Back in ’98 when my U/14 hurling team went to Wexford to complete in the Feile (we went to Donegal the same year for the Peil jussayin) we were split into twos and stayed with families of players on the team of our host town. The guy I was paired with who was my best mate on the team did that sound in his stupid mouth every night before going to sleep. Our relationship was never the same after.
So yes, I was always like this.
