  1. Interesting. Faisal’s tweets are always intriguing.

Also on twitter: a fight going on between Day and night mag and The Dubliner on Twitter!!!!! Handbags!

  2. So “bailout has to change” = “v cocky”. Interesting’s hardly the word… That’s a significant interpretation to hang on an anonymous source. If S&M didn’t explain to their parliaments what their strong national interest was in getting those billions and billions, they were a bit remiss.

  3. It was my understanding that the EU was borrowing this money at 3%, and loaning it onto us at 5.8%, no? I fail to see why such a system was so politically challenging for ‘our European partners’.

  4. Right so, I’ll get my hat … Last one to leave the Country, turn of the emersion. That’ll be you, Des Bishop!

  5. They are not happy because they are quite simply shitting themselves and i think Kenny has cottoned onto this. The noise coming from Ireland of burden sharing does not bode will for French or German banks. If Ireland is even thinking of this and the campaign for a debt audit commission in Greece picks up steam the house of cards comes crashing down quite quickly. It will then become apparent who we were really “bailing out”.

  6. Go for it Enda!! He has nothing to loose. It’s interesting to see the European (Franco/German) response to Kenny’s inexperience.
Clearly he needs to be taught to crawl and grovel to his betters. Like the Toad Biffo.
