just followed a link on amazon for Amazon Smile…….”Amazon donates 0.5% of the price of your eligible AmazonSmile purchases to the charitable organization of your choice. Tried to search for Focus Ireland and I was offered this (above)…

An English website doesn’t contain your Irish charity but offered a link containing the same keywords. Where’s the issue?

It’s in fact the US Website which offers this charitable donation thingy, not Amazon.co.uk

Either way, you won’t find Focus Ireland.

Anyway, its kind of apt. We used to leave candles in the windows on Christmas eve to welcome the first homeless, Joseph and Mary.

Isn’t it dreadful when people hold views that don’t accord with yours?

Blink away the tears, then put in a different search term, and I am sure that you can find a charity with goals more in line with your own.

Anyone who buys from a company notorious for its treatment of their workers, and then feels good about themselves that the same company is going to make a derisory charity contribution, is a muppet.

When the Berlin Wall fell in 1989, everyone was told companies in the free market would have to make a profit to survive.

However in the brave new world, Amazon emerges – a company that has never made a profit, and yet the CEO is now the fifth richest person in the world.

This company is properly known for avoiding tax, associated with environmentally unsustainable green field developments, and highly exploitative labour practices.

It is because of the emergence of operations like this, that communism will probably return as an ideology for the masses.

It’s a sick joke that such a cynical predatory operation offers its customers derisory charity donation options at the end of transaction? You might as well rip the shirt off their worker’s back…

The Dude I couldn’t agree more…..I was curious to see the method of turd polishing they were offering with these charity donations and was interested to see American Religious colonisation of Europe was promoted as a charity.

Forget them, I’m more curious to know if Death Penalty Focus are pro or anti death penalty.
