Let’s get the bastad

lol on the touch our balls at the airport placard. so true.
Stupid placards. The pertinent issue is jobs. This act will not only (sigh) block our porn, etc – it’ll make us extremely unattractive for any internet-based company like the Twitters and Facebooks of the world to base here. Aren’t we, y’know… putting most of our eggs in that basket?
It isn’t about jobs. That’s a complete irrelevance put out there by the likes of Adrian Weckler, the likes of Boards.ie owners, and others who don’t work in tech. Cloud computing future will NOT be ruined by legislation designed to frustrate theft and piracy. You haven’t a clue if you think that’s how Google and Facebook operate.
Judicious cropping of photos. There was about 30 layabouts at the protest. And if they’re in favour of porn and believe that the TSA operate in Irish airports then ACTA cannot happen fast enough. Arseholes.
How many of them are old enough to vote?
How many of them who are DID vote?
So easy to pooh pooh the youthful demographic in the photos. Yes I noticed how young they all are. Shouldn’t we be asking ourselves (those of us who are actually 30+) where is our presence? Is demonstration only for the young or are none of us the rest of us just arsed?
Good point Shorty.
A lot of it is funny commentary but when people who matter see those placards they’ll just think it’s a bunch of kids with nothing better to do and continue to ruin the internet.
How are young people ruining the internet?
“..the people who matter…” paragraph three from this link believes that these protestors “matter”

‘Block our porn’ – Ireland has porn now? Cool..
I for one am cheered to see the youthful demographic and not the usual Socialist Worker Faces we see at EVERY demo. More of it please!
+1 This hard-boiled working socialist agrees with you. Can’t beat a bit of youthful passion… today’s wains are tomorrow’s voters!
Why do people bother marching to the Dail on a Saturday? Who are they shaking their fists at? The flippin cleaning ladies and a few confused Gardai. Politicians don’t work on Saturdays.
lol. that’s what they said in egypt, libya, syria….
Not taking the tag off your Guy Fawkes mask is a crime in itself
