It’s crazy that in the 21st century we still have people in thrall to 1950’s “reefer madness” propaganda. People are given a heroin derivative – morphine – on a daily basis in controlled circumstances, so why not a cannabis derivative?

It’s not like the child will be stoking up a Camberwell Carrot!

It would involve work. So no.

This is the mantra I think is behind all these things. Effort is to be avoided.

We have to end this lunacy now and legalise cannabis for both medicinal and personal use. Half measures and deregulation aren’t nearly enough, and allow conservative policy makers continue with this deluded prohibition which has its origins in US race politics of the 1930’s and Nixon’s ‘War on Drugs’. Meanwhile millions of people all over the world are suffering from debilitating illnesses which could and should be treated with Cannabis

…Meanwhile in Canada, a common law jurisdiction like Ireland, will have full legalisation on the 1st July 2018. Perhaps, our policy makers know something Ireland’s conservative establishment don’t. Either way, you can only delay the inevitable, legalisation is coming and its no longer a question of ‘if’ but ‘when’.

Whatever happened to that fine old saying ” It’s not a sin if you don’t take pleasure in it” ? Enough of this ridiculous nonsense. Harris, get off your arse and get this medicinal use organized for people who desperately need it. The rest can be sorted out later with your focus groups, bishops etc.,

Screw pharma, we’ll create new pharmacan companies that can generate 7000 new jobs by 2025.
