‘Not Based On Sound Evidence’

In case you missed it.

Via Sunday Express:

More than thirty doctors, scientists and MP’s have signed a joint letter to the government’s vaccine watchdog urging it to “reassess” the Covid vaccine rollout for healthy 12-15-year-olds following new data showing potentially serious harms of the jab are likely to outweigh any potential benefits.

The letter urges the government to ‘reassess’ the Covid vaccine rollout for healthy 12-15 year olds.

The letter has been signed by 12 scientists, medical experts and 21 peers and MPs including the former president of the Royal College of General Practitioners, a former government vaccine advisor, paediatricians and experts in infectious disease as well as 21 politicians and peers.

It argues the risk benefit calculations made by the JCVI and the Chief Medical Officer were based on “less than complete data on both the harms and the benefits of vaccinating children compared to the evidence now available.”

It cites new evidence showing the risk of myocarditis in young men and boys is up to 14 times higher after vaccination than after infection.

And it states that given the high level of naturally acquired immunity from infection as well as the replacement of the Delta variant by milder Omicron, “it’s crucial that, if we are to proceed with the mass double vaccination of healthy children, we are absolutely certain this policy will do more good than harm.”

Signatory Professor Brent Taylor, Professor Emeritus of Community Child Health, UCL Great Ormond Street Institute of Child Health, said:

“The latest CDC data reports elevated rates of post-vaccination myocarditis for boys aged 12-15, 2.5-24 times higher in the seven days after the first dose and 24-228 times higher in the seven days after the second dose.

“So, whilst the absolute risks are still low they cannot be described as trivial and the absolute risk from Covid-19 to healthy children is negligible. Additionally, the vaccines stop neither infection nor transmission and many children will have broad and robust natural immunity following infection.

“I’m afraid the mass vaccination of healthy children is not based on sound evidence. It is time for the JCVI, the CMO and the Government to reassess all the evidence now available and alter its recommendation accordingly.”

    Sure we already knew this

    1) Vaccines dont stop transmission
    2) The number of children who died from covid is absolutely miniscule

      1. SOQ

Why are you only interested in the miniscule amount who die of CoVid-19 and not those who will die or be permanently injured from the vaccines?

The risk benefit is clearly in favour of not giving it to them- especially as the medium and long term risks are not yet known.

        1. Tom J

Depends on your definition of miniscule. Let’s say 8 Billion people on earth and 1 Billion die of Covid 19, is that miniscule enough for you.

          1. Micko

            Ah it’s all good Tom

With the aul Omicron spreading like wildfire the CFR of Covid in Ireland has now dropped to 0.5%

It was 0.6% only last week.

If the CFR is that small, the IFR will be feckin tiny.

No need to jab yer kids man. Hang in a little while longer and see what happens.

            Be grand.

          2. SOQ

Some viruses are very specific as to who they make sick Tom, and this is one of them. In the main, it is nothing more than the sniffles for a child which is hell of a lot better than a life long heart problem- or worse.

Up until now, public policy was to vaccinate high risk and let community immunity build up in the rest. Nobody can, or at least is willing to, explain what is so different this time around.

Just where did you find that figure? Come on now, give us a linky.

          4. Micko

I’ve had it twice Tom. With no jabs

Not exactly pleasant the second time, but I’ve had worse. A bad cold.

But let’s do the maths for the under 25’s

1109818 Confirmed Covid infections in Ireland. (Actual Number is of course bigger)

Only 8 people under 25 have died in the past two years with Covid.

            That’s 0.0007% of cases.

            Be grand.

          5. Tom J

But the virus has a thought pattern and has decided to be merciful with you. Of course they say third time lucky.

          6. SOQ

The two high risk groups of elderly and obese, are well defined at this stage.

If the HSE wasn’t in the back pocket of Big Pharma, there would be early intervention protocols in place to reduce hospital admissions of course- but that is another story.

          7. Tom J

It is irrelevant if people dying of Covid are elderly or obese or anorexic. But you seem to think that’s a good thing.

          8. Micko

Ah come on Tom. Be rational.

            The numbers don’t lie.

            Under 25’s – only 0.0007%

More zeros then James Bond there.

          9. SOQ

            Of course it is relevant.

If the HSE announced a breast screening campaign for men, everyone would question why- but, men do get breast cancer? The difference is that the amount who get it is so small, there is no point.

And the same is true when vaccinating children for a disease they will rarely if ever get, especially when there is serious health risks associated.

          10. Tom J

Breast Cancer is not contagious. If the HSE announced a Covid screening for men what would you do, because men do get Covid 19 and do die from it.

          11. SOQ

Vaccines do nothing to prevent transmission- that is a given at this stage. There is no communitarian argument for CoVid-19 vaccines- it is a personal choice only.

    Dr. Clare Craig:

    ”The MSM completely ignored this.”

    Also Dr. Clare Craig:

”It only appeared on the online version of the Express (MSM).”

”More than 30” most of whom aren’t in the medical field, versus the thousands of medical practitioners who apparently don’t feel that way and are happy to administer the vaccine to kids – you could almost call it a ”miniscule” amount.

    1. SOQ

Who said they are happy to jab kids?

They may be instructed to do it but that does not mean they are happy to do it.

Very odd juxtaposition of a rather graphic image, totally out context.

I think at this point it’s been made very clear to Irish medical practitioners that if you air views in public that challenge the orthodoxy and if you refuse to get with the vaccination program, then you’re liable to be suspended by the Irish Medical Council and lose your income. Look at the example they made of Irish GP Dr Gerard Waters:

“Covid-19: Irish GP who refused to vaccinate patients is suspended”

Right. It’s been this way from the beginning and is at least partially the reason so many already frightened people comment here and elsewhere without hearing a balanced debate. All the contra debaters have been very effectively silenced under threat of loss of status and livelyhood. My tin hat has foiled it all.

    1. Nigel

So pandemic preperation is proof that they’re planning a pandemic, not planning for a pandemic.
Cyber attack preperation is proof they are planning a cyber attack, not planning for a cyber attack.
Never mind all the warnings about pandemics and cyber attacks. Multiple small–to-medium scale disease outbreaks in the last ten years. Multiple cyber attacks on institutions all over the world. Our very own cyber attack on the HSE.
This is like those survivalists and freaks that go ballistic every time the US has a military exercise in the US screaming it’s actually an invasion by the UN and the NWO.
      You numbskulls.
