   I wonder could the Sindo tell us what it really thinks of SF? Its getting farcical now.

      Agreed. It would be one thing if they were in power. The only headlines relate to a party that is not in power. There are a few other headlines that they could have written. How about ‘Government parties continue to poll poorly’?

   At this stage the Sindo stance on SF is beginning to smack of desperation. Give it a rest already.

   It really is fascinating to observe the continued
   obsession Independent newspapers have with Sinn Fein. The Maire Cahill story ran its course weeks ago when she was mauled by Enda Kenny on the steps of Dail Eireinn. The editorial team know that a huge paradigm shift is happening right now in this country. It is impossible to predict the make-up of the next government due to the disillusionment the electorate feel towards the mainstream parties. The Sindo taking pot shots at Sinn Fein is not only laughable, but also shows the fear the D4 brigade feel as the left builds momentum. I think anyone with a working brain can see this reporting for what it is: right-wing propaganda.

   Can’t buy the Sunday independent anymore it’s getting ridiculous at this stage.
   Every single reporter follows the same Anti SF line no balance.

    Stand back, I have a theory!

    The IRA has kidnapped Denis O’Brien and are forcing him to attack Sinn Fein via the Sindo (which he doesn’t control, apparently).

    Hence, the continued rise of Sinn Fein in the polls.

    Or something…
