“US pledges to arm Kurds against Isis”
The US seem to continually arm groups of people who a few years later they have to go to war against.

Lets hope the Kurds aren’t as greedy as ISIS turned out to be, or the Taliban, or al Nusra, or the Israelis, or the Libyans, I could go on..

        The US armed Isis?

I think the case for arming the Kurds is pretty solid today. Isis are about the most evil grouping I can remember.

I agree with you, just to be clear. I don’t really think the Kurds are looking to grab land or anything. It was more to make a point.

But certainly ISIS has been armed either directly or, at best, indirectly by western countries. Apparently it was commonplace for Syrian rebels to sell much of the armaments they were given to extremists, also many of these weapons have fallen into the hands of ISIS when ISIS defeated these rebels in Syria, and also some of the hardware given to the Libyan rebels would have made its way to Syria. Furthermore there is the weaponry given by US to the Iraqi army which has fallen into ISIS control (all of this really goes back to the disaster of the 2003 invasion and dissolution of the Iraqi armed forces), also the Saudis support ISIS and the US pays them billions and billions for their oil.

    November 2014. ISIS falls.
Kurds : “Thanks you America for the arms , without you, our country would have fallen to the ISIS Devils”
    U.S. “Now give them back..”
    Kurds “give what back?”
    U.S. “……..”
