Met Éireann say:

“Strong to gale force and gusty west to northwest winds, will give some severe gusts over Ulster, north Connacht and north Leinster. Values will range 85 to 100km/h generally, but will be higher in exposed coastal and hilly parts of Ulster, with gusts of 110 to 120 km/h expected.”
