The Pro-Lifers won’t like that!
This comment isn’t getting the appreciation it deserves.
Arahahahahaha! Excellent!
Isn’t that shockin’. Still, I see where the Pierot used to be is up sale (the potpourri tat shop run by ladies who look like they don’t need to run a shop didn’t last the course, very surprised). So if anyone wants to buy it and start up an arcade kitted out exclusively with machines from the 80s and early 90s, you’ve got a customer.

The small bang.
Looks pretty run down. There should be a ‘use it or lose it’ approach applied to city centre building ownership after a number of years unoccupied.
As long as they dont leave the site derelict..
Anyone know whats planned for the site ?
A new four-storey retail building, by the looks of it. Part of a bigger re-development of most of that block (between Duke Ln, Lemon St, Grafton St, Duke St), that does NOT involve knocking down the nice old protected structures!
Looks like the relevant planning permission is this one, granted in March 2011, as amended by this permission, granted in April 2012. The second application was lodged on 21st December 2011, which always makes me suspicious!
