Now there’s a person I delight in never seeing again.

“Built in 1789 by William Whitton of Dominick Street, the coach made its first appearance on the streets of Dublin on November 4, 1791, in an annual event to mark the birthday of William III.
The carriage won such acclaim that the British monarchy ordered a copy to be made for use in London.”
Strip it for parts.
Why would any student ever be taking a taxi from Ballsbridge to town? Why would anyone?
Come on disability/devastating illness followed by shame. You can do it!
Since when could students afford taxis?
In my day…….
Pretty dumb student that hasn’t stopped the taxi and started to walk yet.
Opening of Horse Show. Once a year.
All the way from Ballsbridge to town? That’s a 15 minute walk tops
“Taxi fare usually €10 now at €17..and counting…”
Serves you right for taking a taxi for that route and then publicly moaning about it.
Get a bus or walk you entitled pup.
In Oz the taxis are metered on the distance travelled, not time. Is that not the case here?
