Just to point out for the slow of learning, us ratlickers have once again been proven right now that the HSE has started to release information on the asymptomatic cases in hospitals. Half of all hospital cases are asymptomatic i.e. positive PCR for SARS-COV2 but NO Covid-19. Half!!
Was drinking in a packed pub last night (inside unmasked too!). People have moved on. This is now a cold. Remove all restrictions immediately.
Good for you. What a fool paying through the nose for state sponsored and heavily taxed alcohol with a pile of other bovines stacked into a cattle crush.

While that’s actually good news, the hospitals are still full of people with covid, so good luck to disabled people and people with cancer or any other sort of underlying condition needing treatments, not to mention staff who are out sick or isolating and the other staff trying to make up for it, I’m sure they’ll all be relieved to know that the ratlickers have found a way to feel vindicated about something.
GiggidyGoo
“ the hospitals are still full of people with covid”
Utter bull.
There are people in hospital with heart conditions, with cancers, recovering from operations who don’t have covid.
Why do you say ‘full’ then?
Cui Bono?
Nigel wants covid to be worse than it actually is because otherwise he has to accept that he’s been fooled.
Nigel
If there are less people in hospital with symptomatic covid at this stage of the pandemic than there were during earlier stages of the pandemic, then apparently we’ve been fooled. You may wonder why it is people don’t really take you seriously unless they already agree with you and why people scoff at your arguments rather than engage with you in serious debate. That’s just one example.
Cui Bono?
They won’t debate because they’ll lose. You’ve lost every argument you’ve had on covid. More and more people are copping on everyday and you will soon be in the minority.
Nigel
So you guys keep saying. You guys love declaring victory.
Cui Bono?
We are all victims of tyranny Nigel. We are in this together and there is no victory yet.
Nigel
You’re not a victim of tyranny.
Mad
You’re a victim alright
Cui Bono?
I’m not allowed into a cafe, cinema, bar, or restaurant so no I disagree with you. I am a victim of tyranny.
You don’t even realise how your naivety and ignorance is helping this tyranny work. You think it’s all for health haha – madness!
Mad
You’re lucky to be allowed out at all
Nigel
That’s not tyranny.
Nigel
‘Why do you say ‘full’ then?’
Because there’s a lot of them and saying something is full of something is a common everyday expression for there being a lot of something. Between nitpicking ‘full’ and ‘all’ you’re really demonstrting your intellectual weightiness, I must say.
And of course all those people you refer to in hospital without covid are being put at serious risk, which was my point.
E'Matty
Nigel, the recent HSE figures reveal half of all cases being called “Covid cases” in our hospitals do not even have Covid-19. They may have SARS-COV-2 but without symptoms, that is not Covid-19. It utterly demolishes the misinformation you and others have been spreading about cases and hospitalisations. Would you have the good grace to admit your errors? Like hell you will…
Nigel
That might be your idiosyncratic ideologically-driven view of what does not count as cases, but for everyone else, it does. I donlt know what error you want me to admit, I’ve never made any statement that all hospital cases are symptomatic, I even said it’s good news. If you really need validation I’m sure Giggidy or one of the other contrarians will be happy to give it to you.
E'Matty
It’s shocking but not surprising that even after two years you still do not understand the difference between SARS-COV2, the virus, and Covid19, the disease. If you do not develop any symptoms (asymptomatic positive PCR) you have SARS-COV-2. You do not have Covid-19. Calling all PCR positive cases Covid-19 is factually incorrect and a clear attempt to scaremonger and inflate the perception of a threat.
Over half of claimed Covid cases in hospital are not Covid-19 cases but instead are mere SARS-COV-2 cases. This is a scientific fact. You’ll cling to your fear as long as you can. That much is clear.
Nigel
That’s a crank minority view for people trying to downplay the pandemic. All or even most covid hospital cases do not need to be symptomatic for the situation to be serious. It may be less serious than earlier in the pandemic for that reason, but with staff out sick or isolating there’s still enormous pressure on health infrastructure and a real threat to anyone in vulnerable categories who needs treatment or ends up in hospital.
GiggidyGoo
Don’t be such a gobpoo Nigel. No wonder you’re not taken seriously, when you write such drivel
