Claire Byrne Live on RTÉ One.

Last night.

Via Dublin Live:

RTE viewers have slammed a segment on Claire Byrne Live last night on toy organisation.

Professional organiser Vera Keohanen explained the best way to tidy your family playroom and what to do with toys that have had their day.

She told Claire that cluttered toy boxes lead to children becoming disinterested and it’s better for toys to be clearly seen and organised.

Nanny State TV, literally. Go tidy your room.

Will Claire Byrne ever just quit instructing us all. Who made her the nation’s teacher?

On further though, it seems rather appropriate that she has this role.

After all the state education system produces, according to the OECD, ‘second class robots’:

Odd that RTE doesn’t probe how our educational system is an international embarrassment., instead, lectures on how to put children’s toys away.

An apparatus that disdains critical thought. if ever there was one.

Sometimes it can take a while for the truth to out.

Like the just say no drug compaigns of the 90’s. Now the largest money maker of all illegal drugs ie cannabis is mostly legal in the USA.

Your brain did not get fried like an egg. Or if it did it was your choice.

      Sit tight.

At least she didn’t call it ‘omnicron’ unlike all the other buffoons in RTE who seem to think it sounds more sciencey

Or it isjust a common slip of the tongue. I’ve heard plenty make the same mistake, and then guffaw after doing so :) Myself included.

I look forward to the day when Claire Burn reveals that her TV show is just part of a PhD study on Performance Art…

claire byrne has become ,a satutday night live skit ,of the claire byrne show. she,s a joke, wrapped in a parody, and deep fried in a vat of condesending arrogence.

I know not everyone likes this type of straight acted comedy. It’s a lot harder than it looks to pull it off.
I loved The Day Today and Brass Eye and I reckon this RTE effort is pretty good.
