Good old Teresa May; in the 7 months since that speech there have been 24,000+ Covid deaths in the UK.
A little bit more than the “ten to twenty thousand flu deaths each year” she mentioned.
Lets not follow the UK too closely.
The UK is made up of four countries and right now, three of them are heavily restricted while one is not.
Right now, there is no difference between their figures, if anything the restricted are worse.
Hopefully the positive news on the decreasing severity of Covid continues.
