He seems to also have a problem bending down as he showed during his speech just before he hobbled away from the podium

      1. stephen moran

Great result for the Aussies – a very sporting declaration which looked way too generous 350 odd off 120 overs and after a bit of a fright they won at a canter as Pakistan batted like Boycott on a go slow and showed no interest in the chase and paid the price – fortune favours the brave – first test in 20 + years there

    1. Vlad X. Novichok

In that universe Putin is Voldemort and all you Toady Choads hot for Putin boner snot are Death Eaters.

      1. K.Cavan

Is that your universe, Vladdie? You’re probably the type who broke the habit of a lifetime & started reading when the Harry Potter children’s adventure books became popular or maybe “graphic novels”, a.k.a. comics, are more your style? You seem to be a bit of a simpleton, so probably the latter, too many words in those Rowling books.
Who types your comments up for you?

        1. Vlad X. Novichok

Caveman Cavan in with another dopey comment… duuuurrr…

No doubt overdosing on all that Putin boner snot from that well stocked jizzbank.

All those dead Ukrainians got to be worth a good Saturday afternoon tug or two. Right?

          1. Vlad X. Novichok

Not as poor as those poor oul dead Ukrainians… died all so you can milk a little more Putler – yep Putler – boner snot and store it in yer jizzbank.

The Russkie high command are increasingly making Melchy look like General Patton – with Comical Vlad’s band of incompetents telling us they had no designs on Kyiv – they couldn’t capture a sand castle from a troop of sea scouts – the Russians are amateur hour on laughing gas and now looking to do a Monty Python Runaway Runaway .

Donbass or bust – Humbled and humiliated little Vlad is working on a much less ambitious project !

    1. SOQ

Clearly just a coincidence that this individual popped up on this site just in time to champion the fourth Reich.

      1. Broadbag

He’s great, keep on posting Stephen, don’t let the Putin bots and twisted cheerleaders silence you.

        1. K.Cavan

Yes, Broadbag, can’t have shills “silenced”, you’d reserve that for people who’d dare to differ from The Narrative.
“Silenced”, oh you big fluffy Drama Queen, you.

    2. K.Cavan

Ah, stephen, your wee rants are beginning to sound like your pin-up boy, Adolf, in the bunker scene in Downfall. Have you been recreating scences from the invasion with your little plastic soldiers? You realise that if your little plastic Ukrainians beat your little plastic Russians it has no effect in the real world? Probably not.

  2. TenPin Terry

It is so steamingly hot tonight I’m thinking of renting my nutsack out as a Turkish sauna.
Ice cubes will form an essential part of TenPin’s boudoir tomfoolery in the hours thusforth.
Margaritas have been slaking the thirst.
    Cannonball Adderley providing the tunes.
    Ain’t life bloomin’ grand ?

    1. Cú Chulainn

I’d say you nutsack is up for grabs alright Charger.. stay safe and stay in your cell.. you’re only in for a month and the weather is to turn cold this week coming..

    2. K.Cavan

It’s a sad injustice, Terry, that you have no friends & have to take to this forum to talk about the fascinating mundanities of your lonely life. What’s wrong with people, when they clearly shun you as if you’re some boring, self-obsessed retard? Perhaps, & this is just a guess, your personal hygiene leaves a little to be desired, your posts here do tend to stink the place up. Dear, oh dear.

    1. stephen moran

or Daniil Medvedev (tennis numero uno chap)- must be like Murphy in the land of the Airfix tank

    2. K.Cavan

I reckon that could happen, ce, easily. Have you considered that it might be Covid, though? Yeah, maybe the virus respects the way the Worldwide Pandemic was feted in The West, while ignored by the rest of the planet?
Else, having been handed a hiding by the magic clot-juice, it realised that it was better to be on Our Side, lest we visit our wrath on it, as we did on those hundreds of thousands of innocent Iraqi children who got Shocked & Awed, so it’s giving the Russians The Coof.
Sounds about as believable as this bit of Clown-world mewling nonsense, anyway.

  3. TenPin Terry

    I agree One Vowel™
    Excellent test match.
And the final test in Grenada between the West Indies and England has the potential to be very interesting too.
We have a late-afternoon seafood barbecue planned for a few like-minded souls to enjoy a chum’s dodgy stream.
For now though I’m just cooling my genitals with a packet of frozen Bird’s Eye Petit Pois.

    1. stephen moran

Indeed a tale of the tail enders thus far – 50 plus would be a handy lead in a low scoring match though I would fear for a brittle Windies batting lineup chasing any sort of score batting last. It certainly isn’t going to be a draw.

      1. TenPin Terry

Part of the tradition of travelling England supporters is to sing Jerusalem after the first ball is bowled every day.
I always feel sorry for the travelling Welsh because of course it’s the England and Wales cricket team.
But nevertheless some fine, stirring words to raise the spirits.
        Marvellous™

Bring me my bow of burning gold!
Bring me my arrows of desire!
Bring me my spear: o clouds unfold!
Bring me my chariots of fire!
        I will not cease from mental fight;
Nor shall my sword sleep in my hand
        Till we have built Jerusalem
In England’s green and pleasant land.

        1. jonjoker

“it’s the England and Wales cricket team”
A bit like the British Lions then, sorry, I forgot, one or two of them are Ahrish. Terribly sorry, old bhoy.

So Sieg Heil Nazi Vlad has joined the gaggle of right wing nutjobs – Steve Bannon, Candice Owens Laurence Fox, Nigel Farage, Andrew Neil, David Starkey, the braindead Brendan O’Neill and his the ex-Revolutionary Communists at Spiked, the Mail (Liddle, Littlejohn, Hitchens, Moir Vine), liar liar Melville, Paul Saines, Telegraph (Alison Pearson puke, yuck, vomit et al), Daily Excrement, everyone at that jam rag the Spectator, all self delusional Brexit ultras, the Northern Taliban & the cast of (K)GB News, by accusing the west of being obsessed with “cancel culture”

        1. K.Cavan

Wow, I didn’t know they were your parents, stephen. Did they rush you into residential care as soon as they noticed how different you were to the other babies?
No wonder you hate them, I don’t blame you & may I say, it’s wonderful that you can open up to tell us all of the emotional scars that have left you in this sad state.
          Stunning & Brave.

    1. SOQ

Just a point Brexit- something I never really had any strong views on either way- apart from the fact that the sky did not fall in once they left, as promised by the hysterical media.

A very important point which as usual has been complete ignored is that Ukrainian people now have the same rights within the EU as EU citizens. Ukraine is a non EU country and to my knowledge this has never happened before. The implications are huge because because the precedence has now been set.

Britain on the other hand, one of the most immigrant friendly countries in the world, has taken a far more level headed approach. But they can do so because they are not in the EU anymore, which I suppose was the whole point of Brexit in the first place.

      1. stephen moran

Medicine San Frontiers hits out at the UK government’s “unworkable, exorbitantly expensive and inhumane’” Bill

“The Borders Bill makes Britain ‘one of the most anti-refugee countries in the world”

never let the opinion of experts get in the way of your nonsense though

        1. K.Cavan

Experts, why didn’t you tell us you had experts to agree with, stephen? I know, I bet it’s the way the great Sir Luke O’Neill announced that boosters give years of powerful immunity to those taking them & then all those people got sick & died just to spite him.
We should also remember to sanctify only the views of the Right Kind of experts, those who’s opinions align correctly with the State & their Corporate bosses. Thank goodness for Fact Checkers, they’re even more expert than Experts. Apparently.
Last night I saw a News Program, called an advert, that stressed how experts agree that L’Oréal Age-Defying Creme (no, it’s pronounced “krem”) left skin looking “visibly younger”. As opposed to invisibly younger, I assume.

      2. K.Cavan

The EU long-ago decided that it’s Immigration Laws, as well as those of it’s serf regions were an irrelevance to be ignored in its long fight to make Europe more African.

        1. Nigel

          ‘make Europe more African.’

I don’t want be all woke fascist and cancel anyone BUT I THINK CAVAN MIGHT BE A FLAMING RACIST.

    2. SOQ

IMO Putin’s self insertion into a western culture debate is very clever.

The propaganda of war is to personalise the enemy and focus on one individual- usually the leader, then demonise him or her SOLEY through the prism of war. So being right or wrong doesn’t really matter as long as Putin can make himself personable or relatable in western eyes on a separate subject.

As for the general topic of cancel culture- there may only be a certain group who are speaking up at present but there is a silent section- possibility majority- who are sick and tired of that nonsense. But people can still speak, with their money, and Gillette for example learned the ‘go woke go broke’ lesson the hard way.

      1. Nigel

Exactly, he’s appealing to the morally bankrupt reactionaries who are so committed to the policies that are wrecking the world that they’ve retreated to this hysterical culture war attack on anything vaguely progressive. That they look on a corrupt murderous warmongering oligarch as a bedfellow shows exactly what they’re willing to do to keep destroying the world and roll back social progress. But there’s nothing surprising or new about any of this – he’s been funding right wing and conservative Christian hate groups for ages. But this explicit appeal is new. He’s supposed to be a dangerous statesman, master of hybrid warfare, and here he’s reduced to the level of Graham Linehan whining about how the consequences of his own actions and choices have made him the real victim? Tell it to all the dead people in Ukraine.

        1. K.Cavan

Absolutely Right, Nigel, why oh why do people insist on questioning the motives of the Western Oligarchs who’ve spent billions, of their Own Money, to create a Worldwide Fake Pandemic for us & then, in our hour of need, they popped up to sell the cure for that pandemic to our governments?
Why are all these people, who dare to disagree with the opinions you share with those Oligarchs, so intent on destroying the world? Why?
Why must you carry the burden of being right, forever? Why has society not progressed in a way that doesn’t demand that Bill Gates constantly has to use his vast wealth to set it right. The fact that Gates, the guy who pretends his name is George Soros, the Rothschilds, the Rockerfellers & their fellow Oligarchs increased their wealth enormously in the process of ripping society apart is neither here nor there. Destroying small businesses helps small business owners relax, killing elderly people in Care Homes is a small price to pay for terrifying the sheep into submission.
Progress isn’t something that happens, naturally or organically, over time, it’s a steel fist in a steel glove, enforcing the intellectual abstractions of academics & their non-binary, neuro-divergent student fan clubs & anyone opposing being told what to do by their betters are just Far Right Nazi Racist Sexist Transphobe Homophobe Islamophobe Fascists.
Will people never learn? Just because every other attempt to create Utopia from the dreams of fanatics has ended in disaster & genocide doesn’t mean it’s always going to be thus. There is nothing, nothing at all to learn from History. The next attempt will succeed in making a New World Order that’s loved by the masses, even if those masses have to be liquidated in the process.

        2. jonjoker

From what you’ve written, it sounds as though he took a leaf or two out of the US Democratic and Republican parties’ books, who have been carrying similar policies throughout the world as long s most of us can remember.

    3. K.Cavan

Of course, stephen, there’s a Reich to be run, camps for vaccine refusnicks to be set up, children to be liquidated with the magic juice, we can’t have people going around will-nilly, expressing opinions that the Government hasn’t licenced.
Silence them, stephen, then deny it because if you deny something often enough, it ceases to exist.
What Cancel Culture, eh? I mean why have all these traitors invented a term for something that doesn’t even exist? Probably because they’re traitors, right? We know what you’d do to traitors if the world went batpoo crazy enough to elevate you to your favoured position of Gruppen-Furher, eh, Grrrrr!

      1. Nigel

‘I mean why have all these traitors invented a term for something that doesn’t even exist?’

Because it’s easier than actually adressing real proplems, especially if the problems are caused by people making lots of money.

    4. K.Cavan

My goodness, stephen, you do spend an inordinate amount of time, on your own, consuming the mainstream media. At least that explains why you’re so odd (the isolation) & have opinions that stink of Elitist propaganda (the propaganda).

  5. Mad

Charlie W – shameless appropriation of a murder victim
Shooting this inbred fupp between the eyes would be too good for him like the fate that befell Uncle D

So, off sails Holohan with a suitcase of plaudits, to take up a position at TCD.
Dedicated service to the people of Ireland.

Yep. He excelled himself with his attempt to keep a lid on the Cervical Check scandal. https://www.irishexaminer.com/news/arid-30910324.html
“ Tony Holohan, Department of Health chief medical officer (CMO), urged the health minister to opt for a report which Dr Holohan himself would prepare.”

New lapdog and new NPHET currently being put in place.

  7. stephen moran

A Moscow City Duma deputy suggested that six more countries – Kazakhstan, Moldova, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia – should be “denazified”. Physician heal thyself. There’s only one country in Europe currently in need of a spring clean and total top down refurb in the de-Nazification stakes.

A country like Russia with sub third world levels of endemic corruption and nepotism will never prevail. A invading fascist foreign crusader colonizing conscript army will not defeat a well supplied, armed and financed indigenous volunteer force which has the backing if the vast majority of its people fighting on terrain it knows defending their sovereignty.

    1. E'Matty

Brilliant idea. We could also do a spot of deNazification here Stevo, starting with resident globalist Nazis like yourself, Daisy, GeeBag and a few others. I think that’s a purge we’d could all get behind with some enthusiasm. Indeed, with smiles on our faces. Thanks for the thought. This has set me right up for the day which looks set to be sunny and bright. Wonderful.

      1. stephen moran

True colours – ah scratch the surface and its the final solution – no rational debate tolerated in your totalitarian wet dream (typical Stalinism) – charmed I’m sure – I really wonder from what irrational anti democratic rock some of you creatures crawl out from under – It’s just as well you are such a tiny minority in the generally sane populace whose IQ rises above room temperature and not driven by some crazed laughable pre-pubescent conspiracy theories though you do seem to be wildly disproportionately misrepresent in this cesspit of intolerance.

        1. K.Cavan

Your rancid, adolescent opinions are tolerated here by the owners of this site, stephen, indeed they’re given equal billing with sane & rational posts.
On the other hand, the MSM who form your opinions are utterly censorious towards anyone who’d dare even question the Oligarch-friendly, war-mongering, neo-fascist tripe they vomit.

      2. Broadbag

A Putin bot in favour of purges? Well I never! Keep lapping up that delicious propaganda E’Matty, keep in line or it’s 15 years in the gulag for you, all hail/heil the great Russian democracy!

          1. Nigel

Don’t need an offshore site like Guantanamo in Putin’s Russia – straight to prison with anyone who dissents, if they don’t get tossed out a window.

    2. SOQ

It would be funny if it wasn’t so bloody disingenuous. Whatever Russia may or may not be, they are NOT fascists. The logic appears to be that if you run around Ukraine killing Nazis, then that makes you a Nazi- it is BS of the highest order.

But more and more people are becoming aware of who the real Nazis are and even ‘the woke’ whom are hardly known for their introspection, are wondering. They have been force fed the idea that right is bad and left is good for so long, now only to find that they are cheering on the wrong team.

And they are most definitely the wrong team. To quote Maajid Nawaz about Azov “I use the word Nazi, not neo Nazi, because these are actual Nazis, they are not neo in any sense, they are the continuation of Nazis as we know then and study them in history.”

No smoke and mirrored deflection is going to hide the fact that the US and NATO is in support of Ihor Kolomoyskyi and his band of knuckle dragging NAZI thugs.

      1. stephen moran

Up early – were you out on maneuvres with Herman Kelly and the lads – I believe Gemma makes great sambos- what kind of self delusional echo chamber do you actually inhabit – risible sub Pravda stuff. Lovely day for it though – enjoy your fictional fantasies – I’ll Keep on Rockin’ in the Free World

        1. SOQ

Trying the old guilt by association smear is it?

If I am to be associated with anyone then I decide- and in this case it is Maajid Nawaz, whom I have quoted above.

          2/10.

          1. Nigel

‘Trying the old guilt by association smear is it? ‘

This a self-awarenss failure so complete you could stick it in a textbook.

          2. Janet, dreams of an alternate universe

don’t ya know man plans and the gods laugh ( when they aren’t sleeping)

      2. Nigel

        ‘ they are NOT fascists’

They’re a militarised ethnonatinalist neoliberal oligarchy with a quasi-mythologised dictator – that’s as close to a fascist social structure as you could hope to ask for.

‘The logic appears to be that if you run around Ukraine killing Nazis, then that makes you a Nazi’

Someone’s forgetting that even in the 1930s and 40s there were mutliple strains of fascism – Nazism was only the most dominant.

‘find that they are cheering on the wrong team.’

It’s easy. The guys doing the invading? Theyre in the wrong. Cuts through a lot of propaganda.

        ‘No smoke and mirrored deflection’

is going to hide that you are supporting and spreading decetful propaganda on behalf of a fascist invasion.

        1. f_lawless

‘It’s easy. The guys doing the invading? Theyre in the wrong. Cuts through a lot of propaganda.’
Thanks for that insight. That’s satisfied my curiosity.

*cancels ‘Geopolitics for Dummies’ book order on Amazon*

          1. Nigel

Well, no. When they invade they are also the bad guys. Cripes you two are wedged so tight into your utterly simplified mindset you can’t conceive of any other except as mirror images to your own.

        2. K.Cavan

Nigel, if the guys doing the invading are in the wrong & those guys are usually America & it’s allies, who are all intent on enforcing everything you believe in, you’re in the wrong, all the time, based on your own logic.
Glad you admitted that, it’s a humble thing to do, are you not feeling well?

          1. Nigel

‘who are all intent on enforcing everything you believe in,’

See that? Lovely bit o’ straw, that.

        3. Daisy Chainsaw

Conspiraloons have been cheering on the wrong team for several years now. Siding with murderous dictator like Putin isn’t in the least bit surprising.

      3. Dinkum

From the day Ukraine was taken over by the median square revolution which was a coup Ukraine has been on the road to where they are now
The far right staged that coup and the west were up to their necks in it backing a government put in place by the far right
Anyone opposed to the narrative are now sidelined and portrayed as Nazis or supporters of a mad man Putin
The west all knew what Putin is but they kept poking him and zelensky also did his share of the poking
I remember a few hours after Putin invaded listening to the Ukrainian ambassador on WION news speaking from new deli at about 6am that morning
He appeared so visually shocked to the point of virtually having a heart attack due to the intensity of the invasion
I assume he just thought at the worst a few divisions of troops would cross the border and just help the pro Russian separatists in the Dombass area not a full force invasion which is exactly what happened

      4. jonjoker

In fairness, running around killing people, even if they are Nazis, is not to be applauded.
In fact not doing so is one of the things that differentiates most of us from Nazis; and their ilk who may just be psychopaths or necons rather than full-blown nazis.

    3. K.Cavan

Ah sure, stephen, when the borders of Ukraine reflect the ethnic realities ignored in its creation in 1991 & “security for one means security for all”, you’ll still be hoping for a victory for Western Corruption & Poverty in the former Soviet Republic.
Of course, you’ll still be denying the War Crimes of Uncle Sam in Iraq, on the basis that Washington will find those elusive WMDs they dreamt up, any day now.
I know that there are, allegedly, more airstrikes, daily on starving innocent civilians in a sectarian war in Yemen, than in Ukraine but how do we know Yemen even exists?

      1. stephen moran

The difference is I have to truck or trail with either side as you seen to think – I’m merely pointing out Russia’s current rank hypocrisy as invader and neo czarist imperialist – I was outside the US embassy back in 2003 (I’m in my mid 50’s – so am very well acquainted with the MIC and the illegality of the Iraq invasion and just as the was bs of biolabs then (with “Curveball” and the neo cons) so there is the same disinformation about biolabs now – my point is that I can see both and I’m just amazed those who call out the MIC (which I totally agree with) can’t equally be as strident in the opposition to Russia doing exactly the same thing 20 years on – furthermore it amuses me that those same people can’t see this will end exactly the same way with Russia going home humiliated – the difference being the US could afford to pay that bill – so glad I’m “tolerated” here btw as I am aware what would happen if your ilk ever had their hands of the levers of power what would happen to free speech. FYI I have never voiced any opinion regarding compulsory vaccinations here.

        1. jonjoker

I don’t support Putin’s invasion, but I do think that this invasion has been subtly encouraged by the US as a strategy to weaken Russia via an increased military budget and therefore lower investment in useful projects.
A similar strategy was followed by Reagan back in the 1980s, leading to the Soviet Union falling apart under the weight of the arms race.

That said, I feel it mightn’t work out for the US this time round; IMO Russia is, instead of a gung-ho full-fledged invasion, carrying out a war of attrition against Ukraine via a policy of encircling major cities and leading to a collapse in those cities’ economy. This will lower the resources available to Ukraine’s army.

One thing that I am in a sense flabbergasted by is the ease with which Russia apparently took over a huge swathe of S Ukraine (actually the ex-Crimean Khanate) on the continent to the north of the Crimean peninsula. There are very few ways to leave Crimea – just a couple of roads and a couple of bridges. So how did it happen that Russia just rolled into S Ukraine and took over an area the size of an Irish province in a few days, with apparently no opposition? It certainly points to a completely disfunctional Ukrainian military, IMO.

    4. K.Cavan

Well, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia & Estonia were all admitted to NATO, despite numerous promises made to Russia, as were Slovakia, Slovenia, Czech Rep, Hungary, Romania & Bulgaria. The words of the US Secretary Of State, the German Chancellor & Foreign Minister were all worthless & they were proven to be liars.
The utterances of a city councillor in Russia are hardly important, in comparison to such overt dishonesty at the highest levels of America’s government & those of it’s subject statelets.

  8. E'Matty

As much as I despise the Foo Fighters and the globalist shill Grohl has turned out to be, RIP Taylor Hawkins. Very sad for three kids to lose their dad.

    1. God is Sleeping

That’s very benevolent of you Mathew, fair deuce.
If only the poor fecker hadn’t been coerced into that forth booster shot.

    2. K.Cavan

He was stabbed with a booster, at Grohl’s insistence, before a gig in South America. I hope the asshat has a few sleepless nights about causing his drummer’s death.
Maybe it was all just another in that long, long list of coincidences, though, I mean rock stars die all the time from drugs, right?

      1. God is Sleeping

Ah Kavan, I thought the deep state had finally rounded your self and your notions up but alas you still have hackcess to the internets, what a terrible waste of flesh and bone you are,. Dirty sinful pig.

  9. bisted

…some commenters here seem to be mixing their Vlads…wasn’t the comedian lad supposed to be the good guy…mind you Comrade Putin is showing his sense of humour by demanding the EU pay for his oil and gas in roubles thereby boosting his currency…

    1. SOQ

Oh no that is not about humour, that is deadly serious. The whole point is that the longer Ukraine goes on, the weaker the petrodollar will be.

Russia has Europe by the short and curlys because despite all their bluff and bluster, they cannot do without Russian oil and gas.

And who warned them about this very scenario occurring? Trump- he who was supposed to be in Putin’s pocket.

    2. ce

“by demanding the EU pay for his oil and gas in roubles thereby boosting his currency…” yeah, that seems to be working out great for him…

        1. SOQ

It’s not just roubles- that is just for the ‘unfriendly’, and pretty sure they plan to turn the screws there when it suits.

Saudi Arabia is in talks with China to do business in the Chinese yuan and then there is a possible India Russia rupee- ruble deal?

The Russia/ China/ India economic convergence is absolutely huge. The last to try to trade outside the petrodollar was Gaddafi, and we all know what happened to him.

          1. stephen moran

The Saudi currency is pegged to the $. That’s why the put up their interest rates 25bp in lockstep with the Fed the other day. Nothing can replace the petrodollar except possibly the petroeuro – what can you use CNY for ? Where can you reinvest it safely ? The CNY is not convertible or a medium of exchange – it represent less than 4% of global trade and you can’t open a CNY account.. It is voodoo economics – like reintroducing the gold standard.

          2. K.Cavan

stephen, the Petrodollar has already been replaced, as will the Unipolar World Order. The dreams of the world’s most vicious, most amoral & ruthless empire lie in ruins at the feet of it’s dotard President & about time too.
As the Big O sang “it’s over, it’s over, it’s over…” And out.

“I am the very model of a Russian Major General
My standing in the battlefield is growing quite untenable
With forces, so ill equipped and given orders unequivocal
I did not expect the fight to be remotely this reciprocal”

    1. E'Matty

I would think you more in the vein of a French or Italian soldier Stevo. Loud, cocy but with no backbone at all when the bullets start flying.

  11. SailorGerry

It seems more like slow steady progress to me, with Mariupol being a tough nut to crack.

Seems around 7000 Azov battalion left out of 15,000 at the start, still using human shields as a tactic will take some cleansing, but they will all perish, one by one as they run out of ammo and supplies.

If they can evacuate the civilians, it will get levelled, and it already looks pretty much trashed from the videos I have seen.

    1. ce

Yeah, the mass murdering life-hating God-is-great-and-wants-me-to-die-as-a-martyr Chechen mercenaries are doing a great job fighting the Ukrainians…

      1. K.Cavan

Now, ce, stop it with your Islamophobia. I’m sure you’re an enthusiastic supporter of populating Ireland with as many of their co-religionists as possible?

    2. God is Sleeping

I am going to have some fun with you when you walk through the gates of hell Ger, there will be fupp all sailing to say the least. Sinful, sinful sailor.

      1. SailorGerry

Self defence is not a sin.

The Russians had a moral obligation to defend their brothers in Dontesk and Lugansk and this is what that looks like, as brutal as that reality is.

From my perspective, enduring 8 years of shelling in those territories of civilians was too long and the lairs in Kiev never had an intention to honour the Minsk agreements, which they signed.

The mess in Ukraine is the work of the US and all goes back to Nudleman and her CIA scripted coup, its been a slow motion train wreck since then.

Zelensky will be all right though if he gets back to Miami, living in his $35 million waterfront property, spending the $billion stashed in his off shore slush fund.

Man of the people my backside.

          1. SOQ

Posted at 1:55 and response at 2:04 which is 9 minutes to watch a video of 8:30 minutes length- did you?

And if not, why are you so bothered if you couldn’t be bothered?

        1. Nigel

‘Self defence is not a sin.’

You wouldn’t think so, the way you talk about Ukrainians.

Putin paid for, fomented and supplied the violence in the so-called breakaway areas. Jesus you call down blue murder on the CIA for their interference but parrot indoctrinated ethnonationalist slogans on Putin’s behalf.

    3. K.Cavan

Indeed, some pics I’ve seen look almost as bad as those US towns subjected to fiery but peaceful protest by BLM & Antifa’s Paedophile Brigades during Covid-proof protests in the middle of the Fake Pandemic.

          Lol

Remember the report you criticised earlier in the week? The one about Russian progress in Ukraine beng at a standstill?

How do you like them apples now?

          1. SailorGerry

Progress is slower than I had thought it would be from the Russian side, certainly in part to a well motivated defending force.

If they were not followers of Stephan Bandera, I might actually have a degree of respect for them.

The bets are made and the dice are rolled, we shall see where they land, and all deal with the fallout.

It is a great distraction from the deliberate impoverishment of Europe though, through inflation, taxes and the green conjob. Not so many column inches left to cover the damage caused by the Covid scam either as the truth slowly leaks out. Or our sovereignty being given away to the UN Plandemic Preparedness Committee and the EU digital ID still being rolled out to tie in with UBI and the CBDC.

Much better the sheeple have a virtue signalling binary argument over Ukraine, rather than an honest discussion about the issues we face at the hands of the globalists and their WEF shill politicians.

        2. God is Sleeping

You will be found out soon enough Harney, as the SOQ says tik tok, tik tok, tik tok, tik tok, tik tok, tik tok, tik tok, tik tok, tik tok, tik tok, tik tok, tik tok, tik tok, tik tok, tik tok, tik tok, tik tok..

      1. Hughie Luas

That’s the problem – all related to each other. New people needed, this isn’t an Irish General Election.

        1. K.Cavan

That subsidised canteen in Montrose is very good, not a patch on a venison dinner for €3.50 in the Dail Food Kitchen, though.
They had cups of coffee for 26c, a while back, probably gone up to 30c by now.
You also made a factual error there, Oh So, they have a job in RTE, they don’t actually do much in the line of work, out there.

      1. SOQ

As was proved during the freedom protests all over the world, TikTok is the most ground up politically active social media platform around.

That luddites cannot see how or why it works doesn’t stop others, in their millions, from using it- especially as an indexing service to other platforms and websites.

        Sneer away, nobody cares.

        1. K.Cavan

Ah sure, SOQ, these lads quote The Guardian, the 20th best-selling daily newspaper in the UK (out of 20) & a bastion of hysterical screaming wokery & bad English, on a regular basis.

    1. K.Cavan

A good commentary, the tiny size of the Russian invading army, compared to the Ukrainian forces, has dragged things out & though I don’t forsee a bloodbath like Iraq or something as brutal as Libya or Syria to be revealed when the smoke clears, it would be best if Ukraine bows to the inevitable, rather than pays any attention to the baying hordes of war-mongering system pigs in The West.
By the end of April, I expect Ukraine’s defeat to be accomplished but so much suffering could be avoided if the governments of The West, for once, could contain their insane bloodlust & face up to reality.

    1. K.Cavan

Eamonn is a politician, SOQ, his mind is on important matters like how to screw the working class to pay for free electric car-charging stations for the Southside’s Green Middle-Classes, he can’t be keeping up with the latest developments in foreign lands.
Anyway, he’s only thirty years behind the curve & he probably needed a nap.

  12. Dinkum

Very little about the victory for those sacked P&O sacked workers when in Northern Ireland the authorities refused to allow the ship to sail citing health and safety
I would say the odds are on now for those workers to be reinstated
Amazing why what happened in Northern Ireland was not duplicated throughout the EU and UK to send a message to the greedy companies that are making a mockery of workers laws

    1. K.Cavan

I assume there were no Somali pirates available to take the jobs? By doing that, the Working Class, Brext-supporting Oiks, with their outrageous demands for paid jobs, could be put in their place, the profit margin for the owners increased, diversity & cultural enrichment achieved, plus, the waters off the coast of Somalia, where the British Navy crushed the last vestiges of the ancient Arab/African Slave Trade, could be made immeasurably safer for the modern slave trade.

  13. Dinkum

I always believed tin pan man’s partner was male hence his constant posts that would make anyone living with him bored stiff

  14. Dinkum

A little fact not really being talked about
Zelenskyy is now worth just short of $600 million
    Not bad for a comedian
He also as president on a salary of $780 thousand has a monthly income of $11 million
I assume the money just keeps rolling in
Let’s call him lucky for I would love to know how much of that money was earned honestly
And as his nation burns how many of his people are so fortunate or have the business aqumen to prosper so well

    1. K.Cavan

He’s easily as good an actor as Ben Affleck, who’s real nane is Benjamin Géza Affleck-Boldt, so he’s well worth every laundered cent of the drug-money he gets. As is paedophile pic-collector, Hunter Biden.

      1. SOQ

Funny, Bullybag appears to read everything SOQ writes.

If I was to read everything Nigel writes- I would conclude Nigel was a badly written AI program then move on: therefore not.

        1. K.Cavan

Now that would explain a lot. The complete absence of personality, the robotic repitition of every Woke cliche & MSM talking point, shorn of anything resembling an individual worldview, the obsequious attitude to those in positions of power, my, my, I think you’ve cracked it, SOQ.
          By golly I do.

      2. K.Cavan

Well, Broadband, you & the rest of the MSM orphans ’round here seem to think Zekensky is actually a politician, lol, someone to be treated seriously, while it’s obvious to anyone with a functioning brain that he’s a bad actor, in both senses of the phrase & deserves to be pelted with rotten fruit, in true Shakespearean style.
The fact that he’s given the time of day is a clear sign of the plumetting IQs I’ve read so much about & the fact that Western Civilization is entering its final phase of dissolution & eventual collapse.

    1. Verbatim

This is the most worrying aspect of this war, that this dire threat is still on the table.
“Putin established the nuclear threat at the start of the war, warning that western intervention would reap ‘consequences you have never seen'”.

      1. Dinkum

Actually the first to mention about WMDS was zelensky
I distinctly heard that and it was atom bombs which are dirty bombs

        1. Fearganainm

          Incorrect.

The first reference to dirty bombs came at the beginning of March in evidence-free Russian allegations that Ukraine had ‘been close to’ developing a ‘dirty bomb’ at the destroyed Chernobyl nuclear power plant that was shut down in 2000. Since the allegations were first made no evidence has been provided to support the claims.

          https://english.alarabiya.net/News/world/2022/03/06/Russian-media-without-evidence-says-Ukraine-making-nuclear-dirty-bomb-Reuters-

    2. K.Cavan

It would be pretty dumb to possess weapons you intended to never use. The USA’s farcical & benighted efforts to bully nations who simply don’t like them into supporting their self-harming sanctions regime has turned another nuclear power, India, against The West, now. Nobody likes us & we’re only now learning how isolated & powerless we are. Crows are arriving home to roost, finally, the Americans having eaten all the chickens.
What would you expect, I suppose, from the world’s number 1 terrorist state, the only nation that actually ever used nukes & on civilians, too, especially under the erratic stewardship of the drug-addled dementia of Biden & his moronic groupie WOC, Harris?

    3. SailorGerry

Well I guess we know the US first strike policy on nuclear weapons from a few years back when they took out civilian two cities in Japan that did not contain military targets……

    1. K.Cavan

Head inserted into Anal Spinchter. It’s great, you can barely hear her sing or recite her “poetry”. Bono’s been in that position for some time, so he simply gets that demented old witch, Pelosi, to recite his doggerel.

  15. Fergalito

    Irony with a capital “I”

“Medvedev added that there was a “determination to defend the independence, sovereignty of our country, not to give anyone a reason to doubt even the slightest that we are ready to give a worthy response to any infringement on our country, on its independence””

  16. SailorGerry

Why would anybody want the same bunch of banksters that has devalued the USD and GBP by 95% over the last 30 years roughly, give the same crooks carte blanche to issue a new currency?

It is beyond reason that only a minute percentage of the population either care or object to the obvious criminality.

The digital manacles are being prepared for those that will wear them, the beast system is clearly visible for those with eyes to see.

‘Treated like a servant, threatened with deportation’: Ukrainian woman’s host family experience

    https://www.irishexaminer.com/news/arid-40837061.html

“A Ukrainian woman has warned other refugees to use only official channels when sourcing accommodation in Ireland after a host family “exploited” her and threatened to have her deported after witnessing a violent row in their home…”

    1. SailorGerry

As bad as that one example is, and I fear there will be worse reported over time, the Filipino’s in Dubai are taken advantage of on a massive scale, everyday and nobody seems to care. Passports held, wages sequestered until the flight and agency fees are repaid, poor terms and conditions, jobs not as advertised, etc.

There is a push globally to make indentured servitude ok and acceptable, I find it despicable.

It is as wrong in Ireland, as it is Dubai, or some farm in the UK with migrant workers living in containers.

There is a global plan to make the working people of the world more equal. Which sounds noble on paper, until you realise, they want the working West to be lowered to 3rd world status. More hours, less money, never owning a house, no job security, second income cycling pizzas on Deliveroo or Just Eat to stay a float, or driving an Uber every hour God sends.

There has to be a better way.

      1. K.Cavan

It’s quite obvious that, what with this & that, the world can no longer afford billionaires. Obviously, the Woke will be up in arms about it but we need to put the filthy rich out of our misery. Not content with owning all the money, assets & land, they’re now trying to claim ownership of the “Human Capital”, as they so blithely refer to humanity.
By sacrificing a mere 6,000 people, everyone on the planet could have their wealth at least doubled, young children would be protected from sexual exploitation by the paedo scumbags & politics could even be restored from the cesspit it has become.
        Seems like a no-brainer.
Give me enough ammunition & I’ll pop a cap in their heads, for a small fee. Ah shucks, I’ll do it, gratis.
A world with secure borders but no Gates.

        1. Fearganainm

Sure, hot shot. No surprise to note that you can’t even fire blanks.

You’re just going to have to keep using your two-fingers pistol and make ‘pew! pew! pew!’ noises as you cower in your room, slaughtering all ’round you.

I had a look at that.
Here’s a very relevant quote, IMO:

“… in recent weeks, there’s also been a state and media pivot. The object of anxiety has shifted with breathtaking rapidity from Covid-19 to war in the Ukraine. And the strategy to deal with this new anxiety is to virtue signal your unconditional support for Ukraine and unquestioningly condemn everything Russian.

The shift in narrative has been seamless.”

      1. Nigel

        ‘breathtaking rapidity’

It’s almost as if it reflects the order in which they happened. The rest is special pleading for people who think Putin should be allowed to invade whoever he wants.
