“It has to be the catchy as hell Manic Monday written by the Genius Prince and recorded by The Bangles. The piano motif in the song is something else.”

    This week, however, I am calling for VAR (Video and Audio Referee) to intervene. Even though Manic Monday is a good song, no way is it more worthy of Nick’s Esteem than Our Lips Are Sealed.

    How old are the people on this website?
    I used to think I was the oldest, and I won’t be 61 until September.
    I’m doubting it more every day. The rest of you are ancient.

    Also, Black Dog by Led Zeppelin.
    First time I heard it played live was by a band called The Hype, Bushy Park, Terenure… and it was raining.
    Bono remembers.

    They were the only band brave enough to take the stage in the rain. The other 3 bands chickened out.
