with the amount of pro-life/pro-8th campaigning going on around the country, the referendum will never pass. this is a country that had to be cajoled into gay marriage, and while you might paint that as a “landslide”, it had the support of every party apart from Renua.
Keep selling the jumpers lads, they’ll make nice souvenirs.

It’s a wonder any of the artists found the Project Arts Centre, it’s become so irrelevant it’s almost invisible these days.

Another comment (consisting solely of a link to a mainstream news source) fails to appear.

Is the Broadsheet baby-murder agenda so fragile it cannot tolerate any dissent?

I wonder how many of these women have children? You never see children at these 8th things do you? Don’t see any men there either. It’s always the pink/blue haired student crowd with a line of silver haired senior feminists mixed in. I’d love to see the statistics on support for the repeal from women with and without children. I’m just curious. I’ve got a sickening feeling in my gut that many of the repeal activists are coming from a political standpoint, rather than a moral one. I wonder if they’ve even given much thought to abortion. If you campaign to legalize the termination of a human life on political grounds…you are a monster.

you’ve very clearly never, ever been to a Repeal demonstration, they are full of men and women with children in tow.

A lot of childless (by choice) campaigners with political views firmly on the left. You do see men at these events too. Many will have beards.
