Pfizer Inc’s antiviral Covid-19 pill

This afternoon.

Via RTÉ News:

The European Union’s drug regulator has conditionally approved the use of Pfizer Inc’s antiviral Covid-19 pill for treating adults at risk of severe illness.

The endorsement by the European Medicines Agency (EMA) allows EU member states to deploy the drug after the regulator gave guidance for its emergency use late last year.

Italy, Germany and Belgium are among a handful of EU countries that have bought the drugs.

More like, what’s the point for a virus many of us have already had and brushed off like a common cold? I’m going to stick with my natural immunity. You fire ahead and keep depleting yours.

Because there are many other people who get severely ill with covid. When you’ve reached the point where you’re asking what is the point of a medicine other people will need but you think you won’t, surely you should start questioning your assumptions?

Not exactly Micko. There seems to be a few headbangers that are miffed its over. You can spot them out and about wearing masks where none are required or needed :)

          Covid is everywhere.
          People who are vulnerable exist.
You have ideologically committed yourself to reckless indifference.

I am sick to death of this virtue signalling. I, like about 15% of the Irish population, have asthma. Mine is severe but controlled. For the past 50 years people have snotted on me, coughed on me and breathed all kinds of germs on me. Every winter they make me very ill. I go on strong steroids, antibiotics and sometimes into hospital for oxygen and stronger and higher doses of steroids.
Not once has any of ye Covid pushers ever given a single feck about me and those like me.
You only care about yourselves. You are terrified of the fear porn and you actually like the little bit of powerplay. Put on your mask ? Or else I will report you ?
I have gasped and I have choked. My breathing has stopped twice. I know ALL about respiratory disease. You know nothing about it. Your fake concern sickens me.
I have accepted my lot in life. I have endured. I have never complained before today. I know how I will die and I want to live now before that happens. If you want to hide from an airbourne illness then stay home.

      Shout out to Madashell!

The criers on here are just afraid of what they might lose or what they think they own that could be taken from them. They couldn’t give a damn about anyone else, they live in a world of delusion, materialism and fear porn – Mé Féinism!

Sweden decides against recommending COVID vaccines for kids aged 5-12

STOCKHOLM, Jan 27 (Reuters) – Sweden has decided against recommending COVID vaccines for kids aged 5-11, the Health Agency said on Thursday, arguing that the benefits did not outweigh the risks.
“With the knowledge we have today, with a low risk for serious disease for kids, we don’t see any clear benefit with vaccinating them,” Health Agency official Britta Bjorkholm told a news conference.

She added that the decision could be revisited if the research changed or if a new variant changed the pandemic. Kids in high-risk groups can already get the vaccine.
