.
10% died.

Cian my parents are jabbed, at their age I’m all for it, well tbh I question my very athletic mother needed it, but Did is recovering from lung cancer and no skinny Minny, but to suggest a healthy 40 year old has NO protection is fear mungering at best.
* Daddy not did
Good luck to your folks Janet, I’m sure you are a great comfort to them at this stage of their lives.
thanks
Pippo Pozzato, a 40 year-old former pro cyclist (who only retired 3 years ago, and is still involved with the sport, fit as a fiddle), thought that because he was young and strong, he didn’t need to get the vaccine.
Anyway, he caught covid, ended up on oxygen (did not need to be intubated, mercifully), and now regrets his previous intransigence.
I genuinely thought you had more sense, Janet, and the fact that you have not gotten vaccinated makes me worry how many other people that this website might be influencing.
I understand your concern Rob,
I am hesitant as breastfeeding and have based my decision on that. I am not back at work, do not socialise and don’t have any real contact with anyone.
Right now, it’s the right choice for me. I’m not putting anyone at risk and will continue to base my decision based on my evolving personal situation.
For all our differences I like the part where you said you thought I’d better sense ;).
I don’t intend to influence anyone, everyone should weigh up the risks based on their own personal parameters. My family are vaxed, I still continue to social distance from them in aerated rooms.
COVID is real and should be taken seriously,
I’m not suggesting otherwise
btw where have you been ?!
My sister was hesitant because she was pregnant. Her husband is anti-vax. They are both now sick with covid-19 and looking after a small baby. Hopefully they recover soon but it is not a good situation.
I wish them both a speedy recovery
keep us updated
@Rob_G
Is that a veiled threat?
is Rob coming to my house to jab me ! ;) I’ll put the kettle on, I went slightly bonkers on line shopping after baby and bought a lovely tea set.
That’s the thing about freedom of choice though Janet – it’s wasted on many.
Utter garbage from Leo and you as usual Cian.
you are right. I don’t know if natural immunity is superior.
But 10% of those recorded with Covid in the over 65+ age group in Ireland died.
Oh so now you care about older people? You shrugged your shoulders at what happened with the care homes. Get fupped.
This isn’t concern. It is fact.
The act of attaining “natural immunity” kills 10% of the over 65s
Your lying again Cian, over 65s are still in the 99% category for survival. you tout the governmental line, and when challenged with empirical data – simply ignore it to carry on in other threads spouting your nonsense.
Other commenters – How long has Cian been posting here, as was he always a government tout?
Approx 3 years. He came to the fore when Harris was Health Minister and jumped to his, and the HSE’s defence morning, noon and night.
The modus operandi haven’t changed either with diversionary and distracting posts.
@Chris, I have provided evidence for my 10% assertion.

If you are in disagreement you need to provide evidence for your claim.
Oh, and I’ve been commenting on BS since 2015.
broadsheet.ie/2015/10/02/livery-aid/
There wasn’t much talk of old people when you were defending the throwing of sick untested into the nursing homes eh?
Was there ever a time when he wasn’t shilling the government line?
On CNN, x health minister dealing only in blame for others, on the world stage.
I heard his co – leader MM recently saying that even the best health service would be under immense pressure in the current situation,no mention of where he felt out health service was relative to the best health service in the world. I would love to hear him rank out health service “in terms of” the best health service in the world.
If we get the government we deserve, what have we done to bring these fellas upon ourselves?
When do we hear about the 4th jab, or will they rename it the final jab, before the 5th.
The 5th will be “Return of the Jab”

Ah now, c’mon – for fupp’s sake – the 5% are causing the trouble. What a thing to say.
Regardless of which label someone else has adhered to your viewpoint, this is codswallop. Absolute rubbish.
Its those pesky minorities – no not THOSE minorities, this minority.
its OK to discriminate against THIS minority, because this one is bad.
Why? Well because I said so thats why
Willy
What a worm of a man, thinks 5% of the people being unvaccinated are causing all the trouble. He looks so shifty as well
There’s only one TD who is genuinely questioning this madness and his name is Michael McNamara.
Matie McGrath too.
What part of get vaccinated do you anti-social creeps not understand?
I think you’ll find the non vaccinated are the ones staying at home, washing hands and socially distancing because they don’t feel invincible.
I think you’ll find that’s a load of codswallop – the misplaced sense of self-entitlement tends to overpower them
Ah yeah Brian’s right J
I was just in the cinema and made sure I coughed on everyone I came into contact with.
Ghostbusters. – not bad actually.

Yep, exhibit A here
The prosecution rests.
I just confessed.
Why would you need evidence or a prosecution? ;p
“You’ll never take me alive coppers”
You still deserve due process Sicko, notwithstanding the fact you refuse to observe or extend such social courtesies and norms to fellow citizens.
Well, I was “sicko” earlier this year with ze covids.
But now I am Immuno!
And you shall be my arch nemesis – Immuno-comprimiso!
We can dress like Mexican wrestlers and battle late into the night.
Sound nice?
There are no ‘vaccines’ to take – they haven’t made one that works to my knowledge.
Spoof town toy.
Rightly said…
Do some research, They have worked. Not as well as hoped but our ICU’s would be in a very very bad way now without the vaccine programme.
lots of people have perfectly valid reasons
Janet, if you can, read Thus Spake Zarathustra (Nietzsche).
I am a forest, and a night of dark trees: but he who is not afraid of my darkness, will find banks full of roses under my cypresses.
What’s ‘lots of people’ or ‘perfectly valid’?
What you find a lot in this country is that because of a childish, immature streak, people will find any excuse they want to be a silly little sly, devious crybaby rebel, rather than to strike out against anything important or big, and/or in public.
So you have for example clear examples here of lads coming on here bigging up themselves to tell us how ‘they’ won’t make me wear no goddamn mask, get a vaccine etc – if something was seriously the matter with them, these guys would be first in line to demand – DEMAND – Janet – why is the ‘Government’ not ‘doing something’? I know it, you know it, the dogs on the street know it.
are you Irish yourself ?
There are also some unvaccinated people going around that are a not giving a second thought about how rest of society have suffered through this.
Your elected government – and the powers that exist above that level of governance – are responsible for your suffering and the suffering of others throughout this calamitous period of human existence – make no mistake.
Im jabbed, just not a moron that swallows every piece of bull plop that’s rolled out
Gavin, you’re not alone; the only people [anecdotal as it is] I know who are resigned to boosters are older than I, and elderly.
Many people thought they were doing the right thing by getting the vaccinations, however, none realised that it was like the Hotel California analogy, particularly when those who make/ tentatively legislate and impose said rules don’t comply.
There’s much more happening and ongoing within society which requires a clear mind and imagination to contemplate, it’s like the Ostrich analogy of sticking one’s head in the sand; Ostriches don’t stick their heads in the sand, if they did they couldn’t breath – they bury their eggs in sand and tend to them.
It’s the difference between perception and fact.
The lack of critical thinking is more concerning than the virus
people are not taught to critically think anymore and those that were are terrified
You don’t know what critical thinking is
The key critical thinking skills are: analysis, interpretation, inference, explanation, self-regulation, open-mindedness, and problem-solving.
Are YOU using all five ?
And we will have him as Taoiseach again after saying that and all the other crap he has done in recent months? Eff that.
Can’t wait
He did a great job leading the COVID response first time out and it will be great to have a professional healthcare man back in charge now as the situation worsens.
Lmao
D.Luded. Yea !
Leo is a WEF stooge and is following a global agenda.
He knows he’s lying and getting away with it. The duping delight coming off him is ridiculous.
he lies so often, and is so comfy with lying, that you can never take his word on anything. but this.. 5 percent? does he really think anyone would buy that? I think he genuinely thinks everyone is stupid and he’s super smart. it can be the only explanation at this point.
Over 80% of all positive SARS-COV2 cases to date in Ireland have been asymptomatic meaning they enjoyed natural immunity to Covid19, the disease. MOST people are therefore in fact fully immune to Covid19. Varadkars statement is absolutely disgraceful and has no basis in reality. He is deliberately demonising the unvaccinated. I think the numbers recognising how deceitful and wrong this is are increasing by the day. Hopefully his words only further alienate people and increase opposition to the discriminatory passes.
In his ‘Welfare cheats cheat us all’ realm now. Sick puppy.
More LIES from E’Matty.
The number of symptomatic cases is reported in the Epidemiology of COVID-19 in Ireland – 14 day report;
Over the last 14 days (03/11/2021 to 16/11/2021) 23,412 of the positives were symptomatic. 2,362 were 2,362 asymptomatic. i.e. 91% had symptoms.
for another 31,871 cases it is not know if they were symptomatic or not, so are excluded from the % but even if these were all asymptomatic (they aren’t) it would still give a 41% symptomatic rate.
This is a particularly dumb take even for you Cian. Of course a very high percentage of people who feel sick enough to get tested will have symptoms. Thats like saying 95% of people who present themselves to a GP with their foot pointing the wrong way have a broken foot… Of course they do, thats why they’re seeking medical attention.
The medical literature on this is very clear, 80%~ of covid infections, when whole populations are examined, are asymptomatic or incredibly mild. The HSE themselves even say this:
“For COVID-19, data to date suggest that 80% of infections are mild or asymptomatic, ”
https://hselibrary.ie/what-is-the-rate-of-asymptomatic-carriage-of-covid-19-amongst-both-older-people-65-and-the-general-population/
If someone has no symptoms, or very very mild ones, they’re not going to know they have covid, so aren’t going to get tested.
There were no asymptomatic cases. They were running the PCR cycles too high, picking up viral residue in order to artificially inflate case numbers.
why did he say “positive cases”?
Cases are manufactured to excuse a crisis that is based on a false premise.
If the CDC, one of the primary doom porn merchants, retire their flawed testing, because it just was pointless; would it not make sense to review all the governmental actions that have been made on that poor data?
https://www.cdc.gov/csels/dls/locs/2021/07-21-2021-lab-alert-Changes_CDC_RT-PCR_SARS-CoV-2_Testing_1.html
The CDC produced a PCR assay that could detect Covid (note: there are also many other companies that produced FDA approved Covid assays).
Later, the CDC produced a new PCR assay that could detect either Covid or influenza. You can stick a sample into this and one run will tell you if it is clear, Covid, Flu (which strain).
CDC are now removing their original PCR assay (because the new one is better). Many other companies still have their FDA approved Covid-only assays available.
Lies. They’re running the cycles at 40-45 when they should not be running them above 30 – picking up dead residual viral particulates as a result.
https://www.bitchute.com/video/2llufzHVUBAX/
Yes Ben. People are turning to the wolves imagining them as shepherds.
I said “positive cases” Cian because they are the PCR positive cases, over 80% of which have been asymptomatic. If you do not have symptoms, you do not have Covid-19 the disease. Therefore, over 80% whilst testing positive were asymptomatic non Covid cases meaning their own immune systems prevented development of the disease despite supposedly being infected, or at least testing positive on a PCR. Those people had, wait for it, natural immunity to Covid-19!
Interestingly, you can always tell which side of an argument someone is on by the terms they use.
The pro side will say COVID a lot, except there is no such thing, occasionally CoVid-19 but never ever SARS-CoV-2.
The anti side will use SARS-CoV-2 a lot, mainly when talking about the virus, and CoVid-19 for disease- but never COVID.
The use of the word ‘cases’ is also wrong of course because a CoVid-19 diagnosis requires a medical examination.
Most are just asymptomatic SARS-Cov-2 positive tests and with PCR even that is questionable, plus the question of if asymptomatic are infectious at all.
@E’Matty
You are wrong. As I showed above, in the last 14 days 91% of the people that had a positive PCR test had symptoms..
@SOQ
The only people that use “SARS-CoV-2” are you and that printer-engineer Cummins.
For most people most of the time “Covid” is sufficient. The context of the sentence will tell you if they mean the virus “SARS-CoV-2 ” or the disease “COVID-19”.
Anybody that uses that weird “CoVid-19” is lIkLeY tO AlSo WriTe LiKe ThiS.
Meanwhile in Israel- both Vaccinated (3 jabs) and unvaccinated were tested at the airport- and has produced some interesting results. Oh Dear- 4th jab definitely on the way.
“The analysis suggests that the relative protection of the booster shot against infection is likely to be significantly smaller than the initial estimates of 10-11-fold (over 90%) reported by the MOH, probably around 60% at best. This also implies that the absolute number of infected individuals in the Vaccinated group is likely to be at least as high as in the Unvaccinated, raising serious concerns that the new Green Pass is inefficient in preventing infection spread, and could expose high risk individuals to risk.”
https://papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers.cfm?abstract_id=3963606
Meanwhile further depleting TLR 3, 7 & 8 cells making them more likely to develop immune disorders, cancers and the like. Stay away from the ‘boosters’. Zinc, Vit C, Vit D 4000ui, until we know more.
Did CNN not ask about the Criminal Investigation he is under then?
No other poster to latch onto – even one?
He’s only CNN to hook up with Richard Quest in Central Park.

That would have been an hilariously witty retort, worthy of Wilde himself except for the fact that “not just” and “just not” have completely different meanings.
But don’t despair. You may still find the moron you’re seeking. I suggest you try looking in the nearest mirror..
