BRUTAL by Emily Quinn.
We think it was taken at Oxegen.

Fresh out of the oven too.
Before Hurricane Irene.
Hurricane Charley made it to Ireland.
How bad?
From the Met Eireann report:

Met Events: Hurricane Charley (Pdf)
Last night we got this photo that you won’t have seen elsewhere sent to the Broadsheet offices (Karl’s mum’s den). Ewok was on the night desk and immediately grappled with his own conscience.
Were the couple being filmed when this photo was taken? If so, posting a photo of a person who are themselves being filmed has a satirical precedent in the Irish internetsphere. Namely our post yesterday.
But what if they weren’t being filmed? What then? Ewok declined to post the photo and it was in our ‘to-do’ box when we came in this morning.
For a variety of reasons – the placing of the ‘Silver Trout’ sign or the fact that Vogue is so obviously playing him (as in playa not literally playing him) – we decided to publish the photo.
So kill us.
It’s not trashy Thursday every week.

I spotted this today whilst bored in a hotel lobby, it’s from the July edition (page 38) of The Dublin Tourist Guide. Is this the best we can do?
In fairness, would you listen to a man who looks like he let Ray Charles at his eyebrows?I also quite like the ad for Meath on the same page.
Says it all really.
Enjoy,

…but John ‘got hitched’ to Amy Childs last night. Watch out for him reluctantly kissing her at the end and a very forlorn-looking Edward.
We’ve said it before. They’re too good for that house.

Something nice, you say?

Lots of block tackling.
