    wow super edgy….

It would be truly revolutionary in these inverted times would be to play the proper god save the queen, not this co-opted punk, I’m sure John Lydon himself would agree.

You lot are pleased by this token empty gesture…. So juvenile, its a window into your underdeveloped brains.

Thank god your here with your edgy, against the grain opinion of users. It’s still as fresh as the first thousand times you tried.

What a lot of pofaced wet blankets there are commenting. Just waiting to suck the fun from everything. Hate to meet one of them on a night out, but then again that’s unlikely. It made me smile.

I remember when there used to be talk of Broadsheet meet-ups over Christmas or whenever. So we could all meet each other in real life.

No one talks about that anymore. And I think it says a lot.

I suppose you could replicate the experience of meeting half the people on here by going to Dublin Zoo and watching the Orang Utans fling their shit around.

Newsnight is a shadow of its former self, driven relentlessly leftwards by the Sandalistas at the BBC.
I couldn’t give a toss how they end the programme but I would rather like to see the return of the old unbiased and hard-hitting journalism that used to precede it.
Paxman showed excellent timing to get out when he did.

I agree it’s a shadow of its former self but “relentlessly leftwards” sounds like a false paradigm to me. I’d say more like “establishment propaganda tool” or something when I watch their skewed coverage of British/US endeavours in the Middle East for example.

On a similar note, you really should watch “The Crown” on Netflix, it’s fantastic and Claire Foy may just be my new Anna Friel.

Have it on the list but wasn’t sure if it was worth it. But if it beats Anna it must be something.

Isn’t it treason not to fancy the queen? I’m still working out the finer details of UK life

      I said MAY.
Anna is peerless, I think I just got lost in the emotion of the King’s passing.
