The “Irish” Mail on Sunday looking even more English than it usually does! Picture of the British Royals and an English chef on its front page? Every day this week the “Irish” Daily Mail had a picture related to Prince Andrew on it’s front page. Why Broadsheet persist on always putting both papers at the top of the Irish papers is beyond me. At least both papers sales have collapsed (which might explain why they can’t bother put an Irish picture on the front page) IDM now selling under 20,000 a day and IMOS under 45,000.

Fadó, fadó, a Greek man asked me one night if I’d any Greek in me, and if I wanted some; nowadays I’d enquire as to which letter he was referring to – and an antigen test.

    How times have changed.

Thanks for this link, well worth a listen especially for the “Nigels” of society who are still believing the official narrative.
I knew the models were wrong, and the narrative was galloping off in the wrong direction.

      1. Pat

Except he doesn’t so much ‘believe the official narrative’ as ‘politely and calmly expose the poor science and disinformation peddled by conspiracy quacks and nutters on here every single day without even breaking a sweat which everyone except the same conspiracy quacks and nutters finds hilarious and deeply satisfying’

        Yes that’s more like it

      Probably the Charities Regulator.

I wonder does FF fill all conditions? https://www.citizensinformationboard.ie/downloads/relate/Relate_2018_05.pdf

      A brief extract:
The Charities Act 2009 sets out specific types of organisations which are not, and cannot become, charities. These are known as excluded bodies.
      Excluded bodies include:
      • A political party, or a body that promotes a political party or candidate (there are separate registration requirements for political parties)
      • A body that promotes a political cause, unless
the promotion of that cause relates directly to the advancement of the charitable purposes of the body

      1. V aka Frilly Keane

Stop talking like you know what you’re at

The Iona Institute is a Registered Charity FFS
Along with religious orders of every make and means
And don’t say they’re not political

There are over 10,900 Charities on the Regulator’s roster
Believe me, a members only draw is the least absurd

And if you bothered to actually check the 09 Act you’ll note four types of qualifying purpose
With the fourth being the catch all
Any other purpose that is of benefit to the community

Even that dope Brophy could make a case to fit a prize draw run from a Party HQ in under that
All they have to do is throw a few bob around into local Hospices or Summer schemes or buy a second hand bus to take oul’wans to the nearest post office

They could have run these prize draws like the Credit Unions do their own Members Draws, if they wanted
But that might mean they have to draw the Central Bank on them
So far easier, and crafty btw
To put themselves into the Charity’s Regulator orbit instead

The problem is not FF and FG availing of the Charitable Status leg up to raise money

It’s the legislation and regulations that govern the sector
And how convenient it is for untraceable and untracked cash collecting, and income generation that is exempt from taxation

If this latest conniption has ye all in a twist
WTF are ye going to be like if ye had fuller information about the Passports for Sale aka Immigrant Investor Programme

        1. GiggidyGoo

          So this is incorrect then?

Fianna Fáil is a Political Party is it not? Are Political Parties “excluded bodies”. By being “excluded”, then they can’t qualify.
If the answer is ‘yes’ to both questions, then Fianna Fáil declaring they’re a charity is incorrect, especially as they are promoting the party.

I can’t find Fianna Fáil listed under Fianna Fáil mind you. https://www.charitiesregulator.ie/en/information-for-the-public/search-the-register-of-charities

There is nothing stopping two separate entities operating from either the same registered address or in the same interests

Like say a homeless charity and a social housing AHB entity

The eFFers and the Blueshirts only need to organise their fundraising under a different legal umbrella
Different Bank Account Different Auditors etc

            Like say Friends of ….

            It’s as simple
            And everyday as that

Everyone blowing their own holes on learning about it now is exactly why the Government lads, and loads of others too btw,
            are running rings around us

            It’s like chump
They toss ye a bit to feed off every now and again

            Expenses
            RTÉ payroll

          5. GiggidyGoo

@Vanessa. So Fianna Fáil is not a registered charity. (because they’re excluded from being so.)
The actual charity name would be useful though.

@1-2-1-2-Boxy. Carry on. Scan the code. Remember which name you should be replying under. Guffaw etc.
“ Not Boxy mad auld lad GiggidyGums but once again I am humbled by the compliment that I continue to live rent free in your pasty aul noggin. ROFL!”

      Government gagging science from talking
      I just wonder
You cannot have more than six fully vaccinated people in a restuarant but can have 50000 people massed at a sporting event crowded together all screaming their heads off out door not even 1 foot away from each other and I bet allowed in without covid passes
The spittle ejected from their mouths will be breathed in even outside as they cheer on the side sing and generally enjoy their super spreading event

Local Man: I hear you’re an Anti-Vaxxer now Father? How did you get into that type of thing?

Father: Who said I’m an Anti-Vaxxer?

LM: Everyone’s sayin’ it Father. Should we all be anti-vaxxers now? Only… fartin’ about takes up most of the day, and at night I only like a cup of tea. I mightn’t be able to devote myself full-time to the ol’ anti-vaxxers.

Local Woman: Good for you Father. Glad someone had the guts to stand up to them at last, comin’ over here, administering their jabs, and actin’ like they own the place. Well done Father! Well done! Good for you! Good for you! I blame the feckin’, the feckin’ Oxford crowd!
LM: It isn’t the Oxfords, it’s the Meriam-Websters he should be mad at. They tell us he’s an Anti-Vaxxer!

Fr: But, I’m not an Anti-Vaxxer!

LM: Oh, but you are now Father, the Meriam-Websters changed the definition of an Anti-Vaxxer!

    MERIAM-WEBSTER
    anti-vaxxer noun

    An·ti-Vax·xer | \ ˌan-tē-ˈvak-sər , ˌan-ˌtī- \
    plural anti-vaxxers
    Definition of anti-vaxxer
: a person who opposes the use of vaccines *or regulations mandating vaccination*
    https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/anti-vaxxer

      1. Bitnboxy

Lol. Cian demolishes Itchy McScratchy aka Clampers in one fell swoop. And after Itchy’s long winded efforts.

        1. Clampers Outside

He demolished nothing. I poked fun at what I see as a silly change.
As for the claim that people now use anti-vax to also mean those who oppose mandated vaccines. Show me the evidence if the use that warranted such a change.

And yes, dictionaries to provide such, but I fail to see any provision for this change.

If you have it, plse post a link.

But it is my understanding that most people do not hold the view expressed in the new definition.

“Demolished” LOL! I think you should look up the meaning of that while you’re at it.

          And “humour” too. :)

        1. Clampers Outside

          +1

It’s a brand new idea of the use of the word, and one, I nor anyone I spoke to about had any idea of. I really haven’t seen any use of the word to mean that.

And yes, to those who will come back re my speaking from an individual view, I’m aware I am just me. I’m also aware I’m not the only one saying it is silly.

        2. f_lawless

LM: Father, last night my wife refused to engage with me in the act of sexual intercourse

LW: Father, he came home stinkin’ of booze with a lecherous look in his eye, tryin’ to force himself upon me.

LM: I can assure you Father, my intentions were entirely honourable. All I want to do is to start a family. Is the act of sexual union between a husband and his wife not fundamental to this? Is she an Anti-Sexxer? Is that it Father?

          LW: I am not Father!

Fr: In situations like these we must look to the Good Book for direction.

          LM & LW: The Bible?

          Fr. No, Meriam-Webster’s Dictionary

      2. Clampers Outside

Where have you seen anyone use the word to mean that? There must be innumerable examples at your finger tips.

I’m seriously starting to consider something else is at play. Fluoxetine & other SSRIs reduce cognitive facilities by design. Given the high uptake in the west (Ireland being a prime example) – I think drug induced susceptibility, is making people more likely to fall for the propaganda.

The pandemic will end when the digital monetary system is in place

Melissa Ciummei, a financial investor from Northern Ireland, has serious concerns that injection passports will be used more like data passports to control participation in society.

She believes the passport system was manufactured to bring about a financial reset, replacing our failing fiat currency system. Trillions of dollars are owed to banks and there’s no way to pay it back.

Because passports are crucial for the implementation of this new financial system, mandatory vaccination of all citizens, young and old, will be imperative for the plan to succeed.

if the jabs worked then there would be no need for boosters.
If the fully jabbed get sick and spread amongst each other, what is the point of the regulations?
My wife and 2 kids all tested positive yesterday in Cork, whatever that means, and they are now stuck at home for 10 days.
Kids, almost no symptoms apart from one throwing up in school, which caused the testing, still running around, mad as normal.
My wife has had flu like symptoms and felt shit for 4 days, but on the mend.
This is not worth wrecking the economy of the entire planet, to attempt to prevent a generally moderate flu.
