Losing Mrs Brod

“Marlene, why are leaving the school today?”

“I was told that I didn’t have the vaccine and I wouldn’t comply to rapid testing, so, my day is short.”

After almost 35 years, Marlene Brod leaves her place of work for the final time.

That’ll learn her.

Yeah, she looks like a real kiddie killer in the making.

You’re such a lovely person Jim; your own teachers would be so proud of you.

There are no spaces between punctuations marks in English. Or are you 6?

PS, Jim is right. Zero F’s given.

Ellie, before kindly correcting my grammar, check your own.
        Punctuations marks – really.
Is all you really have to say that you agree with Jim and not with Me.
        Keep your f’s for yourself.

You don’t like people standing up against evil? Tough, there’s a lot of us – and we’re made of stronger stuff than you.

Don’t understand why she wouldn’t just have a regular test and wait till all this nonsense blows over

Perhaps she should have gotten the test but anybody waiting for “all this nonsense to blow over” could be rightly disappointed. As we’ve said before, the “New Normal” was never intended to be a temporary state of affairs. It is intended to actually be the basis for our new “normal” way of life. No thanks.

    More Fake News from Bodger.

    What you should have written:
After almost 35 years, schoolteacher Marlene Brod leaves her place of work for the final time because she is not vaccinated and will not comply to rapid testing.

i bribed my 5 year old with an ice cream in order to get a pcr test. surely marlene might be tempted by a nice pair of slippers or thermal underwear?

Lord! Talk about unnecessary victim complex. She is at a risky age to take her chances with covid, and tests are available! Really, really silly. Victimology culture is rife.

“ a risky age to take her chances”

But it is HER chance to take.

I agree that at her age, a vaccine would be a good idea. But it is her choice.

Remember in March 2020 when we locked down to protect people her age. And now she’s the devil.

It just proves to me more and more that it was never about protecting other people, it was always about protecting our own butts.

Ah, you’d also enjoy “Why capital punishment is nothing new” or its sequel “Why internment camps are nothing new”. Some things are best left in the past. It’s called progress.

In fairness, she’s not vaccinated AND won’t comply with testing. That’s a fairly crucial qualifier that completely changes the context of this story. Can’t understand why it’s not referenced.
