What sort of show will Pat Kenny be hosting on UTV? Have they not forgotten the disaster of the short lived Eamonn Dunphy show on TV3?

Jeez, Denis O’Brien Media is going all-out to discredit protesters who threaten Denis O’Brien Water.

Ireland has been governed by the Denis O’Brien™ Establishment Ltd. for a good while now, but Denis O’Brien™ Media Corp. and Denis O’Brien™ Litigation Inc. makes sure that’s never fully revealed. If you still think those dribbling gombeens in the Dáil are making the key decisions and not the Denis O’Brien™ Conglomerate you should probably see a psychiatrist.

Time for a Inquiry. Is there any kind of anti-corruption authourity in Ireland?

Don’t be a gobshite, seriously the man runs a semi state company awards a contract to a more expensive bid on a job that a company he owns shares in profits from.

I’m a professional living in Dublin and frankly I don’t care if the INLA have snipers on every corner on Dec 10th, that day has become more about sticking up for the people who can’t afford the austerity imposed by this current government.
I had hoped that labour would see the error of their ways but obviously this Sunday World cover story is a whole load of SPIN. In fact this convenient INLA slant has made me even more determined to show this government that I’m not buying their BS. Fine the Sunday World reporters are doing their jobs in finding out this information but I always pegged this paper as a paper that prided itself on sharing information for the “protection if the community” (read shift more newspapers). The angle on this story is so pro government that it has left me wondering here out load. NOTHING, no beast from the east, no water cannons, no ignorant guards wearing special boots, no INLA gun lovers, no army will stop me from showing my disdain for this arrogant quango. I along with my whole family will be walking peacefully on Dec 10th. Bring on the hot chocolates! : )

What he means is he’s not like the rest of your proles but, even so, he’s down with the cause. Bit like me – at first sight, it’s all glitter and impressive facade. Beneath that, though, there’s a raw, authentic proletarian. Once I went camping and pretended to myself that I was homeless. It was a blast.

In defence of the Wurdeld, it has a good grainy texture. Downside: there’s a decent chance you’ll end up with an inky imprint of Martin Foley on your backside.

And sure Isn’t Brenny a great patriot all the same, with his snout inserted snugly inserted into the anus of the elite. Ooh, he’s a canny little man alright.

I like the quote from Ahern on the Sunday Independent –
“Adams saying he was not in the IRA is like me saying I was not in Fianna Fail”

After years in the cupboard wilderness Ahern breaks his silence

I would have thought, a more appropriate line from him would be something like –
“Adams saying he was not in the IRA, is like me saying I won it at the horses.”

I dislike the Shinners but so f***ing detest Ahern and his sleazy, ill-thought out opinions are of zero use to anybody.

May he ‘maintain his silence’ forever more.

Can they not find someone remotely likeable to discredit SF? Who gives a quarter feck what PR Ahern thinks about anything? Might ad well roll out Dustin and Bosco.

        1. Alfred E. Neumann

Ahern was re-elected, with an increased share of the vote, during the Mahon tribunal. This was after the revelation that he had attended meetings where business leaders gave him bags of cash, for reasons he couldn’t quite articulate.

Painful though it is, Ahern is the face of the Irish popular will.
