Mr. T.
A learner and a novice sharing the car.
Not rocket science.

every time i see an ‘n for novice’ sign, i always expect to see a nun behind the wheel. i do be disappointed to see otherwise.

I thought that you weren’t supposed to display and L or N if you had a full licence. So naturally a Novice failing to display or displaying and L would be in breach of the law?

No, the novice plate is displayed for the first two years of holding a full license – that’s precisely what differentiates it from the learner plate.Having the two up at the same time does seem to negate the purpose of having two different plates though. How do you know if it’s the learner or the novice driving? To have any real meaning they’d need to be swapped out depending on who’s driving.
Columbo's Missus
Plenty of those around. A lot of parents with teens have them on the car. Still think the N plate is pointless though. Kinda clogs up the window when you have to have 2 of them up.
