Oh my goodness, that’s horrific. A 14 year old boy did it… there is something fundamentally wrong with society.

Because I never particularly cared but at least I’m not being hypocritical. It’s illuminating that all of this outpouring of grief and anger is conditional on a persons class and race.

Pretty hypocritical to pretend to care about yet another brutal murder of a woman to score some anti woke points. I can smell the smugness from here.

How dare Micheal Martin show up at this. Crime, particularly crime against women is rampant. He has done nothing in his 32 years as a TD in regards to this.

yup there’ll be plenty of opportune bandwagon here, incoming

a special mention for our leaky spin the bottle keystone cops and ze paper of record who managed to make a horror story even worse if that’s possible, congrats lads

A black girl viciously beaten in Ballyfermot recently (racist attack)
2 young boys stabbed in Blanchardstown Shopping Centre this week
A young girl murdered in Tullamore.

And not so long ago: Anna Kriegal murdered in Lucan, in 2018. One of the murdering scum is due for release in 4 years time when he is 21. Both of them will get a new identity and a new life.

    That’s Ireland under Fianna Fail. Micheal Martin doesn’t give a f u p p.

I’d forgotten about that poor man.

RTE originally reported this murder with the usual inverted commas, suggestions that it was a gangland killing.

          Yeah. Typical alright.

Just coz he’s from Ballyfermot or whatever.

I think the whole pandemic has just heightened all this stuff too. There’s so much stress and tension and just a general disliking of people.

Honestly I’m surprised there’s not more violence going on. And maybe there is behind closed doors. :(

Hopefully we will reign it all back in once this passes.

Martin can put the candle down there and make a real mark by liasing with dept. of justice and bringing in tougher sentences for violent crime. At the moment there’s no real deterrent. Guys coming in to court with 80 previous convictions and getting off lightly. Make change from a governmental level with real action. The slew of politicians coming out lately and making statements and offering support and prayers etc., are only doing it for their own image. Without action it’s only self serving.
